  1. You missed it I think. Or maybe they talked about it at TFW2005. I can't remember. Either way HURRY YOU MUST LET US KNOW HOW YOUR MEETING WENT!
  2. I tried to take it and add my one CF to the list but it said my name was invalid or some such.
  3. And what about G1 Megatron? Galvatron or G2 Megatron would work, but G1 Megatron would be out of the question just like Soundwave and co. Blaster and his cassettes would be gone. Perceptor would be a no go. You know what I just realized after all of this time? Thundercracker and Skywarp aren't in the movie. I can't believe I didn't realize that earlier. Damnit.
  4. I've got a Cannon Fodder myself. I was thinking of jumping on the Stealth, but I think I'm going to hold myself back. If I stick to canon paint schemes I will end up saving myself alot of money... But the Stealth is so pretty! I don't know what to do!
  5. You've got... Hikaru VF-1J Super Max Super Milia Stealth Only Hikaru's and the Stealth are in your price range. Super Max and Super Milia and Super Hikaru are all quite expensive right now and are only found on eBay for the most part. Many people want a re-release of those this year or the next, so you may want to wait and see how Graham's meeting with Yamato went. I believe that occured today. Your best bet if you just want a VF to tie you over is the Stealth. If you don't care about the fast packs you can get the normal Stealth for about $130 shipped if you live in the US.
  6. Yeah, oops. He's larger than 1/48 scale. Truck mode is huge when compared to the Valkyrie fighter mode.
  7. Masterpiece Convoy is pretty darn close to 1/48 scale. He looks great displayed next to the 1/48 Valk. That's how I have mine right now.
  8. Stay away. I originally posted a link to their site for you. Unfortunately, they are on the MW blacklist now for screwing quite a few people over. STAY AWAY!
  9. Seems about right since it includes the Fast Packs and such. Cheaper than I thought! Max is a sure buy for me if he is re-released.
  10. Ahhh, G2 Prime with the noisebox and the black trailer. Up until a few months ago the box still made the noises. I've gotta try and replace the batteries and see if it works again. And yes, Hugo Weaving as Megatron would be awesome. If he doesn't get Megatron, I hope he gets one of the Decepticons. Awesome patent info on U.N.C.L.E./Megs/whatever as well!
  11. I'm relatively new here, so I'm wondering... what were the prices of Super Max/Milia/Hikaru when they were first released?
  12. Ah. I wasn't sure if that list was constantly updated or not. That settles that. And yeah sorry for the hijack quattro... but at least now you know where to look for a Valk.
  13. Ah, too bad about Twin Moons. It's a good thing you showed up. I wouldn't want the guy getting screwed out of quite a large chunk of change. How about ActionHQ? That's where I got my Valk from. Problem is they were slow and a little pricey. Are they on the blacklist as well? The SS and Blacklist threads are HUGE.
  14. Interesting. Well, then I wouldn't go with tisinc. I hadn't seen that post before even though it is very recent. I've heard nothing but good things about LAFToys, I'd order from them. Thanks for the link, btw! I may have to pick up some Fast Packs. What about Twin Moons? I've heard guys talk about them. I've never been to their site, though.
  15. Forget what I said.
  16. 1/60 would be closer to MP Screamer scale. I prefer the 1/48 VF-1 myself, but I've only seen Robotech and the original Macross/DYRL. It's all about personal preference. Just buy whichever VF you like the best.
  17. *head explodes*
  18. If you read the thread at TFW2005, Hugo Weaving is apparently also in the running for Megatron. At least he was two weeks ago. We shall see. "You humans are a virus." "It's over... Mr. Prime."
  19. I'm just going to chime in and echo what many other people have said... Where the heck are the reissues of the Super Max and Milia?
  20. I said "the show, that is". I know that the toys came from Diaclone/Microman and all of the other assorted Japanese and Korean companies. Megatron was designed to look like the weapons used in "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.", a TV show from the sixties. Anyway, here's the tripod that was mentioned above. There's a different version where he is black instead of silver. I'm not sure if that was the original or not. http://www.tfw2005.com/gallery/showphoto.p...oto/826/cat/676
  21. I'm digging the fighter mode. The black head... I dunno. It just looks more plain to me than anything else.
  22. Heh, I was going to point him to your site. After all you pointed me here.
  23. True, true. He eventually gets Roy's VF-1S though, so why not get the best of both worlds? Hikaru's is kind of blah. White with red stripes! I suppose you could say the same thing about my beloved cannon fodder.
  24. I went for the VF-1A myself because it was (and may still be) the cheapest option for the 1/48. Plus I love the Cannon Fodder. I'd recommend the CF VF-1A or Roy's VF-1S. Both are fairly iconic in my opinion.
  25. I agree. Part of what made Robotech bearable was the cheesy synth music. I love that stuff.
