    Agree, it had a very strong and real emotional tone with the main characters that had me a little more impacted than what would normally occur watching a movie. And it bears repeating TARS -b.

    This was also an interesting scene in the movie, it helps to frame or reinforce what's going on in the world at the time as well as to establish Murphy's character. Funny thing as I was watching it I specifically thought back to this thread. -b.

    Ok, so I lied about having only a one sentence review/feedback. That said; I liked it. 1) This movie could have been called Gravity and Gravity could have been called Satellite Disaster or something (ha) 2) It was very predictable, but still very satisfying (IMHO) to see things play out 3) Suffers from some pacing issues (slow>slower>picks up>fast>slow-ish>end) 4) and TARS That is all. -b.

    Was hoping to go to a showing tonight, but I'll check it out tomorrow. Expect an in-depth review that begins and ends with "I liked it" or "I didn't like it". -b.

    So funny how pictures can turn the tone (in one direction or another) of a thread. And yeah, the Gerwalk does look good in that pic, this coming from a guy that isn't a fan of that mode. -b.

    These custom schemes are really nice, it's too bad 99.99999999% of them never get put into production as toys. That said, I'm pretty sure that a repaint or something will be coming if for no other reason it would allow Bandai to maximize profit on the design and creation of their DX Chogokin 19. -b.

    Because it's our money to do with as we see fit. Be it to look just at boxes (which would be an odd thing to do IMHO) or to open, play with or display. -b.

    Personally I don't have a problem with Blomkamp's strong social-commentary but I can absolutely see how it's a turn-off for some. Like a lot of artists his background (South Africa) had a huge influence on the type of art produced. And this will sure to have tons of action/violence based on the pictures posted ("Daddy" with an assault rifle). And New York (NYC)? -b.

    ^Honestly, I wrote Emily Blunt because (1) she can act and (2) she can do action - pretty good credentials when thinking about casting a comic book movie. I don't read Captain Marvel and honestly know nothing about the character so I have no opinion on "fit" for the character with regards to Emily Blunt, Katheryn Winnick (who "looks" more the part going off of the pictures posted than Emily does) or the other serious suggestions. Eh, either way I'm sure whoever is cast will cause more yays and nays from our members. -b.

    Just the exclusives, various Super and Armor Parts, this RVF-171 and the Isamu YF-29 (had some Metal Build Gundam exclusives come with the outer brown box as well). -b.
