Hey, how many of you have managed to find an Alt Prime in your local stores? I've checked my locals, and found nothing. Ebay even seems a little light on its number.

Well, Mirage doesn't look as bad as I had thought. I like it, for the most part... still not sure on his little pistols.

I don't even see how the two are remotely similar. The tranformations seem totally different. I think this is the first alt I actually detest. Hell, I've warmed up to Prime.

Alternators Prime Gallery Oh, and for all of you Nemesis Prime fans: Link I picked up Rollbar and Ricochet today. I was planning on passing, but the WRX looks so nifty in bot mode (though, silly in car, with the decals.)

I'm iffy on Mirage's bot mode... those big chrome tires are REALLY distacting, but hey, I hated prowl when he came out, and I like him well enough now.. But, yea, go the the album for the toy show, and DAMN, yea... the War Within Prime and Megs.. gotta get those.

If it's true, I can see why Hasbro's milking the molds for all they can (referring to new repaints..) I'm sure if the line's to continue on, they'll need to compensate for the lack of Takara's business.

Mirage is pretty neat, and Prime is... tolerable... I'll reserve judgement on rumble until I see the mold... still praying they don't make the thing transform like a goddamn cracked egg.

The poor resale on Mustangs is kind of a double-edged sword, since on one hand they suck as invetsments or if you're trying to resell your car but on the other hand you can get a very fast car for relatively little money. 365206[/snapback] *Nods* The 94-98 GT's are all over the place here, and most can be had for 5K or less. And it has passed the true test of affordability...lots of the local college kids are driving them. A little more news: Apparently, the next few alternators are as follows: - Some Jaguar - Caddy XLR With Rumble being a decep, it wouldn't surprise me if the XLR turned out to be Megatron. I don't know why, but such an angular car would ALMOST fit the bot.

I was REALLY skeptical regarding Mirage when I first saw his uncolored proto, but now.. woah. OH, another piece of news... According to Hasbro UK, the next alt will be based on a Jaguar (at least, among Euro releases.)

THAT's what scares me. Artist conceptions often look better than final results because intentionally or not they can cheat with scale or how well everything fits or accidentally throw in some more articulation than the final design allows. Maybe we're lucky and it's just the current favorite design out of two or three potential ones and somebody will pick one of the others. 364506[/snapback] This is true...
