yep, both sides. that's what I thought too, but it felt like any more force would break it.

Just got my -17D today. Stuck on the back where the wing supports are supposed to slide towards the middle. It's taking more force than I want to use to get them to slide together......am I missing a step or a piece or something? EDIT: No, I haven't searched for it in this or the other thread yet. :/

and just got my VF-11 today! apparently a couple more are coming tomorrow. Gotta love getting stuff in the mail! side note- the lower heat shield is a pain in the ass!

I've gotta agree with the "no Muv Luv!" sentiment here. Just not feeling it at all. Valk-wise, I hope they stay and keep cranking the puppies out! A VF-9 & -14 would be great to have for my "one of every number" collection.

For me, the Excelsior was the best design to come out of the series, it's just one of those "It just looks RIGHT" kinda deals. The E- was a bit iffy originally to me, the D- looked like they squashed the whole thing together. The F- (I do play STO from time to time).....is just HUGE. I like the uniqueness of the design though, but the sucker is bigger than the Macross from what I've gathered by the feeling. as far as the Alt Timeline....I think I'll need another movie before I warm up to the design. -

I've actually been contemplating just doing the -0C/D conversion altogether the last couple days. My only problem is I'm awful at modeling/painting. I can hang out til the D-type head is done. A Millia-colored VF-0 would catch people's attention.

any ideas about a kinda-loosening/floppy-ish right arm (feels like it's the shoulder ball-joint)? I've got it tucked into the 1/2 Gerwalk mode so it won't catch my eye for now.

with all these prototypes wandering around makes me wonder when the next production model will be. I'm also hoping that the extra bay can be swapped out for something of a cannon-type.

out of curiosity on the -17S, has anybody decided to just paint the white part of the head black like the rest of it?

A thought: given the time between when they cranked out City 7 vs City 25(Frontier), perhaps enough got changed in the details or size that the other colony ships but the Islands are no longer needed?
