Okay, well, for starters, if you want to unlock Max's TV 1a, beat Milia with an S ranking. And if you want Hikaru's 1J TV version, you gotta' beat the mars level with an S! I only know these because I actually managed to unlock them.

Yeah, like I said, I was thinkin' it was Max... But I gotta' give Roy points for Claudia. And Hikaru scores pretty high with Misa, in my book!

Yep, you've got to switch modes constantly if you really wanna' get that S rating and thrash everything as quickly as possible. But doesn't it look cool when you're doing it??? My kid's friends walked into our living room while I was playing DYRL on the 60 inch TV and they just stopped, mesmerized. I kept switching from fighter to gerwalk to battroid very quickly and vanquishing Zentraedi like rodents and if I do say so myself, it just looked awesome. It just SUCKS that it's over so fast! If someone makes a seriously, I mean REALLY GOOD Macross game for PS3, that'll be the day I start saving to buy one. Or if they make Berserk. I'll buy any system that makes one of those.

I think the 1/72 looks really cool in fighter mode. Unfortunately, battroid (and gerwalk) sucks. I hope that's where the new 1/60 will really shine!

I'd have chosen to go neutral. MAYBE liked it... if there was a neutral/like I'd have checked that.
