  1. You're probably right, and if not there then some other joint that hopefully won't get loose immediately or over time. Agree, I'd like a different scale too, maybe a renewed 1/55 just because I don't want the headache of trying to decide whether or not to replace my existing 1/60's from another company. But there'd be a part of me that wants all my Valkyries to be in-scale with one another. And Brand-X, you're right in that it might be hard to re-re-re-re-reinvent the wheel but I'd hope for at least (1) feature that's innovative or other versions. -b.
  2. For all Bandai VF-1 enthusiasts - a speculation thread to post your hopes and dreams! -b. *image taken from http://mazikanon.blog102.fc2.com/blog-entry-352.html
  3. The curse of being a truly discerning movie-goer. Movies have to be REALLY horrible to offend my intelligence, or in other cases disappoint - even when expectations are high because of previous works (as the case here). I guess I'm "lucky" in that regard. -b.
  4. Speaking of, and considering the time of year - Bad Santa is a serious guilty pleasure of mine, that movie makes me laugh no matter how many times I've seen it. -b.
  5. Nice! Just a few more days (hopefully) for an update on pricing, availability of how to buy and Fighter Mode pictures of the DX Chogokin VF-19. -b.
  6. Nice...now only if I had the skill sets needed to build a good representation of that kit. Ha. Really good point, I think I was too "in the moment" to let that sink in as those are really good points/critiques. -b.
  7. Did someone say VF-4G? From what I can tell those ankles do not have ball joints, and as such the range of motion is more limited than that of Arcadia's YF-19. I don't have any of the other, newer 19 or 17 variants to compare. I know that Arcadia heard the complaints/feedback about the YF-19 ankle joints as Mr. K responded via Twitter. So with that I would hope that they've improved the design but I agree that it's a big *if* considering the dollars attached to buying one. -b.
  8. Pretty much sums up my attitude here and in life. -b.
  9. In all debates on who gets cool sh!t Max>Everyone Else -b.
  10. Dude, I haven't moved them at all (well, only in Fighter mode when I first got it see the range of motion). My YF-19 is still in Fighter mode, one of these days when I'm bored to tears I'll transform it. Maybe. -b.
  11. ^Max FTW!!!! Can't even believe that's a debate you're having. For shame Sir David. -b.
  12. Now this is my concern, this is one Valk that may spend an equal amount of time in Fighter and Battroid, and a droopy Fighter mode like the original VF-0S would make me scream bloody murder. I tease about the ankles only because I haven't had any issues, not that I dispute there's an issue (FYI only). -b. *edit for grammar
  13. LOL Dollars to donuts between 0 to 5 whole entire people actually cancel their pre-orders because of the ankles, while those that never placed one to begin with cry bloody murder about them. -b.
  14. TARS! I'd love some merchandise (preferably from Aoshima or other company w experience in higher-end collectibles) from this movie, including a Ranger and TARS (and I guess CASE too). -b.
  15. Might not be for Christmas per say, but there's always a chance - I would guess no, but who knows. Your best bet may just to keep an eye out on Mandarake. As updates of Bandai's VF-19 come out the price could drop on the secondary market. -b.
  16. ^Can I steal that pic? -b.
  17. You should be good if it's only your first missed pre-order. Either way good luck - I hope the prices drop too!!! -b.
  18. Not bad, not bad. But I win. Spoiler tagged for obvious reasons. -b.
  19. You answered your own question my friend. Greater numbers of 25S will reduce the price, right now it's a waiting game to see. -b.
  20. For those that I open and for whatever reason I need to put back into their respective box I use the plastic that was provided (just wrapping the Valk in the same way it was packaged by Bandai). None of them are stored Valk to styrofoam. -b.
  21. How is Gakken not on top of this???? For all the grief I've given him about how much he hearts Star Saber I still expect to see him post all enthusiastically over every bit of news. -b.
