It's all in good fun. Though, one of these days Graham's gonna drop an obvious hint on us (like "You have the Alpha, but I hold the OMEGA." or "Thunderbolt and Lightning.....very, very frightening me!") And we're all gonna interpret it 21 different ways but the right one.

<Puts pitchfork down after all the talk about the VF-11> So, does this mean we can expect 21 reasons to celebrate after the SV-51 is released?
  3. As much as I'm a fan of the Stealth/Low Viz schemes, I wouldn't mind the Supernova Blue scheme more. There's something "Max Jenius"-esque about the scheme that I just like (Plus, it's something a little different). Gotta agree with Valkyrie addict's earlier comments, as well: a Skull-Leader color-scheme would be pretty cool too. As I've said in other threads, the thing I don't like about this particular scheme is that the shield is just too light; I'd rather have the shield's color blend in more with the rest of the plane.
  4. Just to play devil's advocate here, Lee has always been just a bit of the idealist/"I believe in the system" type person, even during the mini-series. He sided with the Secretary-of-Education-turned-President in the mini-series against his dad's orders. He said that he understood (maybe even supported?) Zarak's fight back when he first met Zarak. And of course, he pulled the gun on Tigh during the Season 1 cliffhanger. I am a little surprised no ones thrown some flack at the Admiral for his part in Lee's actions. No doubt, Lee's gotta take the responsibility and burden for his actions against the President (And IF Baltar walks, Lee's gonna have to carry that huge-ass weight too.) But the Admiral didn't do himself any favors by giving Lee those law books, grounding him from flight duty, assigning him to guard Baltar's lawyer, and then chewing Lee out after Tigh's debacle on the witness stand. Hell, it's almost embarassing how differently the Admiral treats his own son compared to how he treats Tigh. A couple other random notes: * Even with my little rant above, I did like the episode AND the direction all the main characters were heading towards. * Loved that Helo-Gaeta scene when Gaeta delivered that deadpanned "Sure." .........Guess he hasn't gotten over that whole Tigh almost spacing him bit, has he?
  5. Thanks for the extra large pics, Graham. Any word on whether DD's crosses will be tampo'ed on? Also, I'm glad they didn't try to shoot the moon with the price.
  6. Not only is the guy a klepto, but he's a slimly, lie-to-save-his-client's-ass, Machiavellian-plotting, scum-bag lawyer. ...........Basically, the kind of lawyer you want defending you in a trial. I also liked the little character touches here and there in last night's episode. Gave us some nice bits of continuity there. So next week, we'll have a little Caprica Six/Tigh throw-down? That oughta be fun!!
  7. Well, there's at least one thing the CM's have already got over the Toynami versions: RATCHET-JOINTED GOODNESS!! Assuming they can hold the "aiming gun, arm out-stretched" pose, I'm sure we'll be fawning over these even more. ....Of course, I too wanna see a few more pics of the various modes and a colored, non-resin prototype before I start plunking down money on a pre-order.
  8. Thanks for all the pics, Graham! After looking again at the lineart pics posted earlier, I kinda wish the cockpit on the Tread was just a little bit wider. (Though, they probably made it that way for design compromises in all three modes.) We'll see how things progress with this as they get closer to the final production design. But I'm still excited and looking forward to this finally being released! P.S.--Nice work on coloring the prototype, Totoro 242. The coloring almost makes the issues with the chest intakes less noticeable.
  9. Thanks kensei. Had a little trouble getting that part of the leg open. But I was able to open it up just enough to access the necessary screw and tighten it. Now the wing can hold whatever pose I choose.
  10. Shouldn't Max's gun be pointed towards his hand? Damn "animation errors" are getting into our posing pics now!
  11. Sorry if this has been addressed already, but is there a quick fix to make the wing roots tighter? When I'm posing the 19 in Battroid mode, one of the wings on mine sags down if I pose it at certain angles.
  12. Really loved the Vipers flying through the clouds and the crisp shots of the Vipers mid-flight. For as much as she was trying to avoid her "destiny," a lot of this episode seemed focused on Starbuck tying up loose ends and saying goodbye (in her own way) to those closest to her. I kinda suspected Starbuck would "disappear" in this episode. And after a few scenes, it was pretty obvious what was going to happen. But given what we know about her character from past episodes, I thought the episode was fairly well-executed. I actually liked this "goodbye" episode a heck of a lot more than I did the "Kat dies" episode from a few months back. None of the plot-lines seemed to come out of left field, and everything in this episode was touched on and built up from earlier episodes. I'm definitely intrigued by where this new storyline may lead. And I believe my eventual opinion on this episode will depend heavily on how well future episodes follow up and develop this particular plot thread. In a way, I feel like I've only read the first chapter of a story and am trying to use that to judge my opinion on the entire book. This was definitely on the back-burner of my mind. We'll see if they start dropping hints about this later on this season or (more likely) next season.
  13. And he had a chunk of a carotid artery for a snack earlier this season (the vampire bite scene).
  14. I'm sure I could come up with a tacky joke there, but I'll pass. (Count me in as one of those who just doesn't like Misa's semi-"Leia Buns" hairdo.) As for Kaifun, if I were Hikaru, I'd get Kaifun a couple of bottles of alcohol. Get him as drunk as piss. And then start talking smack, calling him a pacifist "kitty" and telling him how many times I tapped his cousin's tight little tush (and how she LOVED it!). Hopefully, all the trash talking and alcohol will make Kaifun enraged enough to take a swing at me. With just that one moment of violence, I can break his pacifist vows, turn him into a hypocrite, and give him the stone-cold realization that a military dog utterly defeated him without ever lifting a finger against him. You see why waste your energy destroying your enemy, when you can manipulate him and make him destroy himself? <really need a devil-horned smiley here>
  15. No prob', Carl. They're from the 5-Disc ADV Films set for GCM. Disc 4 Disc 3, "Production Portfolio," to be exact.
  16. Great. Me and my big mouth. Just shoot me above my kneecap, so I can still walk. Please? I wanna live to see a Tread/Beta in my collection! In all seriousness, I'll have to rewatch the episode. I'm not sure I buy into how quickly the Admiral and Roslin eased off of their hard-line stance. But like I said, I'll need to watch the ep again. They did bring up some pretty heavy issues concerning the fleet and its unique situation. And I hope they'll address these issues again later down the line (I'd rather not have a nice and tidy resolution to all this stuff). Also, it was kinda cool to see Baltar switch accents there.
  17. Let's not give these guys any ideas about price, just yet. It's still too early in the production cycle. Once we see something closer to the finished product and get a better idea how well these things look in all three modes and all posed out, THEN we can start "negotiating."
  18. Had to look up some of the quotes to refresh my memory (damn donkey scene ). But are you talking about the "ATM" lines or the Pillow Pants troll?
  19. What? The token viper flight shot at the beginning wasn't enough.
  20. I'm kinda surprised no one's mentioned this yet: [attachmentid=40741] I'm glad to see some rachet joints on this bird. But assuming it could've held up the weight of the rest of the leg (and not compromised the fighter mode with floppiness), I'd rather this particular joint be a ball joint, ala the 1/48 Yammies. It'd give us a few more posing options in Soldier/Battloid mode.
  21. That's my guess too. It'll probably fold upwards to help to hide the cockpit and still let the Tread sorta look anime-accurate in Soldier(?) mode. But I'd still like to see how the Tread looks in fighter mode with that boom hidden, as if it were in mid-flight.
  22. Wait a minute. Misa regularly cleaned up Hik's place BEFORE they were officially an item, she apparently knows how to cook, she waited almost a whole freakin' day for Hik' to show up for their picnic (and only got pissed when she finally saw the initials on the scarf), she doesn't get in the way of Hik' doing his job, and she's a career woman with no aversion towards having kids. Yeah, I'd go after Misa. ............assuming she's sporting her DYRL hairstyle.
  23. One additional lineart pic of Legioss/Tread goodness (from the DVDs) to go with the ones from chowyunskinny: [attachmentid=40740]
  24. ^^Nani? Glad to see you BGC fans are getting some love too!
  25. It looks a little more stylized than what I'm used to seeing. But this is a good first start. Glad to see they're putting a cockpit on the Tread! Hopefully, we'll see a few more pics of both the Legioss and Tread in their various modes in the upcoming months, along with some painted prototypes and some pics of these toys in posed-out, bad-ass action. Assuming the price is reasonable, the joints are solid/tight, and a few touch-ups are made to these prototypes, I can easily see myself getting one of these. Perhaps, my Mog avatar will be making an appearance this year afterall.
