  1. Season 4, May 13th "Why the f*@k would anyone do that?"
  2. Yup, that’s the one. I only have one GBP armor, so I’m good. If there were to be some Misa ones, I wouldn’t mind one that was like someone’s old “Sour Puss” avatar (for those folks looking for something more on the comical side of things). Or a sketch of Ryuji’s ridiculously good kitbashed models/figurines (for those looking for something more in line with the classic WWII nosearts).
  3. Wonder if @Anasazi37 still makes stickers. I remember there was a set of nose-art designs that could spruce/“spice” up the inner part of the GBP leg armor. Just wish there was a design or two for Misa.
  4. No Thunder Hammer armor, @Kicker773?
  5. At the very least a top hat. Nothing says classy like rubber-suit ‘zilla rocking a top hat.
  6. I suspect the serum was a threat escalator. Without their serum, Sam and Bucky should be able to handle the un-enhanced Flag Smashers. Without the serum, the Flag Smashers become your garden variety terrorists (or freedom fighters, take your pick ). Without the serum, there would be no need to bust Zemo out of jail. Without the serum (and being whupped by the Dora Milaje), Johnny Boy wouldn’t be motivated to inject himself with the super-soldier serum. It’s the plot macguffin that the story revolves around. I’m just glad they were able to add some layers and subtext to that plot device.
  7. Oh, that optimism wavered a bit. But he kept getting up and trying. They really did a good job of showing Sam earning and owning the mantle, which I doubt would have worked as well in a shorter movie format.
  8. Finally got a chance to watch the whole thing. No longer feels like it's trying to be "Avengers but done with DC characters." It's definitely long, but a tighter story with more moments for all the characters to be given more depth. You could probably subtitle this cut: Justice League: Daddy/Father-Figure Issues (half-joking, half-serious). I can see why Ray Fisher was ticked: In this cut, Cyborg's absolutely front and center to the core of the story and grows the most out of all the heroes. They also spread the wealth, so that each of the main heroes and the Amazonians get their "boss" moments. TL:DR Version: Bit of a slog to get through, but a solid story. All that said though,
  9. Resurrecting this thread for some worthy additions. You can probably pick any scene from these two series, but these are some notable ones: Dude knows he can't escape and just says, "Screw it. Time to fight 'em.": Someone re-edited this to make it in chronological order. Usually it was Daredevil dishing out the hurt, but here he meets his match: Frank Castle: Ass-Kicker, no, DESTROYER: And ending it with the scene that made you realize a karambit is a vicious close-range weapon:
  10. Yeah, it was pretty cheesy. Yes, I know the game had all those elements and such. But maybe I got spoiled by The Raid, its sequel, and those fight sequences in Netflix Daredevil. But other than that first fight scene, I didn’t get that visceral DAMN feeling.
  11. Slight changes which balanced out the display a little better and integrated the lions and vehicles just a bit more:
  12. Yeah, red schemes with blue trim (especially primary blue) RARELY works.
  13. Trying to jog my memory, so I could be completely wrong. But before the black and gold trimmed versions were shown, I THINK Yamato showed off another prototype for the 25th Anni. color scheme. It was universally panned on these boards. Again, I could be completely mis-remembering all this. But it wasn’t anything I was interested in at the time. EDIT: @jenius saved pics for posterity: linky Adventure of Linky 2:  Electric Boogaloo Strikes Back
  14. The black and gold trim ones? Or is there another more colorful version I tried to erase from my memory?
  15. Or Jade. Or Tanya. Or Khameleon. Or Sub-Zero’s daughter. Or dead.
  16. Ah, the Golden Age, back when a variety of folks were pumping out customs of all sorts for the 1/48's, 1/60's, and the Chunky Monkeys. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!
  17. Am I the only one wondering what the hell happened to Hanzo's baby daughter? Guardedly optimistic and hoping the rest of the fights will be just as brutal.
  18. Someone who can come up with a damn good, coherent story. Some nice choreographed dogfights that make smart use of quickly switching back and forth between the three modes and some memorable characters would be nice too.
  19. Going old school:
  20. As much as I dig Ivanov's Anti-Pope ride, appreciate the Dobber SchemeTM, and liked the anime, I just never got into collecting the Zero crew. Not sure I'd call the actual toy crimson red though (Maybe in the display/final production pics). Toy itself seems to possibly be magenta, but definitely in the pink-purple range.
