1. You wouldn't really have to do any pairings though, with cloning...?
2. Cool! I'll wait for 0 to drop as well and pick it up. I'm totally behind on what's cool for console.
3. Then the monkeys could fling spiritia at them. See, it's just like my colon thing.
4. Damn! This is a dark day. Heck, fill me in on the details, and I could have a friend of mine do it for you, or my brother in law. Or I could just hook you up directly with them, I'm 100% sure they could do it as one works with computer animation and the other is a film/tv editor/producer-type-thing. They both watch anime, they'd be happy to help. 'Course I'd have to ask first. Anyway, let me know if you'd like me to help, I'd be glad to lend assistance!
5. I think Spiritia is kind of like pressure from your colon that an alien race has found a way to utilize as a gas once released. It's just that human colons produce more gas than any other species the protodevilin have encountered, so they're after our colons and Basara realizes that if he keeps trying he can create enough gas to satisfy the aliens, and even human beings once they realize that colons bring us together and create harmony. - Some might say musicians like Basara have overproductive colons.
6. That is seriously cool, Jenius. Damn! I want Macross plus stuff so bad I can taste it... I just can't afford it. Isamu has my freaking last NAME and I don't own even one freaking GASHAPON valk of his. You are my new idol.
7. In December can I buy a MacZero dubbed DVD from you??? Pretty please? *get on knees and begs* HIKURO YOU ARE GOD PLEASE HOOK ME UP!
8. So how often did they battle the PD in an atmosphere compared to space? Very rarely. Basara uses it mainly against fighter pilots, as they DO show up often in atmosphere. Maybe the speaker pod hijacks the radio of the ship it hits? *really reaching* 415040 Macross 7 should give everyone some good exercise.
9. Man... when I work up the courage to take pics of the stuff I've got I'll post them I swear. I'm just stuck on whether or not I want to go through the hassle of removing stuff from boxes. My stuff isn't rare or all that cool, but you can't go wrong with anything that has to do with macross. It's also tempting to post my Berserk toys... my freaking Zodd PVC cost me 600 dollars.
10. Very cool. I like those space-marines! Did you paint those yourself? Are they space-wolves? (I used to play warhammer wwwAY back in the day! I'm amazed at how huge its gotten... wish I had all my old eldar and chaos paint jobs)
11. I have the fastpack milia... she's a beauty. BUUUUT... I'm tellin' ya', this stealth valk is even cooler. But it in battroid mode with those grey and black nukes on the wings and it's just awesome. (Mine has the skull squadron symbol on the heat shield, and in black on the sides of the boosters) Milia was my fave (aside from the *cough* MGs) until this badazz showed up on my doorstep. Friggin' wish they had THIS guy in DYRL.
12. great idea - thank you
13. A ha! Crap. I guess I missed that point earlier on. Heck, I'd buy a copy of that. Is it still available? Anywhere?
14. Yes yes it looks cool but it's outperformed by the 1S in DYRL. Not sure if it can use strike armor... but I shall find out tonight after class! Speaking of which, I'd better get running. Note: the coolest looking 1/48 I have is the super stealth. My GAWD I love that thing. And it is indeed a 1J.
15. Well, I won't rule out the possibility of some dub out there that's worth a hoot. But it's sorta' like hoping that Santa's real for the mean time. (of course, this is a LOT more feasible than Santa)
16. It also results in a massive increase in accidental incest. *laughs* I can hear Darwin spinning in his grave now. Also, most of the survivors of Space War 1 had no plans for space travel. They were accidental travellers. BUT! The analogy isn't totally flawed. The modern-day cheetah exhibits a shallow gene pool and general poor health. Every current cheetah is more closely related genetically than brother and sister. And they have dull claws, weak jaws, lousy eyesight, bad EVERYTHING except speed(which they can't sustain due to poor stamina). There's very good odds that at some point in history the cheetah population was decimated by something. The surviving population that modern cheetahs are descended from was very small, and apparently consisted primarily of the cheetah version of Steve Urkel. But the point is, it's an entire population almost completely destroyed by something beyond their control. 414962 *laughing* oh my gosh, I never really thought of Cheetahs as gimps up until now. I don't think that image of the Urkel-cat will ever fade. I gotta' tell my wife about this one. As for cousin-marriage not producing defects, I believe it. Look at the Hawaiian islands. For God knows how long those people basically inbred, and they are healthy as HECK. Same goes for many other island cultures.
17. Actually weren't Minmay's father and Kaifun's father(?) cousins themselves? I was under the impression they shared the same family name, but not through direct decendance. That would make the two kids, second cousins. However, cousin marriage is fairly common in Japan, and isn't considered incest as is the case in North America and many European countries. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1066789/posts http://archives.cnn.com/2002/LAW/04/column...n.incest.04.09/ 414926 A-ha! That explains a LOT.
18. So did SDF Macross... maybe even moreso. And from what I seen the toys are terrible, but some of the models, and specifically resin stuff are amazing. The Tect kits, and Wave vinyls, are some of my favorite kits out there. 414864 I'm not sure if SDF Macross was aimed at kids though? Hell that's a good question, for me anyway. Robotech sure was. What about over in Japan?
19. A good looking family indeed.

If you're gonna' get a 1J, get the super-stealth. I can't stress enough how badass this valk is. Even my wife loves it. Even the PILOT looks freaking cool.
21. Congratulations Dev! And wow, what a badazz 1D. Awesome.
22. No visor removal luck, I've given up. (But removing a 1A visor is a cynch!) As for getting decals, yeah, I had to wait I think 2 months to get decals from Anasazi. He's a busy guy! Good luck with your sv-51!!! And I look forward to seeing your 1/48 MG2 when it's finally done!
23. I used some funky acrylic "bambi brown" I think it was, along with some sort of tan spin off with a weird name, and I think the key to matching was I added orange paint. Orange can work wonders with matching. I probably added a smidgen of black once, but I can't remember. The match was near-perfect.
