  1. The show is actually available on Disney+.
  2. She was already a full-on adult around the time of Star Wars Rebels (just before the Rogue One timeframe). So assuming same growth rate as humans, late 20's/early 30's at that point? So, she's probably in her 40's by the time of Mando and Baby Yoda. Edit: Or just figure, she's probably 15 to 20 years old than Luke.
  3. Definitely was fun making customs for and from this line. In any case, “Leaders lead from the front”:
  4. Nope, that's the 25th anniversary fig's from over 10 years ago.
  5. The best LRRP crew around:
  6. Still a fan of viewing Star Wars using Machete Order (IV, V, II, III, and VI). https://www.nomachetejuggling.com/2011/11/11/the-star-wars-saga-suggested-viewing-order/ All the other stuff can be viewed as side stories/supplemental material . . . of varying quality. That's how I introduced it to my kiddos, and I'm kinda glad I went that route. Too many advantages and too few drawbacks about going with this order. EDIT: A bunch of folks have used scenes from that Galaxy of Adventures to come up with anime style OP's for Star Wars.
  7. What’s nice is that if you look at his fights in Rebels (maybe even Rogue One), Vader does show that tendency to start off playing with his prey. He’s not exactly an efficient, “one shot-one kill” kinda lightsaber fighter.
  8. My only nit is that the timbre of Rosario’s voice is a little lower and darker in sound quality. Whereas, Ashley’s voice for Ahsoka is a little higher pitched, kinda like a typical Disney princess voice. Even the voice she used in Rebels, despite Ahsoka being older, still maintained this higher timbre/quality. Physically, I have no qualms that Rosario can pull off Ahsoka the White. It’s just that the voice will feel slightly off.
  9. I’d rather have the voice actresses take a shot at performing their characters in live action, especially for Ahsoka and Sabine. But we’ll see. Nothing against Rosario, but I have my preferences after hearing those distinct voices for so many years.
  10. She’s a cruel mistress, that Red-Armored Harbinger of Recessions: Seriously though, I do hope Sentinel is managing through the latest economic and heath issues. I really do want to see the main Ride Armor crew completed in a larger scale.
  11. Looks like NY is putting Sentinel's Yellow/Blow Superior on sale for Y17,300: https://www.nippon-yasan.com/figures/27893-riobot-vr-041h-blow-superior-yellow.html Might be rolling the dice with the potential cracked part, but that is quite a discount.
  12. I did like seeing the dark side shades in Anakin. Keeping a Jedi away from his senator nookie is dangerous to anyone's health. My only question is wouldn't Tech and Echo be kind of a duplication of function?
  13. Now, that's a name I've not heard in a long time. Before the dark times... before the M*pire. * M = Mouse
  14. Sequel trilogy? What are you talking about? Luke married a hot Force-wielding redhead, re-established the Jedi Order, and had a kid.
  15. Just add salt and lime, it makes the Corona a little more tolerable
  16. That’s why ya gotta bag ‘em up.
  17. So, I wound up going through all of Season 3 last night. Can something be so freakin’ good . . . and a bit too much at the same time? Even considering the past two seasons, Season 3 can be too gratuitous at times (in more ways than just the goriness). And depending on your sensibilities and tastes, it can be a bit much. But damn is the character work off the charts here! Much like Season 2, this season starts off slow then gets crazy closer towards the end. But I honestly didn’t mind the leisurely pace of the beginning. It gave the characters a chance to breathe and just be. The character work and “quieter” moments this season were nice ways to give depth to most of the characters. I know Isaac is a villain with an insane goal, but all the foils he gets to interact with really elevated his story arc. Gonna be an interesting Season 4.
  18. Honestly, I’m intrigued and curious to see how this all pans out. Been really wanting a detective Batman film for awhile now. Other than having too many villains in the film, nothing that’s been revealed has been outright horrible (ala the first iteration of live action Sonic the Hedgehog). So far, I’m willing to give this Batman a shot.
  19. Doubt it. Everyone seems to be pointing that this will be a detective noir film. We already got the femme fatale in Selina Kyle. We’ll probably have a gunsel henchman that roughs up and gets ultimately beaten by Bats. And I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a few scenes that play with light and shadows and are filled to the brim with wisps of smoke, interplaying with the lighting. And if Pattinson starts riffing soliloquys and monologues in a Humphrey Bogart voice, we’ll know for certain they went full tilt on the noir aspects.
  20. Seriously, Rian Johnson should have had Luke drop hints about why he doesn’t want to train Rey, keep mentioning how his dad fell to the dark side, and then throw the “subverting expectations” twist by having Luke say he ISN’T Rey’s father.
  21. The hardest task for these writers and creators can be summed up as such: being respectful while not being a rehash or a worse replacement. No matter how much they try to deny it, their work is gonna be compared to/scrutinized against all the already existing films, the Filoni animated stuff, the Gennedy T. stuff, the EU, and all the other media and video games that came before. And if it replaces anything from these various sources, it needs to be “better” than what came before. Throw in the usual continuity and consistency issues with such a long-lived franchise, and you can see the huge challenge they face.
  22. Considering none of the live action Batman films have really shown much of his World’s Greatest Detective aspects, I’m curious to see how this film pulls it off, as well as its more noir take.
