Not too shabby of an ep. Looking back at the whole season, it kinda sucks that we only got one arc really centered on the clones.

Getting back to this week's ep, I didn't mind the minor bait-and-switch (with the story focusing solely on Asajj and not the red-faced, horned dude). If this is how she bows out of the series, I don't mind the ending they gave Asajj.

The beginning and ending are a little abrupt, but the hook is solid: Sometimes hip-hop can be deeper than just booty and bling. Absolutely LOVE this one:

Since it's already Feb. 26th in Japan, figure it's an appropriate day to post these (in memoriam): Really dig the song that starts around the 5:00 minute mark, but the first one is rather chill:

Definitely a solid ep. Asajj should have remembered that you gotta use Force powers to beat Greivous. Actually like how the Nightsisters ain't exactly allied with the Sith. As much as I hope they continue to focus on Asajj's path, I have a sneaking suspicion the focus will continue to move towards a certain horned, tattooed, red fella.

Star Trek Into Darkness, in theaters May 17, 2013
Mog replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Don't worry you ain't the only one. The reboot was lacking that underlying theme/allegory on the human condition that's usually found in all of the good (read: even-numbered, except for ST Nemesis) Trek movies. I'll give JJ credit: he can write and film a tight plot. But there's something about his style of story-telling or the substance/content of his stories that I personally find lacking.- 1020 replies

^^Yeah, I think I've seen practically all of his works. The level of detail he pulls off at such a small scale is nothing short of amazing. He's easily the best Star Wars figure customizer out there.

Now all we need is a VF-4, a VF-17, a YF/VF-19, and a YF-21/VF-22 in the white/yellow/black color-scheme, and the Skull Squadron will be complete! Heck, you're already half way there.

Sorry but after seeing this custom first (Link), Sith Fire 30's custom Darth Malgus puts Hasbro's version to shame. Correction: It Force-chokes the Hasbro version, hits it with a bit of Force lightning, slaps it around a bit, slices and dices it up with a few choice lightsaber cuts, then Force hurls it into a million little bloody parts, chunks, and bits. It's that freakin' good.

Were you able to get it before or after the new Treads/Betas started getting released? If it was before, I'm almost scared to ask what "relatively cheap" means!

I don't care if it's lacking in articulation; I so WANT this figure : http://rebelscum.com...es/image124.asp More pics of upcoming figs (that I'll never see at retail) here: http://rebelscum.com...r_Wars_Figures/

Not too shabby of a four-ep arc. Loved the final battle. Not sure I agree with the return of whiny, "They don't trust me!!" Anakin. I'd rather he have said something like, "First the whole mess with Master Krell. And now this? What's happening to the Council?" Tie back to an earlier story, show him more disillusioned or disappointed, and tone it down on the whining and over-righteous anger. Nobody likes whiny bitch Anakin.

Wow, that Retaliation Lady Jaye looks horrid! And can someone please explain to me why Jinx in her classic get-up is gonna be a super-hard-as-hell-to-find SDCC exclusive? Lastly, regarding the Super Bowl trailer, it's okay. But the first one was so much better, and the music on the first one just meshed so much better with the on-screen action.

^^Don't forget, Rex also had a little cameo in this current arc, when he hesitantly disclosed to Mace and Yoda that Anakin wasn't around to guard the Chancellor. Since they seem to have been assigned guard duty, I'm sure the 501st is getting a good-old fashioned mind-frakking from Mr. Palpy. As for these last three episodes, it's been a pretty solid effort so far; let's see how they finish off this current arc.

TV-style SDF-1 please! I miss the old girl, gawdy colors and all.

Very nice! Looking at the battroid pics, I now see why you painted the front canards yellow. I agree with the rest of the guys: the pink just doesn't mesh with the rest of the color scheme. Thanks, though, for all the WIP pics; it has been a fun project to follow!

English translations of the new Eureka AO manga are online now: http://mangastream.c...n_ao/71451535/1 Damn, looks like I'm intrigued enough to get sucked into another story.
