  1. It also appears that this boy has a high % of metal, I don't want to see the price tag....
  2. Look very impressive overall but I think the grey velvet joint covers are a bit too fiddly, they make the whole toy look a bit weak.
  3. Welcome home, son, welcome home...
  4. OMFG!!!!! The combining Gaiking (if becomes reality) will blow all other Gaikings away. Do CM normally use die-cast for their toys?
  5. I'll do TV Minmay first, then TV Misa, then DYRL Minmay, then DYRL Misa, then I'll let the bridge bunnies to join in. Should Max got killed by friendly fire from his captain (me), and Miria becomes a widow, I'll do her too... Kaifun will have to watch in his giant folk cage....
  6. Can you imagaine 9 of them with full spread wings!!!!!!! KingNor's Option 2 is bit slim and even if it does happen, it will be another year or two. Time to have a good chat with your usual toy dealers to see any 9 pack deal discount can be arranged.
  7. Competition always benefits the consumers. Can’t tell the size of that thing, but it’s details are very beautiful.
  8. I don't think I can keep supporting paint scheme variants, like to see they work on VF-0D.
  9. Ha..ha...you were just using us to get you over the line.
  10. Here are a couple of the mug shots of the family. I wouldn't call the 1/40 Orgus complex at all. It is actually very simple but robust - a toy that is designed to be played with, rather than display. With the 1/40 Orguss, if you have patient, you can get it under $100. Definitely don't pay more than $150 unless you have cash to spare. For some reason, there is always a constant supply of it. May be the fans are getting old?? [attachmentid=40712][attachmentid=40713]

    Need some advice....

If fix is the issue, you should wait for other brave souls' review.

    Need some advice....

If it is a must have now, get the combo. Seem to be a slightly better deal, and it is a good excuse for getting another YF-19...I used the same excuse myself...
  13. Ha...ha...but find me a Santa Claus that can perform duo-transformation and still manage to do a karate pose King Joe can transform as shown on pics.
  14. Ideon: OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at the size of this beast!!! Gunbuster looks like a little kid next to Ideon very beautiful proportion. I hope they use a fair amount of diecsat on the feet to keep this guy free standing. I assume the head is not quit finished. King Joe: know nothing about this guy and the design is not exactly my cup of tea, but the SOC looks beautiful. It might just have enough retro feel to push me over the line. Lightan: The lightans are just so cute and have been my 80s fav for a long time. Got the GX-32 but was slightly disappointed that it has little diecast (but the plated gold was OK, I guess..). Does it mean Bandai is re-releasing the Lightan?
  15. Great, the comments and bigger pics comfort me alot. I hope there will be enough sales to generate more interest for other Evas.
  16. Dildo is easier to type than EC FBF-1000A external fold booster...
  17. Can't help you on that one. I didn't get the 2nd release because I was still truamatised from getting the EVA SOC in the worst possible timing - I brought the whole set just 3 months prior the re-issue annoucement..sniffle...sniffle.... My only only comment would be Bandai didn't add the "R" initial to the second release, so I am guessing there would be no improvement Come to think of it, I should have buy the 2md release because I am getting the feeling that the EVA SOC's movement joint will eventually become very loose.
  18. I think I want to get one good Tachikoma so I might get the GSC Tachikoma (with the 3.5 inch Motoko Kusanagi "action figure, diecast & ABS) The Fewture EX is the 2nd Gig Tachi. Since I don't like the paws of the Tachi from 2nd Gig, I can forget about that one. The Mega House Perfect Peice is all ABS, so it might not have the weight feel. So I'll pass it too. The M There are just so many Tachikoma, I hope I choose the right one...
  19. If you only want one EVA SOC and don't have EVA-001 yet, I highly recommend EVA-001. It has alot more accessory than the others and it is the only Eva that has the Samurai Blades. Its paint job is also the best of them all. EVA 01 (Blue) & Eva03 (Black) are both nice in their own ways. The Blue one has a very nice sparkle paint job while the Black Eva has a matt finish. Definitely don't get Eva02 if you are getting one EVA SOC only, very disappointing paint job. And I agreed with you about Revoltech is not very good at Evas when compares to the other stuffs they put out. [attachmentid=40634]
  20. Was it done for the 20th anniversary? I always thought they did it to milk a few dollars out of the fan with old footages.
  21. Which Evas are you thinking of? The new Spec or the smaller Evas?
  22. Ah!!! That guy kind of look familiar, I must have seen it when I was a kid.
  23. The below quote is from here Don'y know how reliable is that but at least someone is making a claim. I'll be working for Bandai this year....
  24. I love the additional 5mins but it was only five minutes.... I love all the soundtracks but when I first saw the music clips, I honestly thought they were fairly ordinary - more like watching a B-grade Karaoke. It really didn't have an impact on me and I thought it was a great lost of opportunity of 30 minutes air time. But Minmay was beautiful. 2 stars.

    VF-1A Kakizaki

My recommendation: Feb: Battroid Mar: Gerwalk Apr: Fighter May: Fighter Super (If no Super set, buy one or repeat above cycle) Jun: Gerwalk Super (ditto above) Jul: Battroid Super (ditto above) Aug: Batrroid Super with strike cannon (ditto above) Sep: Gerwalk Super with strike cannon (ditto above) Oct: Fighter Super with strike cannon (ditto above) Nov: Buy armor set and wait for shipping Dec: Put on armor and admire your valk. The VF-1 is very robust, so make use of the transformation and enjoy for the rest of the year!!!!
