Welcome! You've got a nice effect going, really. Only two things I can see need fixing. One is you've got some seams going on by the legs. Two is the consistency of the weathering. It seems heavier from the torso up, I'd add more to the legs and panel lines. Also, since you've got a really good battle effect going on, maybe add a few scratches/gouges, or even some bulletholes!

I'm going with Toynami, as I already was stupid enough to buy the other MPC's, but I might pick up Megahouse as well just to play with.

Well, I was a Transformers/Gundam fan who became very bored with the franchises. Then, I got into robotech searching for something new after vaguely remembering it as a child (I remember owning a 1/55 1S as a child) and bought all the MPC's, DVD's, etc. Then, after getting REALLY sick of the elitist @$$holes on that site, I began looking for new sites to call home. That's how I found this site. After joining, I learned of the differences between RT and Macross, and how much of an inferior product RT was. So I'm actually very indebted to this site. The funny thing is I've been an anime fan for a really long time, and have owned Macross Plus forever (since it was out on VHS in the mid-late 90's) and never made the connection between Plus, Macross, and RT. I guess I have a lot of people to thank on here for educating me, and showing me that there was a lot more to the Macross universe, like Yamato stuff (although given the cost I'm not sure if it's a blessing or curse).

I'm a big Bandai geek, Gundams, EVA's, etc....never had a problem with any of them. I just wish they'd do more models outside of Gundam.

I'd like to see high and lower end valks. Maybe some large ones that are 200, and maybe smaller ones in the 20-50 range. I just hope Hasegawa makes kits for these, as I've been itching to see them make a new battroid kit, and it's been a LONG time.

Your not alone, every time I swear off toys, Yamato or Bandai has to screw me up. I just can't break this Gundam Fix addiction. Actually, at risk of being verbally slaughtered, I'm impressed with Toynami's 1/100 line as well.

At risk of getting blasted here, this pisses me off to no end. We can get the entire SDF series dubbed, but we can't get a 2 hour movie dubbed?! What kind of crap is that?!

I started putting together the 1/60 Strike Freedom Lightning, and to my horror it didn't come with the TP2(body)screws! I emailed bandai with no luck, so I decided to try to find them myself. Is there anyone that can give me the size (Metric or standard), length of the screws, and whether they're fine or coarse thread? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Agreed. Aside from the brief yet excellent movie line and the one or two great figures from Armada/Energon/Cybertron/Classics, nothing since RID compares, and it's yet another line to ignore.

Gloval: George Carlin Minmay: The nerdy chick from Mallrats Lisa: Carrie fisher (for old perverse reasons) Then you could round out the Zentradei: breetai: The guy who played Dante Khyron: The guy who played Randall And various cameos by the others who appeared in the films. Depends. If it's a one off movie...subs are cool. If it's a multi part or series, I have to say I choose dubs. But then, I agree it depends on the voices. I remember watching crying freeman and it sounded like they were reading straight off the pages. However, take for instance Akira, D, or Ghost in the Shell and it's cool. I know it's blasphemy, but I didn't even bother with Macross and only watched Robotech until SDF came out in dub. I agree, it's a lot better. I enjoyed Zero as well, but still wouldn't mind seeing a dub of it or DYRL for that matter.

I'd love to see a VF-0S done in an F-14 scheme, with the sharkmouth and all. Great way to pay tribute to the plane that gave us valks as we know them. Black goes with anything...so I agree with the stealth choice as well. Maybe a metallic silver/chromish one as well...

I'd rather mark my calendar with the release of all the stupid figures I didn't buy/couldn't find the first time around. Damn you Ironhide!

My 360 was NEVER vertical and it died...

Just a quick question for the Ring of death victims. I just sent mine off to get "fixed" yesterday. About how long does it take, and will they actually fix it or will I be mailing it off AGAIN in a couple months?
