Hmm, are they going backwards in time with these trailers? The latest being the earliest, the Alderaan one being somewhere in the middle, and the fall of the Jedi Temple happenning a few years before this so-called cold war starts? Regarding the above trailer, just before the unmasking, I was wondering whether that was Revan weilding the double-saber. Guess, I was wrong. Thanks for the link!

Hmm, the head on your DSII Luke actually looks fairly decent. The original one on mine looked a lot worse (too wide looking), so I did the following headswap: It was a massive improvement.

GI Joe 30th Anniversary Line Fall 2011
Mog replied to Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
^^^This X 1000. I'm sure the Star Wars Vintage line fans and the Transformers Generations line fans will agree with us that these three lines have been getting the royal shaft this past year or so from Hasbro and/or their distributors. I have never seen POC Low-Light anywhere in my area and finally had to cave in to purchase one off eBay. Most of the nearby Walmarts don't even have any Joe stuff out on display anymore. And whenever I do see Joe stuff at a retailer, it's usually that freakin' Artic Destro or some other pegwarmer. Star Wars Vintage line? I consider myself lucky if I see anything from the Return of the Jedi wave or later. Transformers Generations? I guess someone at Hasbro thought Skullgrin would be a super-popular figure. Seriously, there's good demand for a lot of these figures, but where the hell is the supply? Hey Hasbro!! I really don't give a damn about your stupid movie tie-in toys. Is your business doing so great that you can afford to lose collectors who no longer wanna deal with all the headaches of trying to find your products? Fix the damn problem! Because, I'm sure you're company is not the one getting rich off of these higher mark-ups. -
The Blockade Runner from ANH? Or the Rebel Transport from Empire (that they use to escape from Hoth)?

In no particular order: * Ride On Shooting Star (FLCL) Nice balls-out rocking ending! * The World of Midnight (Black Lagoon) MASSIVE ASS SPOILER! AHEAD!! Beautiful, haunting, and bittersweet. Absolute perfect ending to a seriously dark, yet sad story. * Actually enjoy this one just a little more than The Real Folk Blues. Love the lyrics and dig its gospel/rock sound. * Smooth jazzy vibe with a great bass line. * Who's Theme (Samurai Champloo) (Full Version) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRI98Z5KRTE Yet another smooth, relaxing, chill song. Totally dig Minmi's voice on this track. * Diamond Crevasse (Macross Frontier) (from THAT episode) Another awesome blend of song and ending, working pefectly in harmony to send one another to incredible levels. * Runner (Last Episode, Original Macross): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYPZNhcOHwg After hearing it sung by a man for every single episode prior to this, it was pretty freakin' cool (and appropriate) to hear Mari sing it for the last ep.

Fully armored Mr. Opress: Linky. As an aside, it's absolutely shameful how Hasbro's been giving us collectors the proverbial shaft with the more collector-centered lines. Whether its the Vintage collection, Transformers Generations line, or GI Joe's non-movie lines, we tend to always get the short end of the stick when it comes to finding the products out in the brick-and-motar stores. Oh, but when it comes time to push your movies, there's never a shortage of those toys.

Sorry, but always loved Champloo's ENDINGS so much more. Surpised no one ever mentioned this wholesome, family diddy : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WftvTFxkopE

Most of my crap is TV, DYRL, or M+. Haven't been too motivated to get the 22's, so nothing yet from M7. (That should change once I get the unique-looking VF-17.) Was tempted a few times to pick-up the SV-51 (especially, Ivanov's), but didn't have a logical place to display it at the time. And then the whole broken arms stuff with the VF-0's kinda scared me away. So, never got into Mac Zero as a result. Didn't get into Mac Frontier either, since I never completely fell in love with the VF-25 or Bandai's toy rendition. Though, I gotta admit I love the concept and look of Ozma's fully armored 25S. Again, if they ever release a good-looking VF-171, I could be persuaded to added Frontier to my list. Favorite toy series? Hmm, as much as I love the YF-21, I still gotta go with the TV series. Most variety of Valks. The hero Valks have more color to differentiate themselves from one another (as opposed to DYRL). And there's just more stuff to collect from this particular series (joke machines, destroids, character figures, different stuff in different scales, etc.)

Actually, it's the one from NINE years ago. Linky. Technically though, I bought it off of eBay back in 2006, shortly after they released the VTSC X-Wing Pilot Luke. Figured a bad-ass figure like that particular Luke needed an appropriately tough-looking ride to compliment him. Sorry, Majestic. Wish I could help. My solution to needing more display spaces/areas was to build more shelves. But that doesn't exactly work with the parameters you laid out.

1/48+fp's, 1/60, And 1/72 Picture Gallery Pt 4

The first Big Three in their original rides, sporting their best accessories: Kinda wish I had bought some extra Anasazi stickers back in the day for these three Valks. -
Here's some pics of my relatively small Macross collection: DVD Bookshelf Set-Up (Future Home of a 1/3000 TV-Style SDF-1 <fingers-crossed>): Customs Shelf and M&M Tribute Display Area: My Current Desk Set-Up (This is what happens when you've gotta make room for another kid and gotta consolidate a few display areas into one): I also have a Isamu YF-19 (and some Macross MPC's <hangs head in shame>) that are currently boxed up and stored away.

Strike A Pose! V.4 - The Macross Mech Pose Thread
Mog replied to JCSaves's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Thanks, but I've already invested a lot on my 1/48's. Yeah, I know the 1/60's (version 2.0) are more in-scale with the rest of the Yamato Macross birds. Yes, I realize they have better articulation. But I'm running out of room to display my collections. And the idea of having to buy repeats of my VF-1s doesn't really appeal to me. Besides, the Stealth scheme and original Low Viz scheme can only be had in the 1/48 scale. -
Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force

If we are getting Gamlin's S, I guess I will be busting out the light blue paint on that yellow trim. Just be the super-husband/super-dad beforehand: * If the wife has a late-night craving for burgers and ice cream, just go out, buy the stuff, and bring it home without making a fuss. * If she's tired and uncomfortable, help her make her fortress of pillows or offer to give her a foot massage. * When the baby comes, try to be the one to wake up in the middle of the night to change, feed, and/or soothe the kid. * Be the one to wash all those freakin' bottles and other baby feeding accessories (Yes, I'm looking at you, ya damn Doctor Brown bottles!). Do all this stuff (and more) for the wife and kid, and she may not mind it too much if you give yourself a little "Nightmare" reward*. * (Just remember she may pull the "I carried and delivered your child; where the hell is MY reward?!" card). -

"ALL YOU MELTRAN BITCHES BETTA' RECOGNIZE!!!" Hmmm, wonder what scene I was trying to emulate . . . Lastly, muchas gracias to Ignacio Ocamica for the TV hands. Extremely happy to have them on the TV Max! -

Man I shoulda bought more Anasazi stickers back in the day. I find the Yamato stickers to be lacking, especially on the colored parts of the Valk. Plus, the Anasazi sets have more stickers to add than the typical Yamato set, and the Anasazi stickers (like the NO STEPs) are bigger, crisper, and are easier to read. Damn you, Alps Printers!!! -

Yamato 1/60 VF-17 Nightmare Diamond Force

Of course, I wouldn't mind a teal version too. . . but with an elongated cockpit, a more slender-looking battroid, and a "1" and an "EX" after the "VF-17." Thanks for the CAD pic and update, charger69! I too prefer the color-scheme on the 17D in anime52k8's post. If we wind up with the 17S and its yellow-striped scheme though, I'm sure I can bust out some light blue paint and get exactly what I want.
