Looking at the photos of the photoshoot, looks like it won't be coming with a gunpod... again.
-
I was under the impression those fast packs in the master file were 'fan-made' designs. Seems unlikely Bandai or Arcadia would pick them up.
-
They should be able to offer lower prices since the engineering and design was completed years ago but fat chance they will. They need money to stay afloat and make more valks for us.
-
Up at AE. http://www.anime-export.com/product/28034 6120 yen but limited to 1 per customer.
-
You guys are missing something important. Does it come with a gunpod this time?
-
I can hear a lot of disappointed sighs.
-
That's an unattractive price.
-
What kind of a father are you if you can't get both? I've never had the Yamato but the latest Bandai release was quite solid, at least during the first transformation.
-
It might be an unfinished 'prototype' using the previous Yamato release as the base.
-
That's weird. I do see a VF-4 as well. Holy crap I might be wrong about the Ivanov. Here are some rescaled photos for the squint-challenged.
-
Is that... SV-51 Ivanov?! That's the only model I could think of that fits those blanks.
-
I've seen it happen but they were mostly errors because the person in charge forgot to change the item limit before putting them up for sale. I hope they do it this time since even the stingy Amiami had 3 per customer limit. Edit: I just remembered that there was a DX Chogokin release that didn't sell so well. It was available for sale on HLJ up to a week before they decided to change the per customer limit. I don't remember which one but it was in 2013.
-
HLJ is probably playing safe and they'll probably have tons for order once they confirm their stock allocation. That's what happened to the last few DX Chogokin releases.
-
With that customer limit, HLJ is not gonna sell out anytime soon.
-
The pre-orders weren't open for an hour. They were open for 3-4 hours depending on the sites. Even the legendary Amiami PO window stayed open for 25 minutes, then re-opened for 2 hours. It wasn't this easy to get the other Hi-Metal R toys and I didn't expect the pre-orders to remain open that long with the minimum 3 per customer limit, but it did. That being said, I'm confident there'll be tons of extras for sale after release from those retailers. The VF-1J GBP was fairly easy to buy so don't fret. Just keep an eye out for HLJ / Anime-export or wait till release. I wouldn't even call this a pre-order madness and I'd say scalpers have moved on to different, more profitable series like the Metal Build.

I'm curious as to exactly what the Tsutaya exclusive comes with, even if I can't purchase them outside Japan.

According to Tamashii Nations, pre-order for the Regult starts on the 1st of October. http://tamashii.jp/item_announced/201510/

That Roy looks like he literally eats Zentraedis for breakfast. Great job. Give him a guitar and we have the next male lead.

That means it'll be something new. I was mind blown by the valks in Plus but Frontier had pretty much the same sequence. I can't wait to be surprised.- 2715 replies

What I gathered from the podcast was that Bandai might not have anticipated Frontier's popularity and rushed the production of the version 1. It's based purely on speculation but I hope we don't have to see it happen this time since they might be unveiling their toys early. Maybe. I hope they will. Pretty please. The big question is; will we see a VF-25G reissue announced?

Macross Δ (Delta) - announcement thread
neoexcaliber replied to renegadeleader1's topic in Movies and TV Series
I was under the impression that he placed more emphasis on the mechanical aspect for the YF-30 (and by extension, the Frontier valks) and had someone else complete the aircraft's aesthetics/styling. Is this a translation error? He did mention something about designing using 3d prototyping nowadays; his Legos.- 2715 replies

I'm guessing pre-orders start 1 October?
