  1. Eh, I was intrigued by more backstory about Morgan Elsbeth and seeing what happened with Barriss Offee. But Morgan’s story never really hit that “next level” for me; it just kinda felt flat and perfunctory. Barriss’ had that interesting tie-in with Vader/Anakin. But they completely ignored that interesting angle and instead went with a worn-out redemption arc.
  2. Tales of the Underworld, May 4th: Short eps featuring Asajj Ventress or Cad Bane. Hopefully, it’s more like Tales of the Jedi and not like the underwhelming Tales of the Empire.
  3. Not Iceman!
  4. So, Mythic Quest Season 4 finished up. Not sure how I feel about that last scene. Been teasing it for years now, but Definitely thought the murder mystery ep was a high point. Enjoyed the poker ep too, because of how that particular story played out AND because it had Sabine Wren as Poppy's sister (two Asian-Australians using their natural accent?!). And as usual, they had the slightly oddball episode. Don't care much for the character they focused on, but the story was amusing and had a nice message in it.
  5. ^^Thanks for bringing this to my attention. My son is totally into that game. So, I’ll have to look into picking a set up.
  6. Also, Mospeada flows better when 500 references to Admiral Rick Hunter don’t get shoehorned into the story. And the idea that the Inbit are actually healing the planet is a more interesting take.
  7. TVC Reveals: * Landspeeder with Luke (includes poncho, rifle, floppy hat, and saber). * Asajj Ventress (Clone Wars look, but no cloak included). * Agent Kallus (Imperial version, but doesn’t include the rifle version of the Lasat staff). * Carson Teva (Flight suit but wearing the leather jacket over it). * Reissue of Dengar. Lot of highly wanted figures checked off for folks (excluding Dengar 😛). Preorders open tomorrow.
  8. So, have they done anything to fix the joy-con drift issue? That was one of the things that kinda killed the fun for me.
  9. One of my buddies used his to fry up marginally healthier Spam.
  10. RIP to a legendary boxer and grill pitch master! Here’s a couple of his most famous fights, broken down by the best boxing analysis on the ‘Net: RIP, good sir.
  11. Isn’t Coco dead already? Miguel have a near-death experience after almost choking on a chorizo? 🤦🏻‍♂️
  12. Season 1 and 3 of Netflix DD are awesome. Season 2 does have Punisher and Elektra (there’s one brutal ass-whopping scene with Frank that’s must see), but it also has too much mystical Hand ninja drek. A good rule of thumb: if Matt’s rocking the black bandana, it’s gonna be good. Punisher Season 1 was good. Had some good supporting characters, made some fair comments about PTSD, and had a solid story. Never did finish Season 2 though.
  13. DBA Ep 3 ended rather depressingly. Ep 4 is one of those good connective tissue eps. Nothing too crazy action-wise happens. But a lot of good character moments. As strange as it sounds, I’d rather not have another Fisk and Murdock throw-down . . . yet. It’s interesting to see the two struggle with their darker selves. I’m curious to see if they can find a balance between the two, some sort of growth, if you will.
  14. Lewis Tan was so much more interesting as a douche-bag, snobby villain in Cobra Kai. And is it just me, or does Karl Urban seem just a smidge too long in the tooth to play Johnny Cage?
  15. I got bitter about the initial Japan-only offer for the missiles and started looking into other alternatives to arm the Tread and potentially the Legioss too.
  16. And minimal paint apps on those pilots and bikes. . . . And hot pink Houquet. 🤮 . . . And no articulation on the Tread pilot for some odd reason. But it is nice to see them all in flying formation.
  17. Umm, pretty sure I've pointed out Sentinel's issues over the years and in recent posts:
  18. Well, getting a mythical Lansay Tread is a special enough occasion to bust all of those Treads/Betas out.
  19. I still have a poop-ton of respect for the old MPC Beta. Solid ratchet-joints galore. A cockpit and pilot in the same scale as the Alpha. The combined fighter looking like a cohesive connected unit. Even the bloody stickers were superior to what Yamato was churning out for the 1/48 VF-1’s! (Most of the NO STEPS and smaller stickers from Yamato had a gauzy look to them. The Beta’s were much clearer.) Yes, they compromised with just folding down the cockpit for battloid mode. Yes, there’s no top shoulder missiles. And there’s large gaps in bomber mode. But it’s still been the best version of the Tread/Beta for the past 15+ years.
  20. Yeah, just a little punchy. I have my gripes and nits about the Sentinel toys. But overall, they’re a pretty damn good Mospeada set. You got renditions of all four of the main characters in their ride armors. Despite the updated interpretation, there’s not too many questionable deviations from the original designs. They made some incredible modifications to the transformation process for the Legioss, making it compact and locked in fighter mode but with solid joints for armo-soldier mode. AND they did some nice design improvements with the upcoming Tread. CM’s probably has the larger spread of Mospeada toys out there. But they’ve got those breakage issues for the bikes; non-turning heads, the tailfins that don’t completely hide for combo mode, and other issues with the Legioss; and that utterly horrible combined fighter-bomber look for the Legioss-Tread.
  21. Would you rather it be the CM’s scale? And who the hell is Lancer?
