I want to see what these heads look like... is it really just a Bandai head for a Yamato? And for the love of God may I never ask again on this website if anyone knows whats up and coming from Yamato.

Okay here's an off-topic question. If you take into consideration that all VFs have miniature nuclear reactors powering them... wouldn't they cause a huge mushroom cloud explosion when they get hit instead of the little 1 second orange bubble-pops?

Here's my two cents --- I bought this movie for the helluvit at a game crazy store as soon as it got released. It was the last copy available, and I had no idea what it was but I had money to burn so I bought it. My wife likes it even better than I do, but man, I wish they'd come out with more movies like this. Screw the story, I didn't really need one with so much eye candy flying around. That's a sad thing to say coming from someone who used to be a screen-writing major in college, but I just can't help it. Cloud - I'm not sure who the hell you are but Geezus I hope I never piss you off!

I hope this thread can accomplish something for many of us. Okay! What I'd like to know, is what is definitely on the horizon toy-wise. What is Yamato going to release in the next year? Can we expect a re-release of Max's 1J with fast pack, or is this just a wish we all have? Is Isamu's valk going to be made in a 1/60 scale for certain? And since it's obvious we can expect a VF-ZERO-A at some point, how far along is this going to be? I want to start saving NOW for the day I know I'll freak out and say "OH MY GOSH I HAVE TO HAVE THAT!" What I, and maybe others would like to know for certain, is, what we should start saving for. (And how many of them!) Thanks to anyone who can help with this. I could probably search around the forums for hours to find a few references to answer these questions, but I'd rather just have all of it on one single thread. Again I repeat, thanks to all who can help.

On that note... did anyone ever customize the low viz 1 to have a different head?

Thank you jonwayne! I appreciate the advice. Also --- tomorrow I'll be posting pics of a little bit of paint removing that I did tonight. It should help convince the non believers. BUT --- do NOT use this stuff on clear plastic. I can't stress it enough. It put cracks in my heat shield. (But it sure got rid of the paint!) And beware of frosting up your GBP. Other than that, it does wonders. Tonight I just used Q-tips and slight pressure to get paint off of a valk leg. It was a cynch!

Hey! If I'd never bought this game years ago I'd never have even learned what Macross was! Hats off to this game in my book.

ALSO -- don't use this paint remover on GBP armor. It gives a perma-frost. If someone knows how to get rid of the perma-frost phenomena, please let me know!

(and if you really want to rip the game a new one do this trick with split second ammo refills for the pod and fast refills for the missiles)

Well, you might actually know of it to be honest. First you do the trick to allow every color scheme/valk to be selectable when you start a new game. When you get to your first space mission, make sure you start over so you can select a new paint scheme if you want, and also the fast pack. When you beat the level, the next level you play you'll still have the fastpack. In fact, if you keep continuing you can play through the entire game with the fastpack. But, if you choose a different color scheme or different type of valk you'll lose your pack. BUT - all you have to do is play a space mission and then continue to have the fastpack -- and keep it --- as long as you keep continuing.

ALSO - -- I believe it would be cool to have Kakizake's valk. And I WILL make one in the future, but for now... I think I'm gonna' have to make me a TV Max. So far the only Max I have is a 1S from DYRL and I think he's about my fave character period... so I really want his TV 1A! I'm going to try and make it look like "Die Alien Scum!"'s TV Max. I've already started askin' him for tips. My immediate goal is to have a valk replica from everything Max was piloting when he kicked Milia's ass. (1A, 1S) My EVENTUAL goal, in the next one million years, is to have a valk to stand up next to all of my super poseables. Since I have the full set of super poseables... this will be costly. But I like the cartoony look of the SP's standing next to a near perfect replica of what the valk would look like in real life. I've also thought of doing this with banprestos... or the new 1/100 scale toynamis. (Did banpresto ever make a TV max 1a?)

Please make it available for nonprofit purchase!!!!! Or atleast downloadable and keepable.

I wonder if I could repaint a 1A or 1S head and put that ontop of the stealth valk...

I have only one VF1A, and it's a CF. SO. I want to use my spare 1/48 parts to construct a custom 1A. Should I make it a TV Max, or TV Kakizake? Or is there something even better? Advice please! By the way, this'll leave me with one extra hikaru 1J head. Maybe someone would want to trade something for it. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

You can cheat on Battlecry and use the fastpacks in every mission... just not the GBP, which SUCKS.

I can't wait for the new 1/100 scales! Those will be so cool! But either way, I still own every super poseable toynami came out with. And I mean every single one. *complete set baybee!* I think they look way cool. Too bad they're all packed away in a box now.

MY question is this now: How can we get ahold of the exact same paint yamato uses? What exactly are they using? Would they sell some?

hahaha! nice. OKAY EVERYBODY. I finally made up my mind. I just bought the lowviz super stealth offa' ebay. I think those things look absolutely awesome, and the one I got was the last one I could find. I'm going to assume that given time, these things will be extremely expensive, so I'm glad I bought it now, instead of crying 6 months from now when the same thing costs 600 dollars. strike stealth! yay! now if they re-release maxw/super I'm gonna' puke.

BUT - if they reissue max 1J with fast pack then I'll kick myself so hard I'll taste my foot from up my colon. And if they come out with a VF-0A, my foot will come OUT my mouth from my colon.

I just came into a lil' bit of dough. SO. Now I've hit the hard spot. I'm addicted to macross crap, so what should I get? Should I wait and get the VF0A when it eventually is released?
