  1. Thanks for the pic. Wonder if the elbow articulation can pose similar to this: Been waffling back and forth whether to add Misa next to my TV SDF-1 display.
  2. Personal pet peeve: I really hate that the stickers were NOT mirror-imaged on the Sky Striker. Drove me batty, especially after getting spoiled with the Macross and Mospeada birds. Shameful Moggy plug, I did do a few custom touches to the Sky Striker back in the day: https://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-joe-customs-finished-projects/142652-minor-custom-touches-skystriker-ace.html
  3. Can her arm articulation do a saluting pose?
  4. Curious which version of the Sky Striker that is. The re-release they did a few years back was more grey but had black tailfins. Also, not sure how well the 25th Anniversary figs fit in the old two-seater configuration, unless the person you bought it off of made some modifications.
  5. Wonder if they’ll still do the “Hello. . . Nurse!!” bits? As for other characters, I wouldn’t mind Chicken Boo making a dumb cameo.
  6. ^^Needs 13k backers total. Already closing in on 11k as of today. The four blockheads are: * Blue bounty from first episode; * Rodian (like Greedo); * Male human bounty; and * Female human bounty.
  7. But to echo what @505thAirborne said, the fighter combo is shite. And the yellow array on the Tread sticks up incorrectly in bomber mode. None of the lineart ever showed the yellow array positioned the way CM’s has it.
  8. I always liked this song, but despised that most radio stations play it back-to-back with “Jaded.” I just prefer Brain Stew as a stand-alone song.
  9. Don't forget that in Season 1 But let's see what they do for Season 3. They took a concept a lot of us initially thought would suck, and actually made it into something enjoyable and entertaining.
  10. Should that be STICK or STIG? It's a good thing the MW boards are not ruled by a merciless REY, because we'd all be FUKE'd, issued YELLOW card warnings, and would probably have to pay a huge MINT of a fine.
  11. Sometimes you make your own family:
  12. A billion slow panning shots of the ship at every single conceivable angle AND lense flare?!
  13. From what I read, Filoni did it as an homage to the WWII bomber nose arts. However, he eventually decided against it and wrote in the Anakin-Padme long-distance holo-call instead. Considering we only see Padme once in Season 7, he figured the holo-call would be a better tie-in/callback to ROTS. Just FYI, the nose art writing translates to “Good to be Bad.”
  14. Why am I only discovering this now? Wonder if anyone has done this nose art on a Republic gunship toy?
  15. Added some ARC troopers to the 501st’s ranks:
  16. So after unboxing the 501st ARC’s and messing with them, here’s my impressions. CON’s: * The weapons are definitely a bit rubbery and more “bendy” than previous versions. * The chest armor/shoulder pauldrins piece does tend to move around a lot. * Leg movement is definitely hindered by the plastic kama skirts. * Jesse’s helmet shouldn’t have the fin and drop-down sensor on it. PRO’s: * Each figure is loaded for bear, sporting dual pistols, a blaster, and a rifle. * Paint apps on the faces and helmets are spot on. * Even though they’re the same mold, Hasbro did more than enough with the paint apps to make each ARC have his own unique look. * Each figure is articulated to the hilt, including ball hinged wrists, rocker ankles, and ball hinged hips. * Although it’s a little hard to get to and move (without also moving the ball hinge hip joint), the figures also have an additional swivel joint, where the upper white thigh armor meets the black part of the legs. * The blaster can be mounted to the backpack, and the rifle can also be squeezed onto the backpack in two spots, allowing you to store all the weapons on the figure and/or change their layout a bit. TIPS AND CUSTOM TOUCHES: * When removing the helmet, I’ve found pinching the helmet just a little bit from the front and back helps to make taking it off a little easier. * In order to be more screen accurate, I trimmed the fin off Jesse’s helmet and cut off, thinned out, and then repainted the drop-down sensor. * If wanting to get wider stances and poses with the legs, you can try cutting the bottom straps (that make an “X”) from the skirt. I only cut one strap on one figure, but it did allow for a wider A stance: In any case, more pics: The 501st Legion’s specialists and leaders:
  17. SEND IN THE CLONES!!
  18. A bunch of “Shiny‘s”!

    1/55's revisited

Didn’t @takatoys also make sticker or decal sets back in the day too? I remember getting a set for the Yammy 1/60 YF-19 V1 way back when.
  20. I’ve said it before, but I really hope Miguel’s dad isn’t someone from the previous movies. But yeah, we got more things to look forward to in 2021 (in addition to it no longer being 2020).
  21. Can we add Kevin Conroy to that mix and just have them voice act? Hamill could be some crazy agent of chaos, Conroy could play a rich guy with TONS of issues, and Stewart could play some cold-hearted dude with a sad backstory. (Moggy’s still not bitter over never seeing Stewart play Mr. Freeze! ) . . . In other Trek tangents, I always thought one of the guest actresses in TOS sounded like Dr. Pulaski from TNG. Turns out it actually was the same actress in both TOS and TNG. Yes, Moggy’s an idiot that only learned and confirmed that yesterday.
  22. Season 2 (or second half of Season 1) started up yesterday. Definitely always a visceral experience.
  23. Curious how your custom looks compared to the shelled up Hasbro Clone Wars version. Does the Clone Wars one still look undersized or somewhat “passable”?
