  1. Good Lord, I just hope he took some acting lessons.............................
  2. I just checked it up againt the 1s and the 1a 1/48 head and it is actually the same size for the most part
  3. Ok, here is the deal, I am making a bunch of new molds for some other stuff and I have a couple of the Chris Barretta 1d heads. I have some space to throw it into a mold to make some recasts. I NEVER make copies of Macrossworlders original work, however I know that some people have been trying to contact Chris about the 1d head and were unable to contact him. I would ONLY do this for marginal $ (enough for material and shipping) as i do not want to profit from others work, and ONLY with some clear consensus from you guys that it is OK at this point. If people have a problem with it, I WILL NOT DO IT. Basically, I would like to do it as a favor to the customizers who are unable to get the heads at this point. Please let me know your opinion.
  4. I got my 1/48 fast packs in 12 days, however I live close to New York City, and I know it does depend alot on how much mail goes through your part of the country.
  5. For the back problem, I would imagine that the spring that is under the tab that connects to the nose it either missing, or worn, if you can find a small spring at a hardware store you should be able to fix it easily. For the landing gear poping the clip that keeps it from poping most likely has a rounded edge, rather than a nice flat one, you can either try to find some replacements or try to file it down a bit so the gear does not slip. Good luck.
  6. Awesome work J. I am still first and formost a lover of the 1/55 custom. I got one of my own in the works right now (I mean right now, as I sit here!), first one I am doing for myself in like 2 years, a 1s max nontransformable strike. Love the paint job, now I have to go with that paint job for my next vt1 custom. AWWWSOME!!

It's not a website but you can checkout some of my stuff in my yahoo folder http://photos.yahoo.com/salzo22000
  8. That will do it, I used the 3 minute stuff when I first started and will never use it again, you may want to cut that 100 I said down to 60 seconds but do it briskly and make sure to scrap the sides. Watch those eyes when stirring briskly.
  9. You may not be stirring it enough, I always count to 100 slowly when mixing resin (are you using the 3 minute one?) I always use the 305, allows a little more time. Also be sure you are mixing the right proportions, when I use the 305 I always pour the resin from the yellow into the resin from the blue bottle (measured of course)the reason is that the yellow has a lower viscosity and will not end up "clinging" to the vehicle from which you are pouring it and messing up the proportions. It may cure, but it may not. Good luck
  10. Looks like Yamato would do well to release some GBP armor.......anyone.....anyone........
  11. I just sold mine for $105.00 average condition
  12. That first auction looks like its for 24 of those clones, even with the shipping (if I figured it out right) it's only $8.95 each. I don't know why anyone would want 24 of those, but hey...........
  13. Way..Way before the reissues were even anounced I paid $140.00 for a joons vf1j in the box, at the time that really was just about the going rate, in fact I lost an auction the day before I won the forementioned joons, for a joons WITH A JETFIRE NOSE, for $110.00. Unreal. I paid $90.00 for the TRU 1a and later got another for $45.00.
  14. The way that I get it to last longer and work it better is.... #1 squeeze out some into a resealable small container, I use little plastic paint jars I get at the art store for 19 cents each #2 thin it a little with acetone, this also makes it easier to brush on and keeps your hands off the stuff. #3 put the cap on tight and throw the tube in a zip lock bag. hope this helps......
  15. 1/72=2 1/60=12 1/48=2
  16. I still think it's pretty cool for $4.00 especially with a heat sheild
  17. Is that a pic of the 1/48 Yamato on the bottom of the package?
