    My Yamato releases were never bad enough that I wanted to glue them, but I do agree that missiles falling out could be annoying. I thought I read that the Arcadia version addressed that, too bad that it appears they didn't, or did not consistently. -b.

    Truth! Glad that you confirmed that, it was my understanding as well but probably from reading comments here vs actual 1st hand knowledge. I never opened my HiM-R GBP. The Hikaru VF-1S is a nice little toy (not meant to demean Bandai's effort) and I'm actually looking forward to the Focker, something I would not have said before. My Regults are still in HLJ PW so no comment on those. -b.

    For me I find the 1/100 scale Valkyries too small, that scale works fine for enemy mecha because they're larger in-universe, but I like the 1/60 and 1/55 scale VF-1's because of their size and playability. Which I know, is completely subjective to the person. -b.

    Excellent points. And I'm going to keep harping (or beating the dead horse) about how I think Bandai should develop a new 1/55 scale VF-1 with the same type of innovations seen from Yamato/Arcadia and Bandai's own HiM-R line. A nicely done renewal version of 1/55 scale VF-1 would make me VERY tempted to ditch the 1/60 scale VF-1s, especially since there don't seem to be any VF-1's coming from Arcadia any time soon, if ever. -b.

    Those are some nice pics, and that EVA 09 is indeed very nice, but I keep staring at the 0S in Battroid. I should ship mine from HLJ PW. -b.

    It hadn't sold at the time, but the answer to your question, has the Yamato VF-4G held value? - based on that example provided the answer would be "no, not at all". The real test will be to see if aftermarket prices rebound or increase for either or both the Yamato and Arcadia VF-4G's. -b.

    Actually it hasn't held market value at all, a year ago, or before the Arcadia VF-4G announcement the price would have easily been doubled, and would have sold out instantly. -b.

    True, but TWD is one show that I can't wait to watch on DVR, even though I set a series recording. Not being able to fast forward through commercials helps keep my heart-rate down. -b.

    Indeed. My tolerance for movies in general is pretty high, and that includes Dawn of Justice, but they (Snyder, Goyer, whoever) are missing very important character traits for both Superman and Batman. Wonder Woman was handled just fine for the amount of screen time she was given and Lex isn't as bad as people are saying, but he's not as charismatic as would have been appropriate - had they copied the animated Lex it would have been awesome. But his mix of crazy, genius, charisma and manipulation is slanted a little too much towards the crazy side. IMO There's still time for DC to right their ship, no need to copy Marvel - just hit on what makes these characters icons to begin with. It really should be easy at this point but the filmmakers are making it look so difficult. -b.

    If you're talking about the recently released toy you might have a point... Sorry Evolution toys fans, that was probably too soon. On topic, the "whatever" pack is actually growing on me. If it shoots magical anime girls or boomerangs or sound waves or whatever, when I get the toys I'll just pretend it's a next generation strike cannon and call it a day. -b.

    This + Defensor And I'm on the fence about MP Beast Wars Optimus, I loved the show once it hit is stride, but I have zero interest in really any Beast Wars toys outside of pure nostalgia. And that alone is not enough to make me spend $$. -b.

    Yikes to the episode, the season finale or the commercials? Because straight up, 30 minutes of people trying to sell me more crap is scarier than a Walker that I could just jog, or probably just walk 'slightly faster than usual' around. -b.
