    ^Cause TARS and CASE were awesome characters. I wasn't a fan of the design at first, well not until that one scene on that one planet where someone needed to get from point A to point B very quickly - "those aren't mountains" -b.

    As much as I didn't want to get hyped, I did, and my reaction was in a similar fashion. Right! One thing that stood out to me was the design aesthetic. J.J. very much carried this over from Star Trek with the "tech" having a lot of detail and worn-in feel. And that aesthetic fits much better with Star Wars - I can't wait to see more of the Falcon, X-Wings, Tie Fighter and close up details of the characters and their gear. -b.

    Re: Play-Asia, after a week of waiting (I gave them a 7 day window) I contacted them yesterday regarding my order. Here is the response I recieved; Dear B., Hi! I am S. Our suppliers confirmed that this item is no longer available and they can no longer provide this items for us. We have tried to source it out from different channels, but unfortunately, we didn't also get it. Thus, we have cancelled your order. Would you like to changed the item instead? Please kindly confirm. Once again, we are so sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. We feel sad about this news and we hope for your kind understanding.     For sure these will be two different releases with some type of difference besides the head units to differentiate them and entice folks to buy both. -b.

    Gone now (sold out when I just looked). I wouldn't be surprised if the 25S shows up for brief moments at AmiAmi and/or Hobby Search. Not holding out hope for HLJ until they're able to fulfill all of the orders they initially took. -b.

    It's been surprisingly quiet regarding this release. I think that (1) not a lot of people bought it and (2) even more people may have waited to hear about the release before they do opt to purchase. At least you did that much. -b.

    That's all I have. Well, that and a sizable hold on my credit card. But I still refuse to pay N-Y prices (David, you and I have had plenty of PM's concerning my thoughts on that). But I'm in the camp that I will not pay an over-inflated price for something that just came out a week ago. I'll either pay below, at, or slightly above retail or will go without another 25S. No skin off of my nose if Bandai won't produce enough for everyone to buy without losing sleep or over-spending. -b.

    Aren't they doing a new TV show based off of that (HBO IIRC)? I think that Jurassic World will be entertaining, in a popcorn movie sort of way and with that there will be tons of plot holes and problems with the story with which to make fun of. -b.

    Ha ha! I see what you did there. But I'm with Mommar on this one, he is useful with the random bits of knowledge and trivia that's helped them along the way. Is he a coward and liar? Sure - but not everyone is, or can be a born, or born again bad-ass. I thought so too, but I'm betting on the redemption angle for his character. -b.

    Exactly. Even at the height of what they were doing Yamato was still a relatively small company, Arcadia is even smaller and could arguably be considered a step or two away from a garage co. I do know this, that if Arcadia stops producing Macross toys people will miss them and lament all the doom-saying. Re: the Hi Metal line, I hope it does well if for no other reason that I want Bandai to produce toys (as much as I want that other company to) - and any product failures lessens that chance. That said, these aren't for me but I'm still stoked for those that are going to support this line. -b.

    *edit* Sorry for OT As much as I hate to go against my beloved VF-4 (well Fighter anyway) I'd GIVE away one of my 4G's as a sacrifice to the Macross Toy Gods for Arcadia to produce Minmay Guard VF-1S's. On Topic; I don't dislike the idea of this VF-171, if nothing else it'll be nice to have a Valkyrie toy with cool printed graphics. -b.
