  1. Looks like I found a pic of one of my old desk set-ups (back when my kiddos were still babies): Eagle-eyed observers can see nine GI Joes figures that used to take up a significant chunk of desk real estate. And if you look really hard, you’ll find the old o-ring figures of Version 2 Snake Eyes and Version 2 Storm Shadow.
  2. ^^Or for about half that $380 price, you could get a far superior Legioss or Ride Armor (assuming the USD to Yen exchange rate is still low)!
  3. Well, how many fetch-quests were there in those first two seasons of Mando? Think we won't hear the groans if a fetch-quest (or two or four) pops up in Season 4? It was something fresh and new those first two seasons. But now we're starting to see the patterns and the proverbial seams. So with The Acolyte, is there supposed to be some sort of new Phantom Menace that puts the Jedi on their heels? (pun definitely intended) The fatigue isn't just for viewers that have all this content to compare the new stuff to. It's also the writers and creatives: they gotta bring their A game, because they can't spam their usual tropes or story beats and because we know what absolute, stand-out Star Wars can look like.
  4. ^^Well, the first three eps focus on Morgan Elsbeth, the beskar spear wielding lady in Mandalorian and one of the antagonists in Ahsoka (who has a few kickass fight scenes in the finale). They try to give her some backstory, but the only interesting bits were her interactions with the Empire's military brass. Kinda wish they had flesh out a few other things about the character, rather than some of the stuff we saw on-screen. Other than a quick fight with Greivous, not much saber-wielding in those first three eps. . . . Can't say the same for the last three eps though.
  5. If they do go back to the Old Republic era, I'd be worried about which characters they could screw up. The fatigue is real. And the stories just aren't hitting with the same "oomph" as before. Bad Batch ended adequately. And Tales of the Empire was pretty underwhelming. They need to take time to marinade the stories a little more. Honestly, they're getting dangerously close to the point where Star Trek was around the time Voyager and Enterprise were airing. A lot of content is already out there, and the new stuff is either not taking enough risks or seems like rehashes/repeats of older, better told stories.
  6. ^^Nice work there, @pengbuzz. Figure to change the thread a bit and show off an "old" boat: So many cool vehicles from this line!
  7. Was expecting more from Tales of the Empire, but kinda underwhelmed. I guess Dooku and Ahsoka just made more compelling characters and stories, compared to Morgan and Barriss. I like Morgan’s character (and I enjoyed her whuppin’ a certain punk-ass character here), but it all felt very by-the-numbers. Looking back at it, Barriss’ story was interesting but didn’t have that much emotional punch.
  8. Nah, I’ve had my fair share of hard to pose figures over the years. But the old YF-21? It was relatively easy to pose her. Helps that she can hold a solid wide A stance as a starting base. Never had issues with either bird falling from that shelf. Semi-related: I wound up adjusting my M&M Detolf cube. Age and the interconnected dancing pose I got the 1/48’s in has weakened a few of the joints. Still got the pose to work, but had to add a bit of crazy glue to tighten Milia’s hip a bit. And all because they didn’t appear to be looking eye to eye with one another.
  9. The original squadron: . . . And the later updated squadron:
  10. My old setup, back when I'd just add more shelves to display my stuff:
  11. Looks like you have to click ‘em to view ‘em on the board? 🤷‍♂️
  12. Yeah, they did develop Omega and Crosshair more this season. And I’m glad Tech didn’t come back from the dead. But Hunter, Wrecker, and Echo didn’t exactly have much growth throughout this season. I get the Batchers’ “mission” was to protect Omega. And the ending showed that. So, it ended solidly. But I think it’s also fair to say that it didn’t reach the heights of Clone Wars’ or Rebels’ endings.
  13. Thankfully, they avoided most of the cliche possible story endings/plot contrivances with the ending. Definitely not as good as the series endings for Clone Wars or Rebels. But not hair-pulling horrible either.
  14. Makes sense this would be the last song they sing to close out their residency at the Sphere:
  15. The sooner they get away from time travel and multiverse shenanigans, the better. Only the Loki series was able to pull a good story out this stuff. And I was ready to MDK them after Season 1 of it. Deadpool’s probably gonna thumb his nose at all of it. So at least, it will entertain in that regard.
  16. At least, they got rid of the silly head-fins. I probably won’t get this, but as I said before: I’m curious to see what the updated bike mode looks like.
  17. When the fights start getting bonkers or there's lots of jumping and leaping happening, they'll have him put on the cowl. . . . . . and call in the stunt-double/bring in the CGI.
  18. Curious as to how the updated bike mode looks. . . . But everyone knows what I’m waiting to see. Hoping to see colored prototype pics of the burly Tread bastard.
  19. The amount of talent on that stage :
  20. Inspecting the line:
  21. If you ever see the skit with the Muppets and Keegan-Michael Key, yeah, you’ll see Keenan break a few times.
  22. It’s not like they’re talking about someone’s friend, “Biggus Dickus.”
