If you look at the pics you can just see what looks like a tail sticking out the back of the suits. The suits are charged up before they go into combat with the nano thingies that wolfx mentioned and it lasts for between 5 & 10 minutes from memory and yes they are sitting ducks once it runs out as the suit not only protects them against weapons damage but also allows them to fly the sonic divers at speed with no cockpit.

Do you mean these? I've also got Eika & her sonic diver but no pics to post at the moment.

I've used them a couple of times now and they are fast & considerably cheaper than HLJ. As they use SAL parcel if the item goes above SAL small packet size (which HLJ don't, they force you to use EMS or put the items in multiple boxes) postage costs are much better and you get tracking with SAL parcel. The bonus points are a plus as well. It's nice to know they appreciate your custom. I've spent a great deal of money with HLJ over the last few years (just over 1 million Yen) and never even got so much as a hello thanks for sticking with us or a christmas greeting let alone any freebies. Yep from now on if HW Japan have got the item listed they've got my money.

I thought I'd give HW Japan a go as I'm getting a bit sick of HLJ's pot luck ordering system and not so competitive pricing & postage. If you haven't used them before then I suggest you give them a shot. Prices are cheaper than HLJ, postage options and cost are so much better and they seem to be pretty quick. Their web site isn't as flash as HLJ but I just saved around Y1000 on the 2 kits that I brought (cheaper price & cheaper postage) and they give you reward points to use as you please and to top it all off they threw in the Sheryl decal set with the VF-25F Super without me even asking.

I ordered a VF-25F Super from HWJ and they put a set in for free.

I got the ammo can set a while back. I think it's done by Central Park Media (no longer in business I think). It has a booklet that gives a pretty good run down on the show and also all the goodies that were available back when the set came out (a lot more goodies are available now). I think it had a few extras on a disc (can't be sure of that as I'm moving into my new home and everything is packed away) and some sort of game as well. As far as the series goes I love it. If you're not a fan of old school anime you might not like what you see as this is the real deal, no CGI crap so as such it tends to recycle scenes a fair bit. I thought the story was a bit dis-jointed to start off with but it soon got going. Oh and did I mention no CGI crap It's an all time classic and I reckon you'll be pleased you watched it.

It has been discussed on numerous occasions you just need to search-fu better but yes it is a wonderful little piece of anime.

Side cutters from any electronics store will do the job just fine.

If you had bothered to keep up with the other threads (or checked the official web site) that have addressed this issue in the past you would have known that the official releases have not reached the end of the series yet, so anything you purchased that had all the episodes WOULD be a pirate. Sorry for trying to defend the series from pirates

Well got off to a flying start doing the scanning, not Being over 20 years old they used what appears to foolscap size paper (which was pretty common back then). It's bigger than A4 or Legal so until I can find someone with an A3 scanner it ain't gonna happen.

If you would like a copy let me know, I'll see if I can get the staples out without damaging the pages and then I'll scan them for you. If I can't get the staples out then sorry I won't be able to do it as I'm not bending the pages as they are in as new condition. I would say they were done by someone in the US as the first page has a cross reference of Macross to Robotech characters/items and a bit of help on how to read Japanese books (ie: back to front, right to left).

They are a translation of the 2 books next to them. They came with the books and there is nothing in them that I can see that tells you who did them.

Great! Something for free (+post) from Yamato. Hopefully this will take the edge of the pineapple that has been shoved up my rear when I purchased all the Motoslaves

Just got the new Momoi Halko album "more & more quality RED, Anime song cover" It has an interesting version of Ai Oboete Imasu ka on it. It's sung in a lounge/piano bar style, quite different. I'm a great fan of Halko and although the style is different, hearing this song sung by anyone else but Mari just doesn't seem quite right and that includes the rather poor (IHMO) rendition in Frontier. See what you think. 07___24859___12539___12362___12412___12360___12390___12356___12414___12377___12363_.mp3

King Animation Bootleg Macross Frontier DVDs
thegunny replied to Kamui 777's topic in Movies and TV Series
So being involved in bringing the latest installment of Macross has done nothing for fans in your end of the pacific Keep up that attitude and Frontier may well be the last.
