Well, what's inside the Hasbro version has had just about all the things that were uber cool with Takara version stripped out,i.e. all the diecast, metallic paint, and will probably require stickers =/

I like the plane well enough, but I would have to keep it in the fighter mode for me, don't like the battloid version too much.

I'd want both, but if I had to choose one, the 1A just seems right for that valk, to me anyway.

Nah, no amount patience could make me order from HLJ again until they provide some better options for shipping. It is either an outrageous amount, or a just hope it gets there sometime delivery. Either one is not a choice I'm willing to make. So I'll stick to getting my models and toys else where.

Yes, is there is one small difference, other than the obvious number and driver name differences. It is the small logo on the the rear view mirrors of the # 7 car that are not on the #8. You can see it clrearly in madmacks pics. Here is the pic of the #7 & #8: As for the diecast content, I can't help you there because I didn't bother to read up on the Hasbro version, but the Takara version has plenty of die cast for me, and no stickers.
