  1. That's a great looking low poly. D= By the way, you mentioned a while back about a Tron2.0 mod...what's the progress on that? Still planning...or has it been scrapped?
  2. Great models there man. Good to see you around again too. I didn't know Bretai and VF-1's were that much bigger in relation to normal Zentran/Meltran.
  3. Definatly option number one.
  4. Omg... $13.00 for a peice of plastic that's as big as a 9x19 that goes to some toy I don't own and have no intention of owning!?!? /me buys now WEEEEEE
  5. Super Ostrich beat me to it. Isamu survived Macross Plus. I've always figured that the YF-21 was the only fighter capable of taking out the ghost. And I've always thought that the human mind was superior to any machine that could be created...
  6. I have a weird set uf tweasers, they're shaped like a small pair of scissors and have broad heads. Not much chance of scratching. And I'm VERY careful with my knife. =p
  7. That thing does look nice. Good pics.
  8. I use a pocket knife and tweasers. =p
  9. Straps were made for people to easily carry guns. The way the attatchment point is on the arms of the Valks, doing things with the hands could be hindered by that big pod sticking out from the forearm. So it'd be convenient to strap it on the shoulder. Like in the second episode of the series. Fokker is going to use his forearm repair devices to fix up the 1D. With the gunpod stuck on the forearm it'd only get in the way. So he puts the strap on and slings it. Makes sense. o_O
  10. Low Vis indeed! Kind of hard to see what's going on in that last one. o_O But it looks very nice in the DYRL FPacks.

    1/48 stickers?

I don't understand the reason to put the intake cover stickers on. o_O And dang...these things are hard to put on straight...
  12. Nice poses. =D And I believe my 1J has the little chip under the visor as well...not too sure. Low light, and in fighter mode.
  13. Yea, I really loved the mecha design in that show (Kawamori is awesome...). I'd like to see some other mecha from it.
  14. My mom and dad both pitched in to get me a 1/48 VF-1J (no FAST packs). Valk Exchange got it here in three days, I wasn't expecting it to be here until after Christmas. When I opened it up, and for a few hours later I was so happy my face was numb. w00t.
  15. Sorry, but maybe I wasn't clear, I meant missles being on a VF-1's tailfin would interfere with transformation. I had always contributed it to an animation mistake by one of the third party animators, but it looks like it's backed up. Interesting. Nanashi, are you saying that the special loadout of missles on the tailfin and ventrals are only used in space? That would make perfect sense being it looks like it compromises the control serfaces. But I could've sworn that I saw him using it on Earth. Maybe it's just a memory blortch.
  16. That looks pretty neat. =o I would like to see a custom...doubt Yamato would bother with something seen just once...
  17. Don't forget apples. It could be useful for peeling apples. The one in that magazine looks too small, and maybe too short... Your second try looks good...but it only looks like a peice of metal sticking out... =\

    How To?

    It's under "Toycom/Yamato"
  19. Yay, you can wear them.
  20. Yea, Escaflowne was awesome...but the dragon mode of the toy looks...odd... Love the battle mode though.

    My first 1/48

Takatoy stickers are better, eh? I'll have to look into them. =o The gunpod looks nice with its stickers on though...hehe.

    My first 1/48

The stickers for the 1/48 are a bit odd to me...I took out the ones for the radar and cockpit and noticed they had excess...stuff (for lack of better word). I put the radar one on, and though it was centered well, some still hung over...same with the cockpit. >_< It's confusing. Also, the hand that came with it for holding the gunpod seems to be a little fat or long in the peg department. Doesn't fit in too well. I think I may have to cut some of its length down. And it's a pain to transform, parts want to go somewhere else when I do something with something else. The backpack doesn't stay flush with the back in battroid mode, when I use the little hook thing it pulls the hatch with it. And the side panel things don't come anywhere near to connecting to the front. Even with these faults...it is the most beutiful thing I've ever seen. XD XD /me tears

    My first 1/48

Got my first for Christmas, too. VF-1J without FAST packs... It's still awesome though. Maybe next year I can get the packs. =p
  24. Uh, it can penetrate more than just steel. The VF-11 in Macross Plus used an anti-mecha Bayonet that could penetrate Over-Technology armored mecha. also it can puncture a zentradi And a melon.
  25. I only have one and it's a Christmas present. =p Valk Exchange got it here in 3 days!
