RIP Aliens was by far his most memorable role for me, followed closely by 'Punk Leader' in 'Terminator' and Sergeant Farell in Edge of Tomorrow. Really bummed out, but of course sending best wishes to his family. -b.

Sucks to read about any of the Renewals yellowing. I have (3) 25F's on display and none of showed any signs - 2 covered in various armor and 1 in plain Battroid. A couple have spent time 'out' when I lived in FL and one was opened after I moved back to MI. Gave a quick once-over to my 25G, S and RVF and all good there too. -b.

So now that most people have the J, and people are securing their pre-orders for the F, when do Mirage's pre-orders open? That's the last 'regular' VF-31 variant that I really want. -b.

Actually getting tempted now. Haven't placed a pre-order for either version but there are other items competing for my dollar in April. Even without the question of whether or not the 'Premium' version is worth the cost I may or may not order. Especially since it's just another Hikaru variant. Talk Max and then you'd have my full attention. -b.

Makes sense and you're good F360, I quoted you because your's was the most recent post on the topic. I will say this about HLJ, or really any store, there is a need to be consistent with what policies mean and how they are enforced or interpreted by their own staff. At the end of the day we're chatting about toys so it's important to keep perspective (speaking mostly to, and about myself) but I'm gonna just keep a lower (if that's possible) profile about my buying activities. -b.

Interesting observation. Considering how this whole pre-order, order-after-the-fact, thing has been discussed here on the forums and how I know it's worked out for me and those I know in real life I'm going to just stop posting (not that I feel like I do a lot of that "look what I got" type of thing) about my purchases and pre-orders. -b.

Fair. Me too, I think. As others have said N-Y has the better price, and even if it costs $ 30 or $ 40 to ship then you still make out cheaper than HLJ after shipping. Don't understand why HLJ isn't offering a pre-order discount, but because they aren't, and I'm not the biggest fan of N-Y. I'll wait to order this later or with another vendor altogether. -b.

Hmmmm As much as the fanboy in me is curious I'm not sure how I would feel about this actually becoming reality with Wolverine, Cable and Deadpool. My Wolverine apprehension comes with how serious or not a film Logan is, and how this could dilute that experience if the 2nd Deadpool has the same humour as the first. And Brosnan as Cable...I could actually see it in that picture, but Pierce has too thin a build, but with CGI and costumes I suppose they could get around that. Or just simply make the character smaller. Either way, I'm weirdly curious to see him in the roll. -b.

Me three!!! Especially since I cancelled my HLJ pre-order (my only pre-order). I want to like this Valk, but I don't. I've skipped on enemy mechs before, specifically from Macross Zero so I'll sleep very soundly saving or re-allocating the money. -b.

Same. And also speaking for personal experiences (multiple times), you can purchase more than one of the same quantity itemed items POST-release. I've even had two of the same item sitting in my Private Warehouse. I think I posted a pic of that on here, but I don't remember with 100% certainty. The order quantity limit is at the time of checkout and for pre-order items. Ami Ami's site won't allow you to order more of the same, even after release, UNLESS, the item is specifically marked as a re-release. Personal experience again with the DX Renewal 25F. -b.

Wow Count me in the WTF camp on Arcadia's Premium vs. Regular strategy, there'd have to be a lot more than tampo markings to justify the price. I'd also agree this could be a test case to see if there is a market to charge more for future releases that are available via normal channels. As someone else already said "so dumb". Now I don't at all understand or get behind any complaints about the 'regular' release pricing, it's the Valk, plus Super/Strike parts and is about the same price as the DX 31. So... -b.

Fair. If the 31J is any indication orders will open up a few times at AmiAmi and probably HLJ before it's all said and done. And of course there is N-Y. Personally I had a good pre-order night so I'm no longer in the hunt, but I'm EXTREMELY curious to see what price N-Y opens up with. -b.

That's all I found too, from what I can tell the only orders still available are from 3rd party. I'm sure the 31F was much cheaper through Amazon direct. Which makes me wonder if anyone uses a proxy to buy through Amazon JP vs. HLJ, N-Y or the like. -b.

Never heard of those guys before - mechaninac have you used them before? This is from their site re: Pre-Orders; Preorder items are depend on supplier company. Of course we try to deliver every our customer who pre-ordered on our site, But there are too populer poroducts may be short arrive to us from maker companies. In these case, we have to cancel some customer's pre-order from the tail. Sorry. So...yeah. -b.

Yep, pikashoo is 100% correct. I've bought from Anime-Export a lot in the past, both their webstore and on eBay, but it's been a few years since I last bought anything from them. And never a pre-order. I like to pay later. ha ha ha -b.

Have to always log in at checkout only w HLJ, for me it's the easiest of all of the store logins. AmiAmi, Hobby Search and CDJ all make you log in again. Even though I logged in already too. -b.
