I have a plausible hypothesis that even Sheryl's singing may invoke some response to the Vajra. Why? The reason lies with the fold quartz, which Sheryl wore and a few implanted into Ranka. The fold quartz is able to transmit fold waves, hence singing with the right emotion index may disrupt Vajra's ability to communicate with the hive. And yes, I think Mr Bilrer told much much more to Alto that we as viewers do not have the purview of their full conversation YET. I mean, look at his response towards Brera in school, even his friends find him weird.

Any plausible theories as to what make the Vajras tick? I remember the queen was trying to communicate with Ranka, to what purpose was the communication? Furthermore, when Howard Glass peered into the display of possible Vajra concentration around Frontier's known space, that means there could be more than one "Vajra queen" and their "threat to humanity" is not totally eliminated.

So, initially Grace and co. had little respect for the VF-25 because they assumed that being a derivative of the YF-24, it may not be as good as their VF-27? I think another aspect they overlook (possibly not by Mr. Bilrer) is the power of love that Sheryl and Ranka has for Alto. Eventually, that would be the factor that will bring their downfall.

Speaking of the VF-25, Kei's translation said "the VF-24 is underrated...". My question is compared to whom? The VF-171?

Agreed! I feel that the producers may just drag him along like what they did to Mylene in M7, in the end, she didn't make a choice and perhaps Alto may follow the same path.

I agree, the ending scene in M+ movie brings a better closure for Isamu and Myung relationship.

It wasn't simultaneously 3 vs 1. By the time Alto and Mikhail arrives, Klan was already defeated. It was up to Alto to have a melee with him. The only time it was exactly 2 vs 1 was when Alto and him were locked hand in hand combat. Prior to that, Alto engaged him on one to one, and I think Alto has better skills.

Has a lot of parallel to the SV-51. I think Alto has the better fighting skill here.

This fold dislocation mechanism is only recently introduced to MacF. I wonder how the Zentrandi travel? If my memory serves me right, when Misa, Hikaru and co. were captured by Breetai, they folded back to Budolza's base, and I think Misa must have said they were "traveling" for a few days (or more, not certain). I'm sure the distance between our solar system to Budolza's base must have been more than 12 light years for them to achieve a single fold without stopping in between. Either that, the reactors powering their warships are able to "punch" through the dislocation. I suspect human technology, pretty much governed by economics, may not see the "punch through" effect as cost effective because exponential energy requirement is needed, hence they jump in short distances. Perhaps the Vajra has a cost effective method to do it that the humans have not discovered yet.

Did anyone notice in Ep. 6 when SMS were heading out for the rescue mission, they loaded anti-ESS/ECA munitions? I wondered why isn't this munition standard in the first place? Even if they encounter rogue Zentran/Meltran fleets, their mecha is presumed to have ECA as well, right? Is that the reason why the VF-171 faired badly in the opening episodes?

But it seems VF-27 is more advance than VF-25! Can't possibly have a demon/devil who prevails over a messiah, right?

Well, that's plausible......in any case, I think his main task is probably data collection, perhaps he is interested in the data of fold reactor as well? If he indeed wanted both Luca and Alto to die, he would have done. I think the earlier threads discussed this already.
