I read some spoilers about that first arc. . . . Damn. And instead of Jar Jar, they couldn't give us some final resolution on Rex's story or showed us what happened with Maul?

I didn't mind this last episode. Nice to see a little bit of world building (with the whole "0-8-4" bit being referenced again) and the writers slowly connecting stuff from earlier episodes together in this current episode. A few other quick hits: * Anyone else catch the not-so-subtle Captain America tie-in? * I'm with anime52k8 too: I thought we were seeing the origin of the non-mutant version of Bobby Drake! * Lastly, I'm curious if "Graviton" is being stored in The Sandbox too?

Kinda, sorta already mentioned, but what about the mythical "credit card exclusive" Valk. . . . but with a 1A or 1S head? And I'm with jvmacross, I will put down money for a large-scale, reasonably priced TV-style SDF-1 with attached Prometheus and Daedalus.

It's not that bad. I already have a number of Valks, Alphas/Betas, and Star Wars/G.I. Joe-scale figures sitting on the desk in this room. And my two (slightly) older kids know better than to mess--or even attempt to mess--with Daddy's toys. Once the baby gets older, I doubt she'll be able to reach the display case. Besides, she's rarely in that crib too. (I swear, the girl has a sensor on her that goes off whenever we put her in there!) Lastly, there's usually a bunch of diaper boxes, baby wipes, laundry hampers, baby clothes, etc. blocking the front of the case. So, my three kids would have to put some massive effort to even get close to accessing that display case. And if none of those things stop them, the fear of royally pissing off Daddy is usually a pretty sufficient "deterrent." -
Yep, I finally caved in : HOWEVER, it did mean that I got to bring down a few Valks from out of the attic! Closer shots of the Macross goodies: Don't freak (or nit-pick): I just took the TV Hikaru out of the VF-1J and put him in the DRYL VF-1S (It's not like you're gonna see the pilot anyways under all that armor). Also wound up FINALLY panel-lining the 1S last night, really gives some extra "oomph" to the plane's look:

It was crap. The primary weakness of everything you shoot at is the eye. . . . even on the freakin' Shadow Alpha you fight in one of the endings! WTF? You never get to fly an Alpha or a Beta, and one of the Cyclone driving sequences is just you riding as fast as you can before the bridge collapses on you (Don't even waste time attacking the enemy buzzing around you). Despite it's more annoying than hell "Protect the Cat's Eye" mission, Battlecry was a far better game. Heck, I'd take Jack Archer from Battlecry any day before dealing with bland-ass Locke from Invasion. Sorry but Invasion was a poor man's, no, a homeless man's wanna-be version of Halo.
