Nice work! It's nice to read this step by steps. I picked up a lot of good tips and they also made me realise how many tools I'm missing I'll have to save up for some scribing tools and perhaps an airbrush. ChaosWarrior

A few somewhat better pics I guess Close-up VF-17S Battroid. No ugly stickers, ugly painting instead and fighter. VF-19 KAI? Still need his head and fighter. Last but not least, or rather the first macross valkyrie I ever built. I think it's 20 years (if possible) since I bought it. Next kit - well... possibly a Colossal Mantis diorama. Thanks! Yes, I bought 2 of them and regret I didn't buy the other ones as well at an auction. I think the price was rather fair, about $8 each. I'll try to take better pics when they're ready. If I don't get things right I borrow another camera or let someone else take the shoots. ChaosWarrior

I've finally managed to take a picture (me an my camera had some arguments ) worth showing. It's my VF-17S in fighter and battroid mode (not ready yet) I post some more when I've finished both this and the VF-19 I'm building. ChaosWarrior

Hi! I've just bought myself two 1/144 kits. One VF-17S Stealth and VF-19 Fire. They seem simple enough, though it's been a while (10 years or more) since I last built a model. So I thought I'd warm up a bit There's a slight problem, although these kits are easy to assemble, I don't read Japanese (I think it is). Is the stealth model supposed to be black? It's moulded black, but on the box it is painted dark blue with lighter blue details. On the instructions it looks black. I'll be thankful for any help with this. Btw. I've read all 40 pages and looked att all the very nice pictures (phew). I feel a slight envy If I can figure out how to take good pictures with my new camera and how to add them here, I will.
