  1. By request a couple with some 1/48's, all other pics are on page 1 with 1/55's, 1/60's, and 1/72nds if you have not seen them. mike
  2. That's a 1/55 custom Valk...
  3. Updated the first post to include ordering instructions. thanks mike
  4. A couple with 1/72nd Tomahawk and a 1/72nd HCM, last one is with a 1/55 custom....
  5. Bunch of pics with 1/60's, pics with 1/72nds and ordering info coming this afternoon...keep in mind these were painted up very quick and dirty just to show it off a bit, you guys should be able to do a much better job, add more detail, hoses etc.... thanks mike
  6. The angled wall extension can also be installed flat and adds about 3 1/4 inches to the height of the wall, you can add some thick styrene on top of that to get the height you want. However i am not sure how a 1/48 would look with the door detail..... Pics in a couple of hours of a quick and dirty build up.... thanks mike
  7. I'm doing a quick paint up of a full set up tonight/tomorrow and will take pics of everything together then, likely tomorrow afternoon. Once that is done i will start taking orders, so by thursday friday i will start taking orders..... thanks mike
  8. Mods, hope it's Ok to start a new thread, I don't want this getting lost in the other long thread, and this is to show off the finished product. See below on for pics of a quick and dirty build with some Mecha in scales form 1/55-1/72. Panels can be assembled in a number of configurations, floor panels can be flipped either way, so can the sidewall panel, the wall extension panel can be installed flat or angled, gantry can be built with our without the extensions, this was made so you can pick and choose what you would like to do with it depending on what you want to display on it. You should expect some minor fitting depending on how you want to put the parts together. Decals are not included, the white lettering you see is vinyl letters from Michaels, $4.00 will get you more than you need. The shelf you see is a standard sized Lack shelf from Ikea approx 10 1/2x 42 inches, runs about $14.00 at Ikea and you could fit up to 3 full panels across. For Macross purposes i would say this is suitable for 1/55-1/72 scale, for Gundam etc, i am not sure but any Mecha that is in the 6"-12" tall ballpark should look good. PM or email me at salzo1@aol.com with your order using the A,B,C,D for the panels or Gantry for the set, let me know how many of each you would like. Shipping is not included in the prices and final shipping will be determined by your location and the weight of your total order, i will email or PM you back a total price with shipping. thanks mike
  9. Hey everyone, i will get some measurements of the kit soon, as i am doing a build up of the one for myself/test build. I poured the last 2 molds today that i needed to get the basic kit going. It will take a couple of days for those to set up in the cold weather, then i will get some castings to build up and show it off. I will likely start a new thread to show the built painted one, along with some ordering info... thanks mike
  10. Each component will have an individual price that is determined mostly by the amout of material and or time to cast, that being said it will still come to about $100.00 for a full set with a floor, backwall, detail set, gantry, and side wall. Figure shipping to be about $10-$12 bucks in the US for a full set... It will breakdown by panels A, B, C etc , a detail set, and the gantry set. I think this works well because you will not need to buy duplicates of parts you done need, i.e. if you only wanted 1 gantry set for 2 floor panels etc.... thanks mike
  11. Quick update, with the exception of 2 or 3 small parts all the molds are done for the first set.. Also, i am finally almost caught up on other casting obligations. I will be shooting to start taking orders for the first sets of this in approx 2 weeks..... thanks mike
  12. Do you mean a representation of what the interior of the launch arm bay would look like?
  13. If i wind up kitting the VF-1 the first thing i would want to do is get the basic VF-1 up and running to allow for the lowest price point for people who want one, from there i would like to start addding the super armor etc....I don't know how many people would want a VF-1 let alone the Elintseeker in that scale, but it's something i would look into......
  14. Cranky spots are still available, i guess i should start a running 2nd run list in the thread, the price will likely be about $275.00 + shipping (about $20.00 fedex in the usa) that includes the decals. Thats only $25.00 more than the last run due to resin cost, increase. I will look into the VA-3 if John is not going to do it, I have a number of "dream" macross projects, the SDF-1 in a large scale is one of them, but the one that i am most motivated about right now is a 1/24 scale VF-1, I know not another VF1 but right now i have been feeling i need to focus on getting on a project that i am really motivated about, otherwise they seem to fall to the wayside...plus i may have help with the VF1 project so all the scratchbuilding would not be left up to me alone, moving the project along faster..... mike
  15. First casting of the backwall with door, need to add a couple of vents to get it to come up just right but i am happy with it. This is a hunk of resin!!
  16. In all likelyhood it will be spring before i can get to cast the last run of these, casting time in the winter is limited and i have some other stuff that needs to be cast up before these, including the factory. I am spending the down time on some scratch build projects, 2 non macross, and 1 BIG macross scratchbuild that if there is enough interest in will be a kit.......
  17. First castings of the main gantry parts.....
  18. Test cast of the gantry went well today, i will post some pics tomorrow....Floor mold is done, backwall mold is done, some additional detail part molds are done, poured the sidewall mold this evening, so just a couple of more molds to go and i will have a full set for the basic set. Pics coming soon....
  19. Worked on this here and there while i was waiting for the casting shop to warm up, it's the SS ROTJ AT ST from Nice-N-Models, i cast the legs and feet for Steve on this project....still needs some hoses hooked up but is pretty much done... mike
  20. Started pouring a couple of molds yesterday, all the parts for the very basic set is ready for molds but it will still be a couple of weeks before all the molds will be ready i need to fit them in with some other stuff i am catching up on. I think i will be selling these as a set price for each panel, as well as couple of different detail sets, it will be easier for you guys to customize what panels you want. They will be easy to order, for example there will be floor panel 1 coded F1 for your order, sidepanel 1 or 2 coded S1 or S2 and so on... Once i get a better idea of how much material goes into each part i will come up with a per panel price and a per detail set price... thanks mike
  21. This was designed to be multiscale, and multigenre (ie gundam etc), as well as easy to put together for folks who are not usually modelbuilders....i think it would look really good with the 1/60's, in fact i want to display my 1/60's with it when i finish...
  22. Hey everyone, i just pulled all the parts out yesterday and i really want to finish this up in the next couple of months, the pattern is just about done but i need to fit the molding and casting into my schedule somehow. I have lots of neat ideas for additional details that will become available if i can get around to it. I am sorry for the delay, i have been just non-stop for about 2 years now and it's amazing how fast time goes when you are busy like that. I really am looking towards getting back to some Macross realated projects when i can, unique stuff, in big scales if people are looking to that..... mike
