They are doing a great job with these trailers. Anyone know the name of the song in the trailer? Showing Camille/Four, Char/Reccoa, Katz/Sara, Amuro/Betltochia(sp?). Mouar is still alive around this time right? Or was she killed already, I don't remember. If alive, would have been nice to see a Mouar/Jerid pairing in the trailer as well.

If she was one or not has seriously crossed my mind to be honest. She's like Tigh's version of Six yet she's real and not in his head. Glad Adama is back, it's about time. Though I wish they didn't have Apllo in the direction he's going in. I like him more when he's being the solider or at least having conflict with Adama but with him in the uniform. Roslin is really annoying me. Well she annoyed me from the start to be honest. I'm not sure if it's due to who they have playing her or simply her character in general though. So it seems like we won't be seeing Apollo or Starbuck in a fighter for some time now. Galatica Boomer is gone as well now. Who do they have for fighter battles now other then the likes of Hotdog and crew?

Stargate: SG1 and Atlantis get new cast members

Not sure if she will be on the show a lot but it seems that Lexa Doig is on tonights episode. She played the Andromeda Ascendant ("Rommie")(ship's AI and the android) on the show Andromeda. Seems like she might be the new doctor there but not sure. Only going by what was shown at the beginning of the episode. -
I had seen this on torrent sites for a while now and I never had clue as to what the hell it was until now. I didn't recall any comics by the name, any cartoons or games, certainly no movies rom Lucas (ala the main Star Wars film sor the Ewoks films (which were pretty good I feel)). Now I know. Kinda afraid to download it though. What part of the Star Wars timeline does it take place in? Movie eras, the novel eras (post-ROTJ, Clone War era) or comic era(Movie(during or post) or pre like the Sith era)?

GANTZ. This isn't one for the kiddies.

What't the point of the sex in this show? Does it actually add to the story somehow or is it there just as pointless sense to give certain viewers something to watch and to keep coming back? Or for the show to be known for something? Seriously, when peopel were talking about the show when it first started, that was all that was refered to. I never heard anything at all about the characters or the storyline. Just that people seemed to refer to nothing bu tthe violence and the sex that took place. -

Just got back from seeing WOTW. Wow. I really enjoyed this. Honestly before this I've only heard of the original WOTW story and I think I've seen parts of the old film but never the full thing. Acting was great, I like that it was more of a personal story about the father and the kids instead of some big military operation. In fact it's whole presentation made it somewhat more believeable then I had first considered. They didn't go crazy on the special effects, and that actually helped I believe. Coming out of the ex-wife's house after all the noise, sounds, etc and seeing the plane crashed and broken up gives more of an impact then actually seeing it fall I think. Dakota's character wasn't that bad. Her screaming got annoying at times but I think that's what they were really going for. She seemed believeable as a little girl that was just straight up scared with Tom Crusies character acting accordingly. Tom might be a little off but he's a great actor I feel. Now the son, I really think it might have been better had he stayed dead. I didn't really care for him at all. It actually made me made though in the scenes with him trying to go with the military, the girl trying to keep him there since she thought she needed him more then the father, and the father trying his best not to scare her even worse and doing what he can to keep them alive all the while taking all that crap from the son. True Cruise's character wasn't perfect, which is what I liked, but he seemed like he was ready to do anything to protect his kids. I really want to see this again. As for the burying of the alien machines. I think they'd have to be buried really, really deep for them not to have been found. Past the crust area of the planet maybe. It did take them a while to dig themselves out of the ground after all. What I don't get though is the area where the alien pod went into the ground, when Cruise's character and the other people were near it, why the ground was cold. Shouldn't it have been hot? -
THis is pretty cool and scary all at the same time. Honestly the first time I heard this I had this picture of the OVA and movies of Armitage III.

Lion Voltron was the one with lions. The 15 piece version is actually Vehicle Voltron. There are three teams in the vehicles, Air, Sea, and Land. All together they made up Voltron. Reason given for so many in the show was due to how complex creating a machine like Voltron was. That many people were needed, where as the Lion Voltron didn't need so many due to advance the Lion version was. Makes sense when I think about it. Though don't recall what the reason was in the original Japanese version of the series that makes up Vehicle Voltron. The third robot I think might be somethign called the Abgess or something like that. The toy was released but don't believe WEP ever used the series as a part of Voltron. They just used the two original series that made up Lion Voltron and Vehicle Voltron and then went back and had new episodes for Lion Voltron made to continue that part of the story. That third robot was made up of three other robots. Just three pilots all together. Story wise and animation wise I don't think they used it cause it wouldn't have fit but the original series for LV and VV seemed to work pretty well together.

Episode 12 was pretty good. Finally some backgroudn info on Apolloinus, Toma, and Siren. The love triangle was hinted at before but it's even clearer now. Well square if you count the Shadow Angel that is always with Toma. Not fighting though until the end of the episode it seems. Seems Apollonius was pretty evil before hooking up with Siren. I'm even more curious now as to what actually happen between the two of them that causes him to go good and fall in love with her. Clearly Toma was quite sad about that, even offering to spare Siren's life if Apolloinus would just come back to him. Yet Apolloinus was willing to rip his wings off just to save her himself, much to Toma's horror and the other Shadow Angels. Cool thing is that Apollo and Silvia actually remember parts of what was shown to us now. Even before that flashback they seemed to be getting along with him trying to cheer her up a bit. Now that Toma is directly assulting the Deava base himself and showing himself to Apollo who now knows who Toma is, things should be getting pretty interesting. Also what's up with the Fudo and the female scientist. Are they an item? It kinda seemed like that. With her asking him if he had told anyone about his feelings. I'm guessing about her. I'd like to know why the girl in the wheelchair reacted the way she did. Wish I could remember her name, would be easier if I had a list of the characters since there is a good number of them, the vampire like girl. Same thing with Sirius. Perhaps they each were experiencing flashbacks the way Apollo and Siliva did but different ones.

Finally some official word. WEP has been saying that they were in the talks for a live action movie. Seems like they are finally making due on their word. With the Toynami toy coming out, dvds currently out in other parts of the world(would be in the US if some of the companies WEP tries to work with would stop being asses and just do what WEP wants or act decently), the new comic that was out(canceled due to sales but not due to quality, damn Devils Due) and new the movie. They've also said a new series would be done as well and if this movie is finally getting the green light then I feel better about the new series. Just hope it has better voice acting then the 80s show. Ugh Pidges voice and Svens are just horrible now that I've seen a copy of one fo the episodes. I didn't remember them being so bad before. Guess I have to get used to them again. I'm hoping the movie will be somewhat dark in nature but still contain humor.

Episodes 12 and 13 are now out by Aone/AK. Can't wait to see them.

You see, comments like that are the reason why you are on a LOT of people's ignore list and the reason they just might not see the content of your post. Stop acting like such an ass and maybe that might change but I doubt you have it in you.

I don't think it has to do with the mass driver. After all the EA itself still has one from the last war. I'm sure they've even built another I'd think. Would be smart of them to, in the very middle of EA controll land in North America just to be extra safe. So going after Orb for that doesn't seem like it would be the main reason. I think he wanted to attack Orb and is just using Dijbril as the means to do it. Orb is strong(really it shouldn't be for such a small island nation) and that's why he wants them gone. He can't risk anyone going against him. Now that I think about it seems like this attack was never really going to work anyway when you think about it. When Azreal's EA fleet went after Orb they had a LOT more troops to take out the military bases and mobile suits. Even they didn't purposly target goverment buildings or even private housing or fly over the cities directly putting the civilian population in danger the way ZAFT has done. At least not on screen, and it seems they didn't in manga stories either.

Not to go off topic here but do you think the SEED universe has basicly screwed itself due to how fast they've advanced the technolgoy in it? I mean SEED seesm to go from, using UC as a point of reference, 0079(MSG) to just before 0087 in terms of technolgy. While SEED Destiny seems to have leaped from 0087(Zeta Gundam) to 0153(Victory Gundam) in terms of technology. After two series they already have beam shields on mobile suits. They really could have pushed things for a long time if they had slowed the technology down and concentrated on story elelments. Yet it seems they wanted to sell the most toys and models in the shortest amount of time and the direction they took was making them more and more powerful. I wonder if this was planned and if they were thinkingly only short time or long term when it came to the SEED universe. The new UC, what SEED was being called seems like they meant to have the universe last but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Just found out something interesting. I didn't realize that in GS, the EA actually took over both Gibraltar and Carpentaria. It seems that the opening of the game Gundam SEED: EVER ENDING TOMORROW shows the attack on both bases. This is from a post over at Gundam Official. http://forums.gundamofficial.com/showthrea...99114#post99114 http://www.gundamofficial.com/worlds/ce/ba...d/timeline.html The reason I bring this up is that it kinda makes the whoel presentation fo the EA even worse in SEED DEstiny. It really does seem that with using the Daggers and other mobile suits the EA was actually able to force ZAFT from the Earth. Now what I don't get. Is if the EA has full control of the Earth, at the end only lost 40% of it's total forces(consider if you start from when they pushed back into space after taking Earth back) with GENESIS first attack, and then their Lunar Base and reenforcesments why would they agree to give both Gibraltar and Carpentaria? I've also heard that the EA had more then one base on the Moon. That the one they have now isn't the one that was hit in GS but the one in GS was the main Moon base. So exactly why would they agree to those terms to allow ZAFT back on Earth? Even with GENESIS firing and finally being destoryed it seems that the EA was in a far better position. If they wanted to continue the fighting they could have I think and won in the end since the 3 Ship Alliance really could have stopped them since most of their forces were destoryed, all Gundam's destoryed. It doesn't make much sense when I look at this information. Why in the hell woudl the EA allow ZAFT back on Earth after they had full and compltely control over it save for a few neturla nations that had no army anyway?

Actually I think the three of them did get taken out in the same episode. It was the episode where Matlida dies by being crushed by one of the Doms. Amuro manges to take out one after they do their Jetstream attack I believe then one gets taken out by Sayla I think and Amuro takes out the other after that. Though I could be wrong about that but I do think they were all taken out in the same episode. Well from the way the spoilers look it seems that ZAFT might take a beatin when Strike Freedom and I-Justice show up, along with Andy's Gaia if he drops. Then there is the chaos that might take place with the real Lacus finally showing herself to the people, that should through PLANT and ZAFT into confusion. While Gilbert seems like he'll try to recover from that, even with limited Eath based ZAFT forces due to the loses they took at Heaven's Base, I think that ZAFT might retreat. Meanwhile if Dijbril is in space, there aren't any big named characters in space that would be able to stop him. Sure there is Yzak and Dearka, I think they'll be reintroduced as they and their forces try to stop this Requim weapon but end up being helpless to stop it. Hopefully this will mean the end of the PLANTS once and for all. If there isn't going to be a SEED series after this and there is going to be a UC style series instead(one unlikes the SEED series) then Destiny just might be the end of the CE series or maybe a break. If so, finally putting an end to the war might be what they are trying to do and the only real way that is going to happen is the complete destruction of either side. Since it doesn't look like the Earth is going to be destoryed, much of the AF controlled land and other areas of Earth are untouched or already destroyed due to Junis 7 falling, the last place that needs to take damage or bring an end finally would be and has always been the destruction of the PLANTs. All of the coordinators could go to Orb I think, at least those that live. Or stay in their bases. Either way I think this might be the end of the natural vs. coordinator storyline and it couldn't end sooner I feel. Gotta say I'm tired of some small island nation being so important. I'm guess the time between Heaven's Base and Orb is pretty short. Way to short as well. Kira reached space and the area where Lacus was extremely fast as well. Sure you can travel fast in space but really there are limits to just how fast you can go between certain points. After all this isn't Star Wars or Star Trek where they can travel extremely fast. It seems like they are really trying to rush things right now and all sense of time is being thrown out.

Finally, it's about time we had a series not like SEED Destiny. Bandai did say they were going to do a UC-like series for the older fans. AU or not, if it has a competent political setup, some real world physics and elements like the UC had(time to travel between areas, death of grunts even matter, etc), whatever sides are smart and the entire situation is gray with no natural vs. coordinators or no EA or ZAFT country style setup then things should be interesting. Personally after some thought I'd love to see a colony vs. colony type of situation. Let Earth be peaceful for a change, after some war. Have it as a more Titan vs. AEUG situation where it's all space based and both sides try to gain support from the Earth or something of that natural. Leave the Earth alone for once I say or at least don't try to make it's government or political make up similar to the real world. I hated that about SEED and SEED Destiny but the make up wasn't bad in the UC. I wonder though, if they'll try to break the mold again the way Tominio did with Turn A Gundam. Now that would be great if they tried something new but tried to keep a realistc type or 'real robot' feel to the show in some manner.

Watch them have Neo pull a Ryu from MSG. Both are injured, in the medical room. Ryu goes out in the core fighter and slams into Haman's vehicled to save Amuro. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same exact thing with Neo in order to save Kira or someone. Maybe slam into the Minerva's bridge taking it out of the picture before the final battle or something. After all they've taken a LOT else from the UC, why not this, especially since we are getting a Black Tri Stars rip it seems. I wonder if they'll be killed in the episode they appear in like the Black Tri Stars were though.

Yeah I think so. Can't wait for the new season. It's one of the few shows that I don't mind waiting for since I know the wait is worth it. I hope they use more of the other super heros beside the main Justice League leadership. They made great use of Green Arrow, Supergirl, and The Question this season I believe. They used them the most I think and one other but not sure. I really hope they at least have Nightwing show up or bring Doomsday back. Would be cool if they ran through the Light and Death of Superman storyline. They already have Steel and Supergirl in the show. I agree, that did make the Batman Beyond storylne just a bit creepier. Still now that I think about it, the episode was pretty well done. Nothing really in your fact action wise but loved the character interaction.

Caught the rerun of Epilogue. I'm not really sure what to make of it. I'm glad that they keep adding parts of Batman Beyond in Justice Leaque Unlimited. They even had Static in one episode that dealt with the Terry Batman via timeline episode. I'm not sure what to make of Terry actually being Bruce's son though. I can understand his frustration from finding out but I thought that would be seriously extreme for Bruce to do. Come to find out he didn't even do it(but the woman from Cadmas), which is good. Was interesting to see how much she changed over the years. I did find it cool that they has Phantasm as the one that was suppose to kill Terry's parents but she wouldn't do it. Nice reference to the Mask of the Phantasm movie. I wonder if the Kent that Bruce mentioned at the end was Clark Kent or maybe Clark's son. Superman was getting the gray hair in one of the Batman Beyond episodes but Terry was 16 or 17 then but now he looked like he was in his late 20s. Seeing Ace from the Royal Flush Gang was nice. Didn't realize that she came from Cadmas as well. I do hope they continue doing more Batman Beyond era material like this. I woudl like to see a Teen Titan refernece though. There was one in a Static Shock episode where Batman appeared, where Static asked about Robin. Saying he was with the Teen Titans, and Static is all confused. Batman replies that he'll meet them someday. Seeing as Static was still around in the Batman Beyond era, I'd really like to see how things went when he joined the Titans, if he ever did. From the Static episodes he knew the Justice League (pre-Unlimited) and seemed to be closest to Batman and Green Latern.

I think your right. At this point in time there really is nothing that Destiny can do that would please me. The thing that would have pleased me would have been if they stopped this EA is evil ala comic fashion. If they made them competent and put some effort behind them. If they actually put some effort into the political situation in Destiny(that includes PLANT, EA, Orb, or whatever other country). If there was some logic behind the actions in the show. Pulling crap like unleashing Destory on civilan cities when you have two of ZAFT's strongholds untouch is an example in my opinion of how piss poor Destiny is. You have the EA declaring war on PLANT yet the first thing they do is attack PLANT itself while you have their two Earth based bases sitting nicely and untouched. Then you have Naturals after being devestated by the fall of Junis 7 siding with ZAFT and believe everything Gilbert says without any doubt after all ZAFT has done to the Earth during the last war(N Jammers, going to fire on the Earth with GENESIS, then coordinators drop Junis 7(with high tech equipment and Ginn mobile suits). What kind of poo is that? There has been so much damage done already to what could have been an interesting universe. Now that I think about it, I there is one thing that could be done that would really please me. That is if Dijbril is actually able to destory the PLANTs with his new weapon. If coordinators actually took some civilian deaths on a massive scale the way Naturals have. What would make me happy is if a massive amount of coordinators die cause it's about time. There have been so many Natural deaths in SEED and SEED Destiny that it's sicking. If Detiny finally did away with this Naturals are evil, EA is evil(due to Fukuda's clear political bias), and all other bullshit related to it. My main concern about Destiny has never really been about Shinn or Kira but the whole political situation of the world and the logic behind the events that take place in it. Everything else is pretty much secondary. If they killed off the coordinators and that led into another series and it was simply natural vs. natural and really about ideals vs. ideals then I would be happy but only as long as both sides were shown as being competent and no where near as comic bookish, especially if Fukuda and his entire team of writers are no longer connected with Gundam.

As much as I hate when a character is made pointless as Cagalli has/was, the abrupt changes in personality are just as bad if not worst I feel. They spend so much time presenting the character in one light only to 180 the character in a second. Change is great but it's all about presentation and how it's done, in this case very poorly it seems. I'm not surprised though. Okay it is no surprise that Destiny suffers from a LOT of problems. My question is, Fukuda's other series, do they suffer just as bad or are they surprisingly good? I've noticed that a LOT of the racing anime that he's done, other then the TV series are OVAs with short episode counts. I've kinda been of the opinion, due to the first 7 or so episodes of SEED Destiny which seem to be high in quality, that Fukuda was better off in doing shorter series with low episode counts. I wonder if people have felt that was true when it came to his other series he's done. Is it?
-
What's the title of that episode?
-
Honestly there doesn't seem to be any type of filler in this series. Every episode contains character development that's important to the story I feel. Just because each episode doesn't make some grand bit of information about the enemy known doesn't mean it's filler or filler like. Filler would be if there was no character development, if nothing about the characters changed or if it was all slapstick comedy. It was interesting to see the development on Lihua though and more of her backstory with Glen and Sirius. I don't think she and Apollo have had that much intereaction so that was nice to see in this episode as well. It looked like she's finally over her "I cause misfortune" problem or at least finally working through it but I wonder what happen to Glen. I was surprised to see those kids still alive though.

Considering that Gaia is a Gundam and ZAFT just got it back, one would expect it to be under heavy guard when not in service unless they want another repeat of when it was first stolen. Which begs the question, exactly how did they get their hands on it? And even if they stole it, wouldn't they've had to fight off forces coming after them? It's not really a simple answer I would think. Not everything needs to be explained since there are times when the view can assume certain things in a story but I don't think it's one of them. People can assume characters shower and go to the bathroom. We don't have to see. Yet when you see one side have a Gundam, under guard and then later on you see it with another group, completely customized and it's said to be the same machine, answers are needed. You can assume they stole it but exactly how is a big question since it isn't an easy thing to steal and why wasn't it reported stolen or shown to be reported storle if it's such an important machine?
