    Not a huge fan of the 262, but the Battroid has a certain appeal and looks like it'd be a great display piece. IMHO much more than the Fighter mode does. Speaking of things this Valkyrie reminds people of, the paint scheme reminds me of Destiny's Iron Banner armor. -b.

    The Aoshima Drop Ship *and APC were decent, you can still find them every now and again on sites like Mandarake for a "decent" price. I prefer the Screen Color variants myself, but those are really hard to find these days. I really need to gather up all of my recent swag and take pics. -b. *forgot to mention the APC

    Yep, picked it up from the post office about 40 minutes ago. I'll open it once I get home from lunch. Now I'm more curious about whether or not I get a stand. I think I may try to hunt down a second copy though, we'll see. And my thoughts are pretty on-par with Mechapilot's, but I've past the emotional stage where N-Y pisses me off, I just shrug and figure it's the cost of doing business with them. There have been a few things I've wanted that N-Y would have been a viable option for, however because of my mild-dislike for them I decided not to pre-order - mostly SH Figuarts stuff. Kudos to Bandai for including the parts for the TV and DYRL Cannon Fodder. I'll definitely be picking up a few of those, especially to bring one to work to put on my desk. -b.

    My compulsion to buy Macross toys makes me want to get another Arcadia YF-19, but beyond that I neither need or want another one. If Arcadia opts to do another paint scheme, well then... -b.

    Re-looking at Takatoy's Stealth VF-1J I will say that I miss all of the customizing that was done by the talented folks here. You don't see nearly as much of that anymore. There were some amazing customs that people did that for whatever reason just didn't carry over to the v2 1/60's. I mean even custom sticker/decals do wonders for the VF-1. -b.

    + 1 Loved Visionaries, I had so many of the toys. Lion dude, Cheetah dude, Hawk dude their vehicle - even a few of the bad guys Gorilla (I think), and the main villain. Sorry, too tired and too lazy to look up the names right now. Those toys fell victim to my youth, pretty sure they ended up in the trash a loooooonnnnngggg time ago. If they did a movie I'd be curious purely from a nostalgic point of view, but otherwise it really would depend on how well the production was executed. -b.

    Very surprised at how long the May Restock pre-order of this lasted. Very. And there are a few re-releases of Frontier Valkyries that Bandai missed the boat on, but it's looking less and less likely that those will ever see the light of day with the Delta DX Valks in the works. -b.
