I think you have to type: "[ spoiler]" (just remove the space between the [ and the s), write your text, and then put in "[/spoiler]" at the very end. . . . And I think I speak for most guys when I say

Just got back from watching it. Nice ending with some fun callbacks: Also, was I the only one who thought, "WHO THE HELL IS THAT. . ." Would have loved to have seen some tie in to the Marvel TV or Netflix shows, but it sucks that they couldn't pull it off or make it work storywise or contractually.

You and me both. There's a reason I bought these about a year ago (when Stick and Rey were first released): And I can't wait to bust out the clear green to make Yellow's visor smooth and semi-transparent (almost like the above OP pic).

The Bartley armor has higher heels than the male Ride Armor. That’s why she looks taller.

Well, his dad did have a bit of an impulsive streak and some anger issues. But for me, I’m a 3>1>2 guy. There are days where I rank 3 higher than 6 even. But 3 never changed my opinion of the other two prequels. 1 had the unenviable task of living up to everyone’s expectations. But had too much dumb luck all over the place. But 2 screwed up the Anakin-Padmé relationship and the Ani-Obi brotherhood/banter, making it the worst prequel. But TLJ is still my personal worst. Despite some utter crap choices, there is a good story to be found in TPM and AOTC. A plot change here, a change in the story focus there, some better dialogue, and you could have had good or even great films. Can’t see those sort of salvageable changes being made to TLJ. Just too much was messed up.

The Mandalorian - Star Wars webseries from Jon Favreau
Mog replied to SMS007's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Looks like he's favoring range weapons again. Better keep his distance if he's fighting a Hutt nick-named the Mountain. But if Favreau and Filoni are involved, I'll give it a shot.- 1438 replies

All good observations there. Not sure about the hip guards’ length either. I just checked Rey’s hip guards and they’re stretched open about the same length on mine with a neutral leg pose. But if the hip guards are the same length as the Mospeada bikes’ and Yellow has longer thighs, I’m sure we can adjust Yellow’s knees away from the bike to make him sit correctly in bike mode, use all those joints and possible angles in the hip joints to pull off a pose.

Yup Just three things: 1). It’s frustrating to see how the OT three were treated in these past two films, especially considering how much of a better and richer life they experienced in the EU. 2). Considering how much older the actors are now, I do understand why Disney couldn’t do a straight EU adaptation. Too much backstory to fill in, especially at the actors’ current ages. 3). Disney should have looked to Dave Filoni’s work on Rebels to see how to introduce new characters but stay true to the “feel” of Star Wars. I was annoyed at first with Ezra and his silly little energy slingshot and Kanan and his soul-patch beard. But after 4 seasons, those characters grew on me and became worthy heroes. Hell, Rebels even brought Thrawn from the EU, change his story a bit, but managed to keep what was so damn appealing about his original incarnation. The new films could have taken a similar approach, but they (mostly TLJ) failed the original characters and the new ones too.

Although it would be more accurate to say I started with a custom leg-art sticker for the GBP-1S, this little bird . . . with just its custom stickers (thanks, @Anasazi37) and the black-painted nuke tips was my first true step into the world of customizing: All the later customized Star Wars figs, GI Joe figs, later panel-lined Valks, and custom YF-21, it all started with this first step into a larger customizing world.

I’m thinking play Lily Allen’s “Eff You” during the end credits. Because both sides of the argument can use it against the other, resulting in mutually assured destruction. And FINALLY, we will have BALANCE in the Force.

Nah, after The Last Jedi, I’m out. I don’t hate Solo. But I never felt the desire to watch it, even though I can easily stream it. So, why should I give money for this film? One of my buddies suggested hate-watching it, just so we could talk ish during the movie. But I don’t feel like paying Disney for this specifically, especially since they haven’t done enough in the past two films to make me care for the main hero trio or the main villain. I’d rather watch the upcoming last episodes of Clone Wars or rewatch the last half-season of Rebels.

Sorry, making a few references to EU “Legends“ folks. But I get your point about making your own lightsaber and completing her training.

^^Sentinel (the company making these updated Ride Armors) already showed a drawing about six months ago(?) of what their Houquet will look like, armored up. See link below: No drawing of how it will all look in bike mode. But chances are looking pretty good that we’ll finally get a release of a large scale Houquet.

I actually looked at a ton of lineart of the combined fighter last night, and it’s hard to say one way or another. You could argue that the Legioss recesses a bit into the Tread’s chest, based on some drawings. But it would be recessing pretty deep with those attachment points being where they are on the arms/boosters. Bottom line: If you’re looking to lock up the combined fighter mode, that’s one of the best places to put a connection/locking point. IF the Tread is in play, I’m curious to see what improvements Sentinel can pull off in the design.
