I remember when I got my 1st 1/48 scale Yamato valk. Up until then, I'd just gotten toynami MPCs and toynami super poseables. My wife goes "This yamato toy has a huge penis." Since then, it's kind of hard to look at a valk in battroid mode without noticing its got a huge wang hangin' down.

I think the MPCs look way cooler... WAY cooler...

DYRL love is cool, but it's over way too fast, and there's just not enough missions where you can land on the ground. But hell, I'd buy it. I DID buy it.

Oh no! Not the first run as there's QC issues. 415604[/snapback] I got a first run VF-0. I'm pist. It's arms are so wobbly it can't even hold its freaking gunpod up. I won't even get into posing issues. Mine sits in happily in its box, where it won't stress me out.

Wish I had seen this thread sooner. The very first thing I ever bought of Yamato, was for Xmas I got some $$$$ so I ordered a Hikaru VF1S, a GBP armor, and a strike armor. The GBP showed up, and then the strike armor. But the damned valk wouldn't come for some reason, so I got jittery and impatient. Thus, my 1st valk to ever really HAVE was a CF I got from Tisinc on ebay. Then the VF1S still didn't come so I ordered a Hikaru 1J. So I guess my 1st valk ended up being my 3rd valk. My advice: If you can't find the stealth w/fast pack.... get Hikaru (1S.) I hope yours comes in less than three months. Oh, if you can't find the stealth, check ebay, man. I had to get mine there. I've only ever had one problem with a 1/48 toy on ebay and that was having to wait 3 months to get my Hikaru 1S. I can tell you which ebay stores are good. AVOID TOYS'N'JOYS AT ALL COSTS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. You'll curse the day you were born and curse the day you heard of their demon-spawn business if you *attempt* to buy something from them. They'll get your money. You'll get nothing but laughed at by their f--ked up staff.

If you look closely at DRYL PS2, the Fighter and Gerwalk modes look exactly like a Yamato 1/40 scale toy. BUT, once you transform it into battroid, the wings mysteriously shrink to half their normal size, as well as the hips (intakes.) Then it becomes workable. It's not that noticeable, unless you're looking to see how they made the wings "work", and then it kind of glares at you from then on. But at least they put the wings on.

I'd have voted to have Kaifun put to sleep.
