    LOL - among other issues with Bandai releases, good luck ordering these things, if they ever come out. I'm happy that Bandai is interested in Macross again, but by no means do I want Arcadia out of the game and there is no way in hell that a Hi Metal R will supplant a corresponding Yamato/Arcadia release. People can have such short memories. -b.

    Hey, I don't necessarily disagree with you or Duke - lol. I'm just keeping the mind of "anything is possible" and stating that if that article is accurate, it'll be one of the most convoluted messes ever. Which would also be stupid (the movie and the theories put forth in the article). -b.

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! lol Good points about the direction this series may take, but besides SDF:M, DYRL and Macross Plus my first love has always been the mecha designs vs. story (I did like Frontier because of all of the homages). Hell, I buy Gundam merchandise without ever having watched a full episode or movie. If this series turns out to be not my cup of tea, that's cool - I'll pick and choose the toys I like and call it a day. -b.

    For fear of painting myself in a corner (in case that article has some points that are correct) I won't completely agree with it being stupid (although that's what kept coming to my mind as well) - I will say that it's ridiculously convoluted. -b.

    Very cool! Glad you were able to get your order in over there. I didn't even wait to see if the order opened up again. Good news for anyone that wants multiples or who may have missed these initial pre-order windows. Now that I've had my pre-order madness and fill of the other Bandai news, I'm back to sleep! -b.

    "Free"? Everything, including display stands are built into the price. The only way any accessory with a Bandai, Yamato or Arcadia release could be considered free is if it was packed separately as a part of a limited or special release - with the MSRP remaining the same between that and a release that didn't include said accessory. -b.

    Exactly. I've been saying that for years - it's so gratifying to see someone else pick up the same thing. And if you really look at that concept, Whedon has consistently used "team-building" as a plot point of his series. Going back to the Buffy and Angel series. Another reason why I thought he was a great choice for Avengers. Now whether or not Resurrection was good, or better/worse than Alien 3 - I won't touch that other than to say that there are only Alien and Aliens in the franchise. Those other movies are big-budget fan fiction, with some being more watchable than the others. -b.
