  1. Just finished Season 1 last night. GREAT GOOGLY, MOOGLY! THAT WAS GOOD!! Yes, the show has some utterly brutal moments. But there are appropriate moments of humor here and there. They really nailed all the supporting characters too. Not just in terms of their looks, but in their characterizations as well. D'onofrio absolutely killed it as Fisk. All in all, a really great series and addition to the MCU.
  2. Thanks for the compliment on the custom. But please don't put words into my post, ChaoticYeti: I never said the 21/22 was "the best at standing." I know the Omega has its issues. And if you look at my post, you'll see I made no mention of derex3592's comment about aligning the bellyplates. . . . Because getting the legs and arms to line up in fighter mode AND getting the bellyplates properly tabbed in everywhere is hard as stink. I've dealt with far worse toys and figures that were damn near impossible to keep standing and still hold a cool pose. The 21 is definitely NOT in that category, and I've never personally felt limited by its posing options. Now, can you complain about the 21's legs being skinny? Sure. But as you pointed out, saying that "its legs were not good enough to support it standing" is an overstatement. As for me, I personally don't mind the skinny legs, because of this: Between going with thicker legs or a thin profile in fighter mode, I'm glad Yamato went with the slimmed-out fighter profile in its design choices. I'll take that sexy side profile every time over the "plane strapped to an underside brick" look that a number of transforming plane/mecha toys have nowadays.
  3. Sorry, but that part I bolded is a simple, outright lie. The 21 can stand perfectly fine on its own, thank you very much:
  4. Of all the names to have: https://www.yahoo.com/games/news/nintendo-hires-doug-bowser-vp-131200542.html. Mario better watch his back at those boardroom meetings!
  5. Could they have crammed any more rom-com and chick-flick cliches into that trailer?
  6. Season 2 finale is tonight! Wonder if they're going to go full cliffhanger tonight? Or do something to similar to what they did last season, where they resolve one storyline but start up a few new ones?
  7. That pic reminds me of these folks: http://img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20060824033808/starwars/images/e/e5/Sithtroopermodel.jpg If only Hasbro had released a troop builder set of them Sith Troopers.
  8. I'm so glad I don't have to wait until midnight to watch opening night films anymore! It makes me happy that the nearby theater generally has earlier showings (7pm and onwards) the day before the "official" premiere date. Just got back from a 10:30pm showing. It's alright and enjoyable, but the film does suffer from a bit of "sequel-itis" (bigger set pieces, more action, etc., etc.). You definitely get those team money-shots, but I kinda wish they had held back on revealing too many things beforehand, either in the trailers or from all the news leaks. Lastly, as confirmed in reports, there's only one mid-credit scene/stinger. I can confirm (from personal experience) that no additional scene was tacked on at the very end of the credits.
  9. Speaking of gold, I didn't realize THAT'S NOT HER NAME!! used a Sonic the Hedgehog reference to insult Raina. ("I thought her gift was spinning really fast to collect gold rings.")
  10. ^^I'm a fan of long hair. But dang, Chloe, those are some over-long locks you're sporting there! Also, I'm surprised none of you horn-dogs mentioned anything when Chloe was rocking a negligee a few weeks back on AoS. But getting back to the episode, that was one hell of nice shoot-out scene they pulled off. Lastly RIP,
  11. Improvements? I'd like a 1/3000 scale TV-STYLE SDF-1 to display next to them!
  12. I really hope they don't go the Racer X angle with Tadashi. Or the villian angle. Or the amnesia angle. It'll preserve the original story if he
  13. Amusement, shock, and FEELS . . . . what a great episode! Lot of cool callbacks to Season 1 too.
  14. That Tahiti is a magical place where you hear nothing but the rain
  15. Really wish it had been the Avengers (or Stark) that those two were working for. And if Coulson sees the Admiral gripping a flashlight, Phil better get the frak out of there.
  16. ^^No wonder Worf became such a surly bastard! Either that, or the Enterprise replicators couldn't make a good cup of raktajino. Poor guy was still getting punked, even in the movies:
  17. "For that one fraction of a second, you were open to options you had never considered. THAT is the exploration that awaits you. Not mapping stars and studying nebulae, but charting the unknown possibilities of existence."
  18. Actually, I have to point out that the custom is NOT a 22. Not with those FAST packs, that battroid head, and those external gunpods. And add me to the folks that never had an issue making the YF-21 stand.
  19. I'm sure I've said this before, but I truly wish they didn't make Krell straight-up EEEVIL!!!!!!11!!! I'd rather have the guy disturbed by unyielding visions of Order 66. Make THAT cause him to treat the clones the way he does and make him believe that he's SAVING the Jedi in the long-term (by cutting down the number of clones they'd eventually have to face).
