I’m probably gonna tear through those episodes quick. So, I understand Netflix wanting to slow down the binge, and leave the show in folks’ mind for a longer period of time.

Well, no externally mounted gunpods on the -22’s. So, automatic win there. 🤦🏻♂️

For the price being charged, why not just pack it separated but securely? They already did that with the exhaust paddles. How can the same company that churns out quality SOC’s be the same one that designed and made this?

He’d probably bring some clones armed with AK-47’s, because “when you absolutely, positively gotta kill every last muthaeffin’ nerfherder in the room, accept no substitute!” -
If Sentinel can just remove a lot of that gappy-ness the Toynami Beta has in bomber mode, integrate a full size cockpit for the transformation process, make the connections (PLURAL) more solid with the Legioss, and toss in some nice weapon accessories, it’ll be a bloody home run.

Nah, the TV style ones are all 1/48’s. Plus, they’re all on DVD covers that act as risers. The DYRL Max on the left is a 1/60 scale figure.

^^As long as it doesn’t devolve into Force throwing big rocks at each other. Don’t need that sort of garbage either. I so wish Obi and Vader threw more psychological nukes at each other instead. -

Apparently, there’s a number of different forms of saber combat. Palps was able to wipe the floor with most of the styles, except for Mace (who used a very unique form. . . aka Samuel L. Muthaeffin’ Jackson’s own personal damn style). In the case of Smilo, it seems the High Republic Jedi emphasized Form III (the most defensive style) during those temple training scenes. Add in Smilo’s hack, and he had the obvious advantage. Why none of the Jedi used any Force moves on the dude is anyone’s guess though. -
Also, Stig hops into the Tread to take down that humanoid Inbit in the last battle. It just looks like a beast. Connecting to the Legioss is just icing on the proverbial cake.

Just for “gits and shiggles,” here’s a comparison of the Yamato 1/60 M+ Valks in battroid modes: Yes, the Omega has a very wide A-stance in both pics, but it gives you at least a starting point for comparisons.

The other weird thing is that Bandai tapered the arms as they move closer to the hands and gave them a bigger upward angle as they go towards the wrists (moreso than Yamato). These choices also cause the forearms to look smaller.

Rather interesting take/translation by the YouTube algorithm 😗 😅

Thanks for the additional info. I honestly didn’t know that he didn’t design the Tread.

It’d be nice if all these sketches led to an announcement of the Sentinel Tread being finally released.

Don’t sully Clone Wars Maul like that. Dude really only had two goals: 1) Kill/hurt Obi-Wan. 2) Get back to a position of power after being cast aside. Everything else pales in comparison to those two objectives. Considering how dumb the original idea sounded, they actually made the horned bastard a much more interesting character in Clone Wars and Rebels. -
I don’t know if it’s the arms or the backpack throwing off the proportions, but it looks a little scrawny in battroid mode.

Wonder how hard it would be to Frankenstein the legs off this and place them onto the Yamato and then replace the Bandai’s short bellyplates/hip-guards with the longer Yammie ones?

Needs more Allen wrenches.

At this point, who do we have as characters to still root for? Sol’s probably hiding some secret, but might turn out to still be sympathetic. Qimir is just chaotic evil. Osha hasn’t shown much strength and has been portrayed as a weak putz. Mae flip-flops, depending on what the plot demands of her. I guess they want to show the cracks and decay developing in the Jedi. But you have to show them as having at least some redeeming qualities. Or else, you really don’t care if they all die. -
But the prices are definitely higher than the Detolf’s. That was one of their advantages. And if you lived relatively close to an IKEA, that was another plus too.

There’s a ton of mind blowing science we can teach our kiddos just with planets and their exploration. But getting back on topic, it’s kinda annoying that IKEA stopped making the Detolfs. They have their limitations, but it was a relatively inexpensive, efficient, and clear way to organize your collectibles and be able to see them from multiple angles.

Someone correct me if my memory is failing me, but didn’t the Yamato have the lowers arms extend down to cover the hands and extend the length a bit for fighter mode? Then for battroid, it gets pushed up, exposing the hands and shortening the arm length?
-
Oh look, nothing for the TVC line.
-
Nah, combining two very different design traditions in the VF-1 and Q-Rau and making something that meshes beautifully together? Sure doesn’t sound like Bandai engineers! . . . At least the ones that designed this rendition.

I think they went “thicc-er legs” and then stopped at that.
