    So, got this from the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum: Think this will be my first . . . and probably last of these folding metal models. Was kind of a challenge to make, especially without small enough wire cutters and tweezers. Wound up making a mess of things trying to get that perfect arch or separating parts from the sprue. And used globs of superglue to hold things together, when too many folds caused parts to break/sheer off.

    Don’t sully the name of the Tread. Those three massive, honking engine boosters overcome any aerodynamic issues! 😉

    I don’t mind the idea of Boba wanting to better the lives of fellow bounty hunters and the lives of his underlings. BUT there’s a way to do it without looking weak. Shoot a kneecap of the mayor’s admin. guy, as a “warning” for all the obvious disrespect. When he hires those Vespa kids, make it that he’s paying off their debt and that they now owe him and have to work for him. Or else.

    The biggest problem with BOBF was they nerfed the character. Even when compared to the Boba that showed up in Mandalorian, Boba in his own series was just too soft. They never should have went with the kinder, gentler daimyo idea. Have him want to change things and do things a little different. But make him a dude you think twice about crossing. It’s why I’m nervous about Disney taking Marvel’s Daredevil and Kingpin and softening them up compared to their portrayals in the Netflix series. Back to Andor though, Luthen’s been a breath of fresh air for Star Wars. Here’s a guy who does very questionable things, knows he’s doing questionable/immoral things, but convinces himself he’s doing it all for “the cause.”

    Little annoyed that Stellan Skarsgård didn’t get a nom for his portrayal of Luthen.

    I kinda get using the Volume for certain scenes. Kind of a pain to wait for the perfect lighting to film a scene and to be at the mercy of outside weather. I’d rather they use the Volume than rely on the old green-screens, especially if the Volume helps the actors get more into their characters and the scene. But again, it’s just one tool in the whole kit. Can’t spam it for everything, and they need to know when to use and when NOT to use it.

    Some rando observations: * I guess Sabine’s not rocking the Wren’s/bird’s eyes on her helmet anymore? Wonder why creative made that choice. * Trailer is still not showing the Ghost * Or Spectre 7 for that matter. EDIT: Nevermind, they just move the eyes more to the side of the helmet, and you can’t really see them in the trailer. Helmet pic reference:

    They already did Young Indiana Jones, so kinda hard to fill in any limited gaps. But they could always milk Henry Jones, Sr. Hire some young British or Scottish actor on the cheap, and pretty open as far as stories to fill.

    I’m not a big anime guy, but the only sci-fi one I’ve seen that’s post-2010 is Eureka Seven: Ao. But that thing was utter dog-poop and a frustratingly bad sequel to the original. In terms of live action sci-fi, The Expanse is easily one of the best series to come out in a long while. Yes, it can be slow sometimes, but the world-building is pretty damn top-notch. There is politics, but it’s politics that pertains to the world and cultures of that series itself.

    Would the old baking soda and superglue trick allow it to bond to the plastic? It’s been my recent go-to when the glue alone doesn’t hold or stick.

    🤷🏽‍♂️Yeah, anyone not rooted in the Venture story would have no clue what’s happening. Please let this be available for streaming.

    In fairness, one was part of an Amazon exclusive (Bad Batch 4 pack. . . featuring NONE of the Bad Batch). But it is the same damn character. . . just with the “correct” name (or the name they actually went with in the actual show that aired).

    My only experience is with the Zeta. But it’s easily the best Legioss/Alpha toy out there. Toynami’s diecast in all the wrong places make the Alpha difficult to pose. CMs Legioss can’t turn its head. Evolution Toys rendition has annoying issues. So by default, Sentinel’s is the best. BUT give them credit for compacting the fighter mode. And for coming up with a design change that keeps the nose cone from hanging so low in Soldier mode.
