  1. I’m despising that fat bellyplate that becomes part of the backpack even more. Such a garbage design choice. Looking at Bandai’s transformation process makes me appreciate Yamato’s design even more. It’s not exactly perfect and can be frustrating at times. But the design choices were simple but effective.
  2. Beskar seems to block lightsaber hits, but I’ve never seen it turn off a saber before. Did these idiots just bulk make their lightsabers? And where the hell is Huyang to teach these idiots how to make a proper saber?
  3. I’m hoping they release it after the Ride Armor re-releases.
  4. The problem is they’re slow as hell in getting any toys out. Don’t know if it’s a Hasbro thing or a Disney thing. But it doesn’t do them any favors.
  5. Season 2 of Mando was solid though. I personally didn’t mind Season 3, but I understand why some folks got tired of the fetch-quests.
  6. So, is the bike transformable. Or just extra parts to add armor to base figure?
  7. . . . Or just say that Whale-Headed Jedi is someone else. Galaxy is big enough, and you don’t draw attention to the sticky Sith situation.
  8. They’re using the FP armor to hide how short the hip-guard/bellyplates are. And they placed the battroid in such a way inside the display to make it hard to see how thick the backpack is.
  9. I think the headache is twofold: * The dude isn’t supposed to be alive during this timeframe. * He’s the guy that actually says the line in The Phantom Menace that they haven’t heard a peep from the Sith in over a thousand years. So yeah, putting in the credits that it’s the same character AND that’s like his one memorable line in the entire prequel trilogy kinda irks folks. A lot of unnecessary mental gymnastics for a cameo that really causes more headaches than need be. . . . Because there’s that Sithy like dude ready to off some Jedi with a RED lightsaber. Could have just said it’s a Jedi of the same species without opening that whole can of worms. I personally found it to be an unnecessary link, but I’m more annoyed with the sudden change of heart from Mae. Not enough was developed OR SHOWN to make the turn seem convincing.
  10. Wasn’t this pretty much the entire MCU thru Endgame (with a few exceptions)?
  11. Or a rack of ribs or a tomahawk steak.
  12. Still need to see side profile pics in battroid mode for both backpack orientations. For all the pics shown over the years, I don’t recall seeing many (if any) of the battroid standing on its own two feet.
  13. Because we have a 15+ year old example of what a properly proportioned YF-21 fighter mode AND a battroid mode with a nicely proportioned backpack are supposed to look like.
  14. If you have problems getting the screws to move, try this set-up: Push down on the screwdriver and use the adjustable wrench to torque until you hear a pop/squeak. Got most of those old suckers to open with this technique.
  15. Unless you can get a good angle on those screws in the main tower and the radar part, you probably have to unscrew a whole bunch of stuff to properly access the tower and the radar components (that the antenna are all locked into). Considering their size, I’m sure someone has already 3D printed these antenna parts. Either that, or just superglue the bits back into place (if possible?).
  16. Is it bad that every time I see “Low-Vis,” I automatically think of the 1/48 grey one?
  17. Also, new ANH Luke, Obi-Wan, Han, and Chewie are in the pipeline for the TVC line.
  18. Even though it was leaked earlier, Hasbro finally pulled the trigger: https://hasbropulse.com/products/star-wars-the-vintage-collection-mos-eisley-cantina Cue up the band:
