How much did Hasbro pay DC to borrow the design of Batman’s gauntlets?

Yeah, it’s kinda how I look at Yellow’s Ride Armor: I wish it was a lighter blue, so you could see the black MB markings on the shoulder. But it’s not a deal-breaker. I’d prefer a more consistent red throughout the Zeta. But it didn’t stop me from preordering.

I used to have the first four Toynami Alphas and two blue Betas. Since I literally waited YEARS until they released the Betas, there’s no way in hell I’ll ever let them go. So, I’m kinda obligated to keep the two blue Alphas, as well. One of the blue Alphas had its hips break into a billion pieces. So, it’s literally held together and still standing with the help of paper clips. I eventually sold the Greenie and the Shadow (no spot to display them). Plus, they had issues that made them more finicky than usual. But despite taking a few stage dives and getting broken in the process, I wound up keeping the red Alpha. I liked its solid red color scheme that much: I also already got a display spot ready for the Zeta girl (and any potential matching Tread they’ll hopefully release): And Houquet’s Ride Armor should lean more red, not pink. Even though I preferred a more greyish, lighter blue, I was okay with the darker blue on Yellow. That won’t be the case with Houquet if she’s this hot pink.

Is it bad that I'm already eyeballing the Yen-to-USD exchange rate to figure out when I should pay? And yes, Sentinel needs to keep the Red Harbinger of Recessions(TM) in RED Ride Armor! #QuitFuke-ingWithHouquet

It’s bad enough they have her in hot pink. Now, they’re snapping butt pics of Houquet: They didn’t do that to Stick! #QuitFuke-ingWithHouquet Despite some nits with the inconsistent colors and with the pinky pilot, I’m in for one.

Nah, Yellow’s Inbit girlfriend can have the pink Ride Armor (with dark purple trim). It fits better with her uniform color scheme. EDIT: Shawn, try the link @Snake Eyes posted earlier: http://www.tatsunoko.co.jp/news/3462

There’s a few other threads down in The Workshop section showing off mods to other custom SDF-1’s: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/forum/23-the-workshop/ There’s also @nightmareB4macross’s “customized to the hilt” version: He gave a ton of tips on how to add more articulation and features to the old toy. I had a few mistakes here and there, but the final product came out pretty good: It helps that the one I bought off of eBay had busted shoulders out of the box. Gave me the incentive to fix her up.

I’m hoping NOT, and they revert back to the more red hue they showed when they first announced that Houquet was upcoming: The hot pink won’t mesh with the rest of her Ride Armor crew.

You ever thought of tweaking or modding the old Matchbox mothership?

For the fighter shelf, you could have them flying at each other. Or depending on the space, crisscrossing or pulling off barrel rolls, Cobra maneuvers, or other odd angle poses. Just showing how crazy a dogfight in these birds can be. For the Gerwalks, Mexican standoffs could work. Don’t forget that DD does do that weird “use the head as a periscope” bit while in Gerwalk.

Agreed. She’s always been red. No need to change it up now.

Well, I would hope that my cargo of frozen chicken and well-aged medium rare ribeye roasts would still be delicious and nutritious at the quantum level. Or else, it would be no different than eating algae paste like a haggard Galactica Colonial.

I’m guessing it’s supposed to be like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book or Black Mirror: Bandersnatch or like most BioWare RPG’s. The tension isn’t so much in the decision itself, but what happens afterwards. Of course, some of those “innocent” choices winds up with you dead or accidentally killing off people unexpectedly. It’s one way to get repeat viewings or play value out of some entertainment: trying to get all of the main endings/results.

I’m hoping the red is a relatively consistent tone. The Zeta’s the only Legioss that’s mostly a solid color (with minimal white trim). No need to muck that up with two or more red tones.

They can add more to the story, but it shouldn’t contradict anything that happened in Rebels. That ending between Maul and Obi is too perfect already. No need to muck it up.

Kinda trippy to see Adam without the close-crop balding hairdo. And does this mean that Olivia Munn’s 15 minutes of fame are up, or did her deal with the devil run out?

And knowing the Feds, they probably classified it as a defense courier vessel. Kinda like how they classified the over-powered, over-gunned, “built to fight the Borg” Defiant as an “escort” vessel.

At least they packed the ponchos and trench coat with the figures.

Guess the Feds figured they could take the Maquis’ idea and improve upon it.

You and me both. Unintentionally, I seem to have a red-blue theme going with my displays.

Don’t put that kind of evil on us, sqidd! I wonder if the headfin can be tilted back in fighter mode for the Zeta. Seems kinda un-aerodynamic to be pointing forward.
