    Ha, touche'! And I've browsed over there, but have avoided commenting because...well, I'd be in the tough crowd group. True, improvements of existing features would be nice but I'm not holding my breath. Besides the 4G, in my humble opinion, was a pretty good release initially. Plus the less Arcadia fiddles, the less reason to increase the price (other than their increased cost to manufacture them). QFT What others have already commented, and then the "rare" factor, the Fighter is one of the prettiest in all of Macross and most people never thought a toy would version would see the light of day, let alone come out as nicely as it did. As send-offs and final releases go it was a damn good one for Yamato. -b.

    Funny how tough the crowd can be at times. Considering the prices on the after-market (including those I've sold AND bought) I'm happy to be able to get a VF-4G for below retail. And honestly they could do a straight-reissue with no added features and accessories and I'd be very happy. In a perfect world that'd be less reason for a huge price jump. And yes, I'm anticipating that this will cost more than the original release. -b.

    LOL! I'm not necessarily upset with the "change" per say, be it on Bandai's side or N-Y's. What has me annoyed is that it was only a week's notice. Given the price of the item in addition to how long before it's supposed to be available I'd think at least 2 weeks would be nice, a month if N-Y wanted to be REALLY customer oriented. But oh well, N-Y has the best price I've seen so there's not much to do besides complain and pay, or complain and cancel. Such is life. -b.

    Ha ha, nice! I'll have to remember to post pics once they arrive. Whenever I get something new I always mean to, but then never do. QFT Although I started collecting in '99/'00 with the original Yamato 1/72 scale YF-19 and VF-11B - this statement is so accurate. And even though I've scaled back significantly over the past couple of months, there is always "something" that I just have to get. Sigh. -b.

    Same, same and same. Trying to scramble to find some extra money because I'm going to get one, but all I can say, on behalf of my budget is "ouch". Does anyone know of any other places selling it for at or around the same price? Even BBTS which has it listed for almost $ 500 is sold out. -b.

    Good on Arcadia, this should be a sales hit for them. Quite honestly if Arcadia addresses the issue of the loose missiles on "their" VF-4G and does nothing else differently then this will still be worth the buy for those that missed on Yamato's release. And personally, as long as the price isn't completely out of touch then I'm down for 2. Especially since I skipped the VF-0A and (so far) the VF-0S. -b.

    Interesting. MP Hot Rod is an automatic buy for me, nostalgia and all. Hopefully it turns out much better than the original MP Hot Rod/Rodimus release to justify the purchase. -b.

    As much as I don't want to, I have to admit that I liked this much more than I thought I would. Lowered expectations maybe? Either way I'm almost inclined to say I enjoyed Genisys more than T2 and it was hands-down better than Rise of the Machines and Salvation. The first Terminator remains the best of the movies, no competition. I'll have to watch it again to see how my bullsh!t tolerance holds up, especially against a story that's unnecessarily convoluted with too many (unresolved) subplots. And I thought Pops was awesome, I didn't get that he was there only as comedy relief, besides all of the other Terminators were menacing enough. Especially the and his creation. -b.

    Not gonna lie, I'd pay that much for an in-scale, accurate MP Devastator (only because he's the most iconic of the combiners). -b.

    Totally agree, there are so many G1 (and TF:TM) figures that I want in MP form. And I really hope that they don't dive head-first into Beast Wars, again while I liked the show I'm not going to automatically purchase many, or any, figures from the show. -b.
