  1. Here; http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=40095&p=1268718 And in the Sentinel Iron Man thread; http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=42836&p=1266905 -b.
  2. Very cool! I love the VF-19 Advance, currently the go-to Valkyrie in my collection. Sucked that I had to sell an extra a little while back, but I still have a couple left. -b.
  3. This. My Mom allowed me to watch straight up horror movies, like the original Halloween and Halloween 2 (part 2 in theaters mind you) and I was no worse for the wear (although, others that have known me for awhile may argue differently ). My 29 year old girlfriend however refuses to see this adaptation of The Jungle Book because she's afraid, which is sad because I really want to see it in theaters vs. Blu Ray. So long story short, agreed, it all depends on the child. -b.
  4. Nice pic Spanner!!! Really like the perspective. -b.
  5. Truth. Pretty sure, or I sure hope that there's a good business reason, but as a fan who wants to buy their products it sure is frustrating at times. -b.
  6. Was going to buy the Hot Toys Black Panther, and still may but I couldn't resist and placed an order for the Movie Promo Edition of Captain America; Was trying to get away from 6th scale figure collecting because it's SOOO expensive, but I couldn't resist. -b.
  7. And to think I tried to sell my Percival way back when, those blues sure are pretty. Glad nobody wanted it! The good thing for those that might want one, is the last I checked they're still fairly available, and at decent prices. -b.

  9. Not 100% positive because I only have the first Alto 29 releases (junk), but I think all of the Alto YF-29's were better than the very first release. I'm sure someone can keep me honest on that. -b.
  10. Sold my Arcadia Roy and Hikaru VF-1S's, but as others have joked about that white has a 'pinkish-hue' when viewed under certain, or most, lighting conditions. It is not at all the same as the Yamato TV white. All of the different shades of VF-1; Yamato DYRL Yamato TV Arcadia DYRL -b.
  11. Not possible. He peaked in This is the End. Seriously, how does he keep getting roles other than Magic Mike? Kingsman was a pleasant surprise, but I'm nervous for a sequel- hoping it doesn't end up like Kick-Ass 2. -b.
  12. ^Agreed, the premise of seasonal anthologies is way more interesting than just another series of the same cast/crew that could go 3-10 years. -b.
  13. Honestly I'm pretty excited with the prospect that the markings on the Valkyrie are tampo printed and not stickers or decals. -b.
  14. They have to start Spidey off young, there's really not much alternative. Spider-Man is one of Marvel's most iconic characters and they need to allow a LOT of room for the franchise to grow under Disney's direct control. The Marvel movie-verse can't revolve around Iron Man, Captain America and the current line-up of Avengers forever. Otherwise they're going to have go deeper and deeper into the vault of lesser known (relative term) characters. So yeah, bring on the high school years - it'll be nice to have someone with a kid/young-adult perspective to go along with Tony, Steve and all the other adults. -b.
  15. Title does suck. But honestly, name one truly bad movie out of Phase 1 or 2. Can't do it. Even the ones people consider lackluster like Thor, Iron Man 2 and/or 3 or "whatever" your choice, weren't bad comic movies, they just weren't as good as some of their counterparts. I have no anxiety at all about this being an amazing (ha) Spider-Man movie. -b.
  16. Quoted for two-truths. Although I'm a Gen X'er too, I never really thought it was my generation, honestly I never really thought about if those tendencies as generational but more about upbringing, education and environment - all things that impact people of any age range. Interesting (to me at least) but way off topic so I apologize for that. And to be clear, I'm not opposed to a "crawl" but I think it'd be awesome if said crawl was done in a way that differentiated itself in some way from the core Star Wars films. But if not, whatever, it's really not that big of a deal. -b.
  17. With the older Yamato bundled releases the Super/Strike Packs didn't have the character markings or stickers so the packs could be exchanged between Valkyries. I really hope that's the case here as well. If Arcadia decides to make these Focker only by putting on the Skull sticker or other markings it'll be one the biggest trolls they've done since the metallic VF-19 Kai. -b.
  18. LOL - I totally would, just as an ineffective way to say screw you to Bandai and to my own very, very, very strong personal OCD. An 02 Valk with a 04 whatever-that-is-pod. -b.

Sadly I agree. Can't really think of anything on-topic to say about HMR, so I'll just add that the Roy Focker VF-1S should be released very, very soon. -b.
  20. Easy-ish pass on Jango, I'd be happy for a Bobba, not that I'm a huge fan but that's a way more compelling release than Jango Fett. Really wish that Bandai would announce hero figures from TFA like Rey, Finn and Poe. -b.
  21. Never really appreciated the helmets (made by Yamato or otherwise), but those three, especially Max and even the TV look really good. As others have already said, nice collection Macsam. -b.
  22. Approx. 1/60 - or what Noel said above. ^ -b.
