  1. That goes without saying. #HouquetRouge
  2. Black with gray or grayish-purple trim would be nice.
  3. As long as it’s AFTER we get Houquet and the Bartley. So, new engine intakes, claw hands, synchro canon. . . any other differences I’m forgetting? Be nice if they go with black instead of dark purple too for the main color. And would Sentinel go with a bright violet pilot just to spite us?
  4. The Volume really does check off a lot of boxes in terms of saving production costs (don’t have to wait for perfect lighting, can change up the set quickly) and in terms of really immersing the actors into the set. Considering all the green screen the prequel actors were forced to play against, the Volume is probably a massive help to get actors into character.
  5. Rewatched a little of the Clone Wars microseries. Some bits are ridiculously over the top. But damn did they make Grievous a vicious, damn-near unstoppable buzzsaw!
  6. I totally forgot about that odd white bit, hanging off the left side of the head. Been so long since I had a greenie Alpha, that I had to check @jenius’ site to confirm if the Toynami had that bit too.
  7. Went with them for the Zeta before. Price comes with DHL shipping with tracking, and got it within a week of the official release date.
  8. More pics here: https://hobby.dengeki.com/news/1218672/amp/?__twitter_impression=true Looks like another new rifle attachment: And looks like Yellow is the pilot mold: EDIT: Unlike Bandai, the pre-order process for these isn’t insane.
  9. I could see Varma as a Mandalorian, just not that particular Mando. I doubt we’ll see Ahsoka, but you never know. I’m just curious if we’ll see Hett pop up. Allows you to build a story that crosses both the Clone War and post-ROTS periods. And more importantly, keeps Obi on Tatooine, guarding the sun-staring farmboy.
  10. So . . . Bad Batch + Precocious Kid (TM) Of course, Ahsoka and Ezra started out the same way and grew to become memorable additions to Star Wars lore. So, we’ll see how that pans out. Also, spotted Rex in one of those scenes. Probably will explain how he got Wolfe and Greggor, perhaps? And I’ve probably said this in another thread, but don’t Tech and Echo kinda perform the same function for the team?
  11. Ice Cube, Jr. is part of the cast?! I’m really hoping we see some flashbacks or part of the story takes place during the Clone Wars proper. https://www.starwars.com/news/obi-wan-kenobi-series-cast
  12. So, I got a some extra acrylic display stands, decided to split up Vehicle Voltie, and redo the display:
  13. I took the plunge. Figured as a guy of Southeast Asian or a Pacific Islander descent (depending on how you classify Filipinos), I should support a film about the region and its cultures. Plus (heh!) when you factor how much the movie tickets would’ve cost for me, the wifey, and our brood of munchkins, we come out slightly ahead. In any case, the film’s alright. I agree with a reviewer that said the main theme is kinda rammed at the viewer repeatedly. But nothing in the film felt overly dumb. And there’s definitely good things to like about the film. As a music guy, I kinda like Soul more. But Raya’s got its merits too.
  14. They’re already bringing in the racial issues. And much like Wanda, the two mains are now having to deal with their pasts and issues. Probably will be more “standard” MCU fare, but I like the characters and curious to see where they go from here. I’m also a big fan of this version of Zemo: he doesn’t have any special powers or financial backing. He’s just a special forces soldier. BUT he was successful in fracturing the Avengers. Hope they keep that aspect going for him here. Plus, Daniel Bruhl is a sneaky good actor. Didn’t realize that the guy who played Nikki Lauda in Rush was the same guy who played the Nazi sniper in Inglorious Basterds.
  15. First impressions of Falcon & Winter Soldier? Alright, with some first episode jitters. Action scenes were solid but kinda forgettable. But I enjoyed all the character bits much more. I feel like an extended cut or a few extra lines would have helped to flesh out some minor parts a little better like: But overall, I like where they put the characters post-Stark snap and am curious to see where they take this story.
  16. The Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars is coming to the + on April 2nd, along with some other old Star Wars stuff: https://www.polygon.com/platform/amp/star-wars/2021/3/16/22334599/star-wars-clone-wars-genndy-tartakovsky-streaming-disney-plus-ewoks
  17. Well, it’s a good thing that Sentinel has a couple other toy lines they’re producing. Makes me hopeful that they’ll remain viable. <Knocks on wood> Just make sure our girl is rocking RED!
  18. Kind of a bummer. But understandable. Pretty much just a head swap, and tweak the bike mold (depending if they go with Rey or Yellow as the pilot), right? Wonder what additional goodies they’ll put in to differentiate this from their other Legioss releases? BTW, any indication of when we can expect to see a colored prototype of Houquet and the Ride Armor?
  19. * They apparently have Pokémon Go in a galaxy far, far away. * What game doesn’t have any side quests? * Eevee gives a +3 boost to Cal’s Force powers.
