well the funny thing is, the '69s were the last Falcon sold in the USA, but i plan to redo quite a bit of it using the Aussie parts. I might even try a RHD conversion, since most of the parts are interchangeable, and i was gonna redo the dash anyway with a stock car-ish dash, except keep part of the original (the lower section, i like the non-column mounted ignition) P.S. (to yellow and katana) I actually hit the Ford of Australia site in my quest for Falcon info

here's a good anecdote to add to that: Remember the MiG-25? well, the russkies built that thing to counter the B-1B (back when it was supposed to be supersonic/ high altitude bomber) and also to counter the XB-70 (yea, the original Valkyrie! kinda weird hunh?). well the problem they had with it was, they could do Mach 3.2, but only for a little bit, and, here's the kicker: they melted the engines doing so! so therefore, they could only do Mach 2.5 for a high continuous afterburner on that plane, another problem they had with those engines was, they were hugely fuel hungry, like the VF-0.

Wasn't the Falcon the car used in the Road Warrior/Mad Max movies? i believe it was, but they used a '73-'74 model for that movie, the body style totally changed from the '69 models, the '73 is the same body style as the '70. but for that movie they used a custom nose and rear spoiler for the car Max used.

not just something different, waaay different! they lenghtened the fuselage by a meter or so, added the Canards, made the "wings" (the main section of the wings) longer, and added some more verniers to enhance it's manuverability. if u got a same scale pic of the VF-X-4 and the VF-4 next to each other, they look almost like two totally different valks!
