I built one once. They are not detailed at all and and basically the sculpt isn't good either. Alittle difficult to assemble and you have to really modify some pieces to get them to fit. But they are great for customizing. That's what I am doing now. I took it and gave it a more up-dated look. I am currently trying to add "Mylene" style hair. Makybe someday I will cast it as a resin kit. On a side note they are great to keep in the box and are realitivly rare. If you ever get one, hold on to it. It will most likely increase in value. I think those guys were smart when they decided to put those panties on Minmay. Imagine if they got lazy and didn't paint those things on. heh...you should try to make it to Wonder festival or the World Hobby Expo. Some of the smaller gashapon dealers tend to remove the clothes and add the details.... ...I will leave the rest to your imagination. I am sure that the new and improved Macross girls will make thier appearance in the up-coming Hobby Shows.....(not that I look at those types of things..... ) Rob MN

Actually that is a pretty good price. I have seen them sell on yahoo Japan for close to $90.00 just for that special figure.
