  1. RIP, Detective Gee.
  2. Congrats and an advanced welcome to the Macross parentals club! Someone once told me the days are looooong, but the years go by fast. It’s a pretty accurate statement. Enjoy all the upcoming moments, and try to get some extra sleep now.
  3. ^^Reminds me of the steampunk Star Wars figures a customizer did many years ago.
  4. Sadly, I don’t think I’ve ever heard any of their songs over the radio out here. But I do enjoy the attitude of both their lead singer and their instrumentals.
  5. The official video’s a “tad” risqué, but the song itself is a swanky little rocker.
  6. Welp, that was a middling ending. Just set-up for future stories, but didn’t really resolve this actual story soundly. Feels kinda like Age of Ultron where the movie itself was weak, because it has to serve all sorts of different masters to get characters to where they need to be for their own individual movies.
  7. But your original response with the Schrodinger's Cat analogy is crap, because it's not two mutually exclusive events: you get BOTH nameplates. You can observe BOTH of them in the box at the SAME time. It's not an dead Golion OR an alive Golion. Or a proverbial Golion OR Stoplion. It's a Golion nameplate AND a Voltron nameplate, regardless of whether you purchase the Japanese or American release.
  8. Then why buy it at all, if it’s just sitting in a box? Bottom line: if you’re worried about there being any differences between the Japanese and American releases (with the actual toy inside, NOT the box itself), there ain’t any differences.
  9. It may not have the extra slip-cover, but the Japanese releases had both the “Golion” and the “Voltron” nameplates for the weapons display stand.
  10. They tried to send the game’s code to Nintendo using a Cat’s Eye transport. But the Zent’s kept blowing the plane up.
  11. I wouldn’t go so far as to call Battlecry a dumpster fire. A middling game with some annoyingly crap levels? Yes. But nowhere near dumpster fire levels. Now, Robotech: Invasion? Yeah, that’s definitely a smoking, steaming poop, 5 alarm, Grade A dumpster fire.
  12. Bandai’s preorder process is utter garbage at this point.
  13. Needs to be more pukey and putrid yellowish-green.
  14. Poor Rey or Yellow will be stuck rocking the day-glow highlighter green!
  15. Looks like it’s the exact same release they did the previous two times. Same accessories and everything. Just be ready for the “typical” Bandai pre-order insanity.
  16. I’m just itching to see when Sentinel will show off a colored prototype for the Bartley ride armor. Though, I wouldn’t be surprised if they go with the Iota(?) Legioss first, since it just needs a different head and probably a tweaked bike.
  17. It’s be nice to see this bastard realized in toy form: But I doubt Bandai will ever make it.
  18. I like steaks too, but I prefer a rib roast: Or tomahawk:
  19. Well, considering they had their 12 colonies utterly annihilated, it’s understandable why they would have some “angst.” Give BSG credit for taking an established franchise and giving it a crapload of depth and development. Instead of devolving into something like Star Trek Voyager, it gave us some good stories and gave us characters with some depth, where even the good guys did some questionable actions. And they may not have had a full ending planned out, but they ended it well enough for me.
  20. Thanks for posting this. Most reviews back in the day called the Evolution Toy version crap. But it was nice to see exactly WHY in jenius’ comparison.
  21. Ron Moore’s BSG would like to have a word with you. Don’t get me wrong: I’ve been enjoying The Expanse, and it’s definitely up there with all the best sci-fi TV series of all time. But I’m not ready to give it the top crown just yet.
