I just bought gundam astray, astray R, and astray X for less than 2 dollars each. I thought that was a pretty good deal, considering they were brand new.

I'm not feeling sorry for him, just using him as an example. As I said, he can fend for himself. I know he's not the only one to go through that, I'm just saying no one here should have to.

Yeah, but it's not so much meant to complain as it is to state that apparently we ALL (who are active members) need to take a good long hard look at ourselves individually and collectively. I'm sorry, but poor EXO was getting baited and harassed. That's not right. People added input into that thread, and it was constructive, but he really didn't deserve to be treated like that. Nobody does, and had it been the other way around, I'd say the same thing. Having differences of opinion are one thing, but to REPEATEDLY go after one person, mod or not, is wrong. I'm not trying to stick up for him, he's already shown he can do that himself. However, it's still wrong. Maybe I'm getting holier than thou on a soapbox, but it's just rediculous. No one deserves aggravation when they're on a HOBBY site, member or mod. I don't really view this as the same thing, it's not adding to a fire. I'm just calling people on their own BS, to take a long hard look at themselves on here (mods and members), and what this site really means to them. For me, it's a way to talk to people I have something in common with, drool over mecha porn, and get away from my sorry little life for a little bit. It just seems so stupid to drag conflict into a place you come to escape from that stuff. It was just a rant from an insignificant member of 3 years with under 1000 posts.

I'd like to preface by saying this is my favorite site, and the only one I post on. I owe this site a lot. I've met so many cool people, got some really good deals on stuff, and not only discovered Macross but other unrelated anime's, toys/models, etc. just by being here. Now, I'll admit Macross isn't my favorite anime series or hobby, I'm more into Gundam myself. And this site gives me more opportunities to talk about Gundam than even most Gundam forums. Pretty classy of the owners to even allow off macross topic chatter, let alone so much off macross topics like Tf's, GiJoe, Neon gen, etc. I used to love this site, and I still do, but I'm seeing trends I don't like. These trends are: An entire long running thread about objections to a members permaban A thread that was only designed as a feeble attempt to passive aggresively bait a mod A tattletale thread about a mods comment about fast food cuisine Now, this has gotten out of hand. I'm no mod, just a DISGUSTED member at this point. I'm disgusted in certain fellow members BS crusade to fight Macrossworld injustice. I mean, this is a toy and cartoon forum. How f***ing hard is it to keep it about toys and damn cartoons?! What the hell do you think your fighting against?! All you're doing is making people uncomfortable, and running crap off at the mouth. At first, I threw my two cents in and didn't care. Then, rather than lock the thread, the mods left it open in good faith to allow discussion and debate. That got abused. Then, I see poor EXO get harassed, and although it was, as I mentioned, passive agressive BS, he stood up and responded, even to the point where he was obviously getting upset. Man, leave him alone and let him do his job. Maybe it's hard to imagine, but there are PEOPLE posting these responses and topics. This is not a way to treat people, especially people that have come together on here because of a common interest. We're supposed to be friends on here, right? At the very least, respect each other, and keep it simple. It's all about cartoons and toys, not personal drama, vendettas, and BS. It's not about politics. I'm sorry, and feel free to lock this thread, but I'm so damn fed up...

Well, I did notice V2 Firefly looks just like Resolute Firefly, I don't know why the hell they would make Duke and not Snake eyes. Lame. Although I just got back from the store and found all the Resolute stuff. I missed out on the 25th except for a couple figs and vehicles, and there's too much to go back and get now, so I'm just going to stick with Resolute only. I ended up buying the comic packs (The joes rock, but Destro and SS suck!), CC, 5 cobra troops, Duke, and 3 Resolute packs. It was a nice touch having the red troops in the cartoon though, now I don't just think they're lame repaints. Not to hot on the BAT though, I liked the original more. Not bad though. I don't suppose anyone here can hook me up with a V2 Firefly at less than ebay costs? Oh yeah, and please let them make a resolute HISS, that looked awesome!

The thing that kills me though is that certain people act like the mods owe them an explanation, and they don't. They just did they're job, the job they agreed to do. I'm sure every cop has had to arrest someone they didn't want to arrest. Hell, I was arrested once and the cop flat out told me if he could he'd let me out of the car right there, unfortunately for me, I broke the law by fighting in a bar brawl, and even though it was 2 on 1, and even though I gave one guy stitches and another lost 4 front teeth and got pretty banged up myself and broke my hand, I still broke the law. I didn't even start it, but that didn't matter. Wisconsin doesn't have self defense laws, so it's black and white. I fought, I went to jail, I paid the 250 dollar ticket for DC fighting, that was the end of it. I didn't like it, but I accepted it. Most of us are mature enough to accept the consequences of our actions. Anyhow, the point is that I'm sure the mods don't enjoy banning and pissing off members, but sometimes, they have no choice. It's what they must do to preserve the order of this site. If not, people would be ripping each other off, flaming and getting downright nasty, not to mention the worst of it: Without the mods regulation, how many repeat topics, more importantly, how many f***ing ROBOTECH topics would we see on here? Think about it.

Ok, I had a couple problems with resolute. I watched it all, and I had a big problem with Zartan and Storm Shadow. I don't want to wreck it for anyone who hasn't seen it, but those who have no what I mean. I also had a problem with Flint resembling a really stupid Keanu Reeves, as well as Destro and Baroness being reduced to little more than comic relief. Overall, it was enjoyable. Does anyone know if they plan on making anymore episodes, or figures for that matter?

What scale are the Revoltech valks about? Also, is the regult in scale with the rest of them, and is Gnu in scale with them?

Because rules are rules. And that works on 2 fronts: 1. Why should he be exempt from the spamming rules, while the rest of the membership is subject to them? I don't care if he has ADD/Hyperactivity/Immaturity, whatever. This isn't a spamming forum. I'm not one to be wordy, some of my posts are short, but the topic needs to at least address the main subject, not eugimon's pants, and CERTAINLY not that awful ninja smiley we all got REALLY F***ING sick of seeing. The mods should remove that smiley permanently, I know I've had my fill. 2. If Ryno was willing to show a BLATANT disregard for the spamming rules, multi account rules, who's to say he wouldn't have broken more serious rules down the road? Conjecture maybe, but I think at this point it favors the mods side of the arguement. Like I said in an earlier post, let him rot in the Robotech forums. He knew the rules, knew he was breaking them, let him suffer. I think all the people who KNEW (not suspected) that he was Ryno deserve to be punished as well. If for no other reason than that is undermining not just the mods, but the site rules. You undermine the site rules, you undermine the site itself.

I smell a Fire and blazer valk...I said I was done buying Yamato, but I may have to buy the Sturmvogel, since I never got the 21 and this looks much cooler.

I remember Rockhound built one of these in the build/custom thread and he got a really great shade of blue. Search that thread and you'll find it.

Aside from G-saviour, I like anything Gundam, even Wing. I agree the UC stuff got a bit played out. They need to spread the timeline out further. I mean, it all takes place in such a small window. Honestly, right now my favorite universe right now is Seed (ducks). I hope they stay with it, it's a nice loose reboot of UC, and hopefully a chance to fix the mistakes of UC, and I think Kira is a much more likable character than Amuro. Personally, I had the worst trouble with G gundam. It was hard to watch, I'm not into the whole Dragonball/tounament thing. It's a shame too, I thought the main Mecha like God, Dragon, Maxter, Master and Speigel were pretty cool designs.

I hope they take a split second to decide once and for all the fate of Amuro and Char. I mean, we know they died in CC, but they never really set it in stone, I hope they do finally. To be honest, I'd like to see Amuro die and Char survive. I haven't read any of the Unicorn novels, and I know very little about it. I know it happens after CC and before F91, right? Are the Titans around in Unicorn?

Am I jumping the gun here, or can I add the new Star Trek movie to the list? I mean, I haven't seen it, but come on, you know it's gonna be bad.

You know, this whole spamming thing wouldn't be a problem if they just removed the stupid post counts from the display. It's nothing but a pissing contest. I may not have that high of a post count, but that's because I only post where I want to, when I feel I have some solid input to the topic, or questions. I mean, make the post count display only in the profile page. I've been here for 3+ years, but I visit this site EVERY day. Just because I don't have something to say all the time doesn't mean I'm not a "regular" member. Misterryno did it to himself, and me too unfortunately. I was talking to him (unknowingly) about his Strike Valk, and was close to a deal. I hadn't paid anything yet, and I'm not going to ask the mods to allow me to complete the deal for 2 reasons: 1. I felt bad for the seller "macross1979 aka Ryno", who seemed pretty desparate and thought I'd help him out. 2. Even though I'm out a deal on the Strike valk, allowing him to complete the deal goes against his entire banning. I don't expect EXO or anyone else to allow this for my sake. I'd rather be out a valk and have the principles of Macworld and it's leadership remain intact. Rules are rules. I'll get more valks, hopefully he doesn't get more accounts. I never had anything personal against Ryno, I thought he was pretty inane, and it irked the hell out of me that he'd derail genuine topics about Mac stuff, but he gets what's coming to him. I hope the mods take this into account when they think about whether to release his ban. Let him rot on the Robotech forums for all I care, he did it to himself. I can't believe the outrage over his banning. I mean, compare this set of mods to the ones on other sites. These guys are pretty laid back. I'm sure it wasn't easy for them to do this, and everyone getting pissed off about it doesn't help them I'm sure. So that being said, can we please just lock this thread and get it over with. Just let it die, people.

I come in peace 6. Demolition man However, the all time worst sci-fi film, if it qualifies, is (drum roll).... Masters of the Universe (1987). Never have I seen such a travesty. And they say Top Gun has a lot of repressed homosexuality? Basically, I hate Dolph Lundgren. Even Universal Soldier...I hate him. I'm glad Rocky kicked his ass, and I hate Sly Stallone as well.

My 2 year old son likes Gundam. I bought him Gundam plushies, and he loves them. Other than that, he has a few of those Bumper Battler TF's. He actually says "Gundam" and "Bumblebee". I figure I'll try Macross when he's about 4. My 9 year old daughter used to help me build Gundam kits, and watched RT (SDF was a little too adultish). But, now other than being obssessed with TF animated she's too cool and dad's too lame to help me with Gundam kits. Funny story, we were in the car and I was listening to Nine Inch Nails and she said "Dad, turn this off, it's old people music..." I almost cried.

Too bad they can't make a Cable and Deadpool movie... I'm sure they could, but it would be so bastardized who'd want to see it? Of course, while I'm wishing, why not ask for an Age of Apocalypse movie, and Xtintction Agenda or xecutioners song that's true to the comic. You know the sad thing is that the mutant franchise could still be saved, X factor would make an interesting movie, either the Havok led years (Random would be awesome!), or better yet, the more recent Madrox years. Oh wait, they ruined Madrox in 3...Dammit! And he's my favorite mutant...I actually quit reading comics for a while after they killed him in the Legacy virus story.

Yeah, I know. Cap...maybe, it has potential, more for the Red Skull. But Thor?! Thor sucks!!! I've always HATED Thor, and my personal opinion aside, no one can say that while maybe it worked 40 years ago, Thor now is just flat out CORNY as hell.
