I have just about convinvced my wife to let me get a 1/48 VF-1J from Valkyrie Exchange, but there is a catch. Before she lets me order it she wants to see some pictures showing off all the detail I claim is there. She is VERY skeptical about the price. I have searched the forums and can't find any satifactory pictures for her. So PLEASE PLEASE someone help me out and post some pictures of the fine details, like maybe the cockpit flaps anything that shows off the greatness of this toy. I am hurting for a 1/48, I love my 1/60's don't get me wrong but I need help here. Thanks so much

Right now I have three aircraft on the table and work is progressing slowly. They are all 1/72. A Hasegawa A-7 Corsair, Hasegawa F-16, and a Fujimi Mig-29. If i get a chance I will post some pics of them soon. I have a 1/72 Hasegawa B-17G for my next project. I am trying to convince myself to do one of my macross kits. I have a YF-19, VF-0S, SV-51, VF-1s Fighter, and a VF-1 Battroid. I also have a couple small kits like the IMAI VF-1D GBP kit in 1/170 and the ARII VF-1D in 1/100. Someday I will get one of these done.

My only recomendation is to watch the kyoto arc of the series and see how much Kenshin ownz. Also Trust and Betrayal is VERY good but i am not much of a fan Reflections. samurai champloo is very good though

What decals are available? Fir the Mig or the Tomcat? I would very much wanna be a part of a decal print run. I am starting to think of the cost of these kits combined with accuracy compared to the cost of what I can get that is more accurate. Only thing i would need would be the decals so if you would bsu legato keep me posted about this project. I would for sure want a set of each. thanks

Although I agree this is a great series. I had not heard anything about it and downloaded it on a whim but it is great. I do have a couple of nitpicks about it though. Nothing terrible that takes away from the story. But I do recomend it. However lets not get to far ahead of ourselves. Kenshin is the best IMHO. Although I have not yet see Naruto. I have never been disappointed by Kenshin. I have even laid out the cold hard cash to get the first two box sets, and I will gladly plunk down for the third soon.

I guess that is as good a reason as any. I just wish I hadn't missed out on this one. I have no idea how I did I usually try to stay on top of the new macross model releases. Oh well Maybe I will luck out and find the f-14 and the Mig-29 together somewhere.

I have been looking for one of these kits for quite sometime. Why is it so rare? It seems that I completely missed the release of the kit and missed out on it. Same thing for the Mig-29. I haven't even seen them on Ebay. I have taken this to heart and already got my Vf-0 and Sv-51. Need to start them soon. Thanks

I got mine last week at wal-mart. Now it seems both the qwal-marts we go to regularly have them in stock and they aren't moving. At last notice there were at least 6 between the two stores. My wife was a little mad i spent that much money on something that was supposed to be rare and now they are plentiful. This always happens to me with toy collectibles. P.S. These wal-marts are in O'fallon, IL and Belleville, IL which is the st.louis area.

I am a huge fan of this series and i also reccomend Midnight nation. Written just as well if not better. now as far as what i am about to say i have only heard this in my local comic store. The story i heard was that there was going to be a movie produced. Stracynski didn't like the script (I also heard that he had no part in writing it). It basically amounted to just a big superhero battle. but since he was having these difficulties with top cow he has decided to not finish the series until he gets more control over his creation. like i siad just what i heard but i might give you something to go on. also check out his run on amazing spider-man as well as his newer series Supreme power his writing just amazes me. spider-man hasn't been this good in a very long time

I am surprised nobody has mentioned the Traci Lords classic "Not of This Earth" it was good for so many reasons. Immediately off the top of my head i can think of two. Space Balls was great. but what about the second Conan movie it was horrible. And i have to say the Evil Dead trilogy is highly overrated. I personally don't care for anything Bruce Campbell has done except for Spider-Man.

I think i remember seeing a voltron episode where the vehicle voltron and the lion Voltron meet. Am i nuts or does someone else remember this also? If so what was the name of it and does anyone know where i can get a copy of it?

Can someone explain to me what dry brushing and paint washing are? I would be happy if someone could give a link to a site that might talk about this stuff. I have heard these terms and seen what they look like so naturally i would like to learn how to do them. thanks

This is what happened. I was starting my tamiya light tank and decided to try out my new airbrush. It is a testors the $20 special from wal-mart. sprayed the hull first and it turned out pretty good, and i was happy. But i ran out of paint. so i mix up another batch and start to spray the other peices of armor and it was so runny the paint ran right off the parts! Now before you say anything i mixed both batches the same way and i don't know what happened. I wasted an entire bottle of olive drab paint on the second batch. any way i guess my point is this can someone give me some extensive hints for airbrushing or point me to a web-site that has some information? any help is appreciated. thanks

Once again thanks to everyone for your help i did manage to run the command line version and i also found the 3 macross roms: macross, macross2 (side scroller), and macross plus. now i am happy again.

I like to build cars mostly Muscle cars and even then preferably Camaro's and Corvette's. I recently started building WWII planes a couple in 1/72 but i like 1/48 better. I have some tamiya armor to build as well as a motorcycle. and i am waiting on my first macross model i won on ebay. altjough i have a hasegawa vf-1s to build when i get better and also when i get an airbrush. i guess my point is i like to build just about anything. i have done several of the hg gundam wing models but i prefer the mg stuff but i have never painted or detailed them i usaually put them together look at them a bit and then pose them next to my valk collection. hey druna i would like to see some pics of you "frankenstein" models if possible.

Anybody know where i can download this stuff at? i would very much like to play these games again they were great fun.

I have built lots of cars and currently i am building WWII style airplanes i would say i have average skills but i wasn't sure what would be different with this type of model. thanks for the airbrush tip i have been thinking of getting one now if only someone would recomend and decent inexpensive starter kit.

My most expensive is kinda of a tie. I paid $120 for my gakken 1/35 alpha. it was a good price it included the box manual little figure gun and styrofoam. just a little yellowed. only problem is the metal piece that holds the head and allows it to swing broke in shipping so i jb welded it. good as new. i also paid $120 for my yamato yf-19 2nd edition. I am pretty happy with that also. but i gotta say i am trying to figure out a way to get a hold of a set of gbp armor without the wife finding out.
