NY just contacted me and told me they cannot honor the shipping price they initially set and which I've already paid for. Anyone faced a similar problem before? Seems like a breach of contract to me.

But we will not be happy till we see pictures. I'm also looking forward to MacrossJunkie's weathered YF-30 photos.

Back in July, NY sent me a preparation in progress email for the vf-25f tornaro parts on Monday, shipped the items on Friday so temper your expectations.

More people will be getting a VF-25S so I don't think it's a bad thing.

Another forum member pointed out that HLJ seems to be confusing the VF-25S with the VF-25F restock due this month. The restock did not have a quantity limit either.

To be fair, they should reduce it to 1 for everyone. No 2, no 3. Just one.

I got a reply to my second email, but it's pretty much what they've been telling everyone.

I don't think it's fair to lock accounts that ordered more than 1 unit coz there were no limits mentioned or enforced this time. In the past, they locked accounts that made multiple orders when the limits were set to 1. As in if someone orders an item 3 times to bypass the limit. I'm all for reducing multiple units to a single unit for all orders, but I have no idea how they're gonna do it and inform the buyers. Worst case scenario; they cancel the order, you point out their mistake, they apologize but you still won't get that order back in even if you want just one.

2 weeks after release? Maybe a month? They won't know who's not paying up till after release anyway.

Judging by how they've handled orders in the past, they'll probably fulfill the orders on a first come, first serve basis regardless of the number of units. The problem is: 1. There will be no chance of another PO window since they have maybe hundreds of orders on queue. That means there's no trying your luck once the item is out since the queue will never be shortened. 2. You will not know if you'll be getting one till the actual release date, or up to 2 weeks after release. It's gonna be a guessing game. What they can (and should) do is: 1. Reduce all multiple orders to 1 2. Cancel all orders after a certain quota is reached I did send another e-mail though so let's see if they're planning to resolve this problem or they're just gonna leave it be.

Bad news guys. I got a reply from HLJ regarding the VF-25S pre-order and I'm assuming it was indeed an error on their part.

They ban your account if you buy more than unit when there's a 1 per customer limit. They can't ban you if they didn't set the limit.

Those are items that have not been released yet. They're basically selling their PO, which might not even be guaranteed. Like another forumer mentioned, what will you do if you've already paid now and find out a few months later that it's too late to file a dispute?

HLJ does cater to the Japanese market. They have a separate website/domain for them.

If Bandai did mass produce the vf-25s, why did only HLJ get such a large allocation? I've been having my pessimist hat on since Friday, even after getting the order confirmation.

You can't transfer orders. You either buy them or cancel them. Or you could have it shipped to your buyer.

There is no pay now or pay later option for HLJ. It's all pay later. You're only required to pay for it once the items are in stock.

Anyone remember that glitch a few months ago when the vf-25s, 25g and even the yf-29 alto went up on sale?

I've sent an email to HLJ to ask what's going on. I'm not gonna risk it and believe I managed to secure a pre-order only to find out in November that it will never be fulfilled coz of an error.

I'm a bit skeptical since it's been up for 30 minutes, it says August restock and there's no actual limit per customer.

They're quite fast when it comes to shipping. Even faster now since we have to pay a week in advance. Speaking of which, amiami hasn't sent out payment requests yet. That's weird.
