I am soul How sweet would those 2 red devils go together (i mean Ideon and Iron Gear) The only thing is, the ankle movement seems abit restricted.

Burning...tempting.... Actually, it appears that I am the only one so far who is having the problem, so may be I am just unlucky. For those who own the combo, have you guys opened the shoulder up and check for stress signs?

That is how you do Black Getter!!!!!!!

I am guessing...a 14yrs old blue hair red-eye chick in a flimsy tight suit wrapped in bandages fondling the head of a semi-organic giant robot that likes to go berserk when he gets a little excited... [attachmentid=43171]

You know what, I really think it is more of a design flaw than selection of materials. There are places where the elbow part next to the screw is so thin, it just doesn't look right. Maybe Yamato needs to make the elbow /arm part with die-cast...

How do I tell the difference between POM from the weaker plastic?? My new Shin Combo's arm looks the same when I compared to my old VF-0S' arm. I just hope it is POM and the stress mark will stay as stress mark.

Custom 1/48 VF-1S Minmay Guard "Paris Act" by wickedpr1nce
Mowe replied to Roy's Blues's topic in Toys
Did you have the Minmay Moon Guard Image applied on the leg? I always find that pic of Minmay very cute. -
Ha..ha..I don't know what sort of sick Eva fantasy you are up to, but you better share it with us....good to see another countryman of mine is an Eva devotee . The original SOC EVAs (not the SOC Spec) have pretty high standards (my only compliants were I wish they were bigger and the joints could become a little loose after many posing) I'll some pics tonight when I am home and dig up more info tonight. wolfx is pretty spot on about Unit 04, Bandai has some background story (in Japanese) printed on their SOC booklet. I can scan it and somebody whom can read Japanese might be able to translate it for you. Would be fun to see Russian gets involved, a low budget commie Eva with serious nuke arsenals...

Calmed down a little and did a bit of digging around, see post #47 from Omni Existence from Robot-Japan...Link Don't know who to believe anymore... Anyone else have similar stress marks? On the other hand, all joints (knee, elbow, and the back pack) are very tight and the Shin has no problem holding the ghost, and he does look handsome. I still think people should loosen the screws at elbow and shoulder. I honestly hope the stess-marks do not spread out this time...

Ah...you are right!!!! Actually, it makes sense because why whould the giant needs a transformable mode? The variable fighter was designed so the figher can be transformed into battroid to handle hand to hand combat with the giant.

Yap, more info on the MP-5 add on at Robot Japan They should have an added on to bulk up Megatron's chicken legs. By the way, did anyone from Australia manage to own a MP-05? Like to know how you got through our stupid custom whom keeps insisting it has the potential to be a leathal weapon, yeah right, Megatron is really going to transform into a MP-05 and blast our Prim Minister in his butt hole.... For those whom don't like the MP-03 colour scheme, there is a rumour that a G1 Starscram Colour scheme will be issued in USA, let's wait and see, I think this might be a custom, but more info here Star Scream at Robot Japan [attachmentid=42928][attachmentid=42926][attachmentid=42927]

What have we got here!? Awsome.

That would be my wish too, but please keep some continuity of the original sound track/music, like DYRL.

Some visual to back up Guvava's post. Vintage super robot can be very cool with a bit of modern interpretation and technological help You guys don't know what you are missing..heh...heh... By the way, I read somewhere that the GD-03 Reideen is not a redesign of Reideen. The GD-03 Reideen is actually a different robot from a different series all together. Black Version......Gold Version.........God Bird!!!! [attachmentid=42915][attachmentid=42916][attachmentid=42917]

Thanks for the info, but I am a little worry about the choice of colour, that fluro green is a little off... [attachmentid=42903] Aoshima's metal works and paint jobs are very nice, but the QC at the production end is at times mis or hit, so I 'll wait for review.

Maybe your's is a very late batch that actually got the replacement fix

Just hit the button, it is big, that is all we need to know. Actually, with Bandai SOC, I think you can always find better deals on Ebay or Yahoo JP after the release. There is something about this King Joe that makes me think it is really well built. Macross73, does it have good diecast %? I reckon it might looks nicer if it in the grey silver tint rather than the green silver tint . And GX39 RAIDEEN's work in progress, yummmy retro super robot....
